+ -1 moreWe called at least 5 electricians before we found Blais Electric on Angies List. One of them never showed up. One of them told us that crawling through the attic would take him all day and would cost almost twice as much as we ended up paying Blais. One would do it for half that but did not want his name associated with the project. One told us he would have to install something extra to our electrical box. Blais used existing pipe and a and quot;fishingand quot; line of sorts to go through the attic and got the job done in less than an hour. I would not have found Blais except for Angie's list. Thank you!
Description of Work: Installed a den outside outlet for our pool pump. Doing this required wiring the outlet through our attic, a narrow space about 60 feet, and connecting to the outside electrical box on the other end of our house.

+ -1 more.An excellent job of installation. Was told about a new (to me) transfer switch where I could use the whole breaker box, certain circuits at a time. The use of the circuits is dependent upon the Amps allowed by your generator, but , with a Generator Transfer box, you are only allowed the 6 or 8 switches that are wired. The installation was excellent, the tech. explained the use completely, was neat and orderly. I will call again if the need arises.

+ -1 moreWe just moved into our house. The previous owners had updated the kitchen. In the process they removed the garbage disposal and did not wire the kitchen to handle one. The wiring was probably there, but hidden behind cabinet walls. Going into the cabinets would have been a major project. The electrician came up with an acceptable solution that did not require pulling the cabinets apart. We were very pleased. I subsequently installed the garbage disposal and everything worked as planned.
Description of Work: Modified wiring to accommodate a garbage disposal. Required non-standard solution.

+ -1 moreThings went very well. Only alloted four hours, but Tim was able to call the office and schedule to have them come back out two days latter to address the other items we discussed while he was here.
Description of Work: They installed 4 GFI's in the kitchen, 2 GFI's one in the main bath the other in the master. Installed a light in a ceiling fan. Replaced a pull chain light in the master closet. Replace a broken flood light. Fixed two ceiling fans that wobbled a lot during operation. I also asked them to assess the exposed wiring in the attic and discuss how we could rewire the four flood lights and some back room lights and fans that were controlled by swithes that did not make sense. Also asked them to look at installing a proper bond wire to the pool enclosure. They also noticed a few items that were improperly wired and made recommendations. Have not received a bill yet but before I made the appointment they discussed rates and process with me with regards to how they bill, etc.

He is punctual as well. He is perfect when it comes to the quality of work. I would use him again in the future without any question.
