Durrable Computer Technology

Mr. Durr came out, spent an hour diagnosing the problem. He discovered the defective part could not be replaced without replacing the entire motherboard for a cost of approximately $800. He spent the next week trying to see if Apple would repair the problem under warranty since the computer is only used only a few months each year since it was purchased. The company declined. We were familiar with the problem as we had the same problem with the same model we had in our summer home. That repair was made under warranty at the descretion of the service center in New York as this apparently is a common problem with Imacs from 2006 and 2007 Rather than spend any further money on a defective Apple product we elected to buy an new pc Mr.Durr said if he couldn't fix the computer, he wouldn't charge us anything.

On August 4th, my business computer crashed, and my laptop lost its internet connection. A collegue refered my to Mr. Richard Durr, whom I called immediately. He came to my office to review my computer problems. He was able to immediately define the technical and software issues with my computer, repair and update them, plus perform a quality test of the system. He responded to my call for help the same day, answered all my questions, and fixed my software, hardware, internet and printer problems. He is a true professional with much experience and knowlege. He was able to explain to me in simple terms what he did and gave me good tips to prevent future problems. My equipment is now running faster and more reliable than I have previously known.
