They never performed a dye test liked promised and only performed a sniffer test. They charged for a dye test and found out it was never performed. I had another company come out because they wanted to charge me for a whole new coil almost $2000.00. when I questioned the office staff she kept hanging up on me and would not talk to me regarding this problem. I had the same experience with the office staff as the other person who left a review.

Presto Air serviced our 18 year old AC unit, which we knew was only a temporary fix. We were so pleased with the service that we decided to go with them when we replaced our AC unit. The estimate was fair, but we were willing to pay a little extra for the quality service. The unit was installed quickly. The techs left a little mess, but overall we were very pleased with the install. That is when the nightmare began. We were told several times that we needed to be available when the city inspector came or we would be charged a $200 fee. No big deal, so I thought. My wife stayed home the entire day for the inspector. He finally arrived late in the afternoon. My wife took him to the air handler, which is in the house. After he noticed that the permit was not with the handler, he left, immediately failing the inspection. My wife spent the rest of the day trying to contact someone regarding the missing permit. It turns out that the permit was taped to the electric panel in the garage. We tried to contact the city to have them come back out, but they would not allow my wife to schedule this because the contractor must handle the permit process. When my wife spoke with Presto Air regarding the situation she was told that we would be charged the $200, and the inspection would not be re-scheduled until it was paid. During the conversation, the women on the phone told my wife that she was sick of dealing with us, and we should be happy because they had already given us a temporary AC unit for free until they installed the new one. She obviously had us mistaken with other customers, because our unit was serviced, and we paid $150 for that service. There was no temporary unit. I spoke with the same women (worst customer service that I ever dealt with), and she told me that the contract clearly stated that we would be charged $200 for a failed inspection. When I checked the contract, it clearly stated that we had to make our house available to the inspector or we would be charged $200. When I told her that we did just that, she hung up on me. It is now several months later, and our AC unit is not working properly. My wife called in and was told that there is a $200 balance, and that they would not come out until it is paid. She also stated that they have tried to contact me numerous times and I couldn't be reached. I was never contacted from them after the time she hung up on me. She must not realize that wireless providers store all incoming and outgoing calls, and by simply looking through our records, it is clear that she never attempted to contact me. I forgot, she also threatened to send our bill to collections. The service provided by the technicians was phenomenal, but because of the customer service provided by the admin staff, we will never deal with them again. This is the only negative review that I have ever given, that is how upset I have been with the service.
Description of Work: We originally had Presto Air out for a service call. The owner of the company was the person that arrived. We were so pleased with his honesty and professionalism, that we chose to use this company to replace our 18 year old AC unit.
