Choose Someone Else! We hired Master Movers on the recommendation of someone in the industry to move my mom from Florida to California, where she would eventually be in a retirement community. This is one of those stressful, downsizing, life-moments and I was hoping to make this as easy and low stress for my mom as possible. Towards that end, we hired Master Movers to remove and sell the bulk of her 2400+ sf home which included a white baby grand piano, a large entertainment center, a carved bar, etc. Beautiful pieces which were in perfect condition. It was communicated during the entire process that she didn’t yet have a room in her new community and would be living in an Airbnb until that was available. The discussions always centered around whether items would be stored in Florida or California until that date. We eventually decided California. When she finally moved into her place less than a month after the truck delivered them to a storage facility in California, we used a wonderful company called Managing Moves & More to pick up the items, unpack and set her up new apartment. I was there for that process and it was a depressing day. Our contact and MM&M was equally upset – she said she had never seen so much damage and she does this for a living The majority of items were damaged or broken; unique treasures she had collected overseas: a tall glass vase from Venice, the wooden frames or original artwork gouged, lamp shade missing, redwood floor lamp broken with 5-6 large gouges, over 10-12 glass an ceramic pieces that had to be glued back together, several large, wooden animal sculptures that were damaged or had to be repaired, a second lamp irreparable broken with fixture hanging over, metal pot for 9 foot high artificial tree bashed in on 2 sides, it just goes on and on. And the number of items missing are still being identified. If artwork and lamps were properly packed there would have been NO way for such damage to occur unless someone went after these items with a pocket knife. As a professional moving company, I would have expected that fragile items (ceramics, glass, vases), would have been packed to survive a move which I don’t think is uncommon. I strongly encourage anyone reading this review to select another moving company. For all of this heartache and stress, they offered my mom $1600 to never see important items again, to always look at damaged items that still show cracks, to always remember the sentimental gifts from her daughter and departed husband that she’ll never see again. Horrible, horrible. My profession is customer service and that is not what these guys know how to do. Caveat Emptor

Omg these guys were awesome. It last minute for me I was stressed out almost in tears, they came through I paid a little extra but it was worth it. If I should move again & I hope I don’t I would request the same three young men they were awesome sauce. Respectful, helpful, kind, patient, willing to help. I could go on so thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, oh yeah the next day they had to bring a different chest of drawer to me those two were nice too. So where are they finding all of the nice people or are they cloned. Thanks guys!!!!

What a great crew of experienced, careful, good natured and thoughtful movers. Everything was packed and moved with great care. And when the job turned out to be bigger than anticipated, they adapted with grace and good humor. I couldn't have felt more fortunate to have chosen them for the move. A testament to that, is that I rarely if ever leave reviews. But these guys were the best!

Master Movers - very professional, careful, thorough and personable. This goes not only for Colin, the driver, but the whole four-man crew. They handled the furniture with care, carefully wrapping most for storage. Likewise, our delicate and valued items were carefully wrapped and boxed. We have moved several times. This was, without a doubt, the best, smoothest and most professional move we've ever had.

Three movers were assigned to move my packed boxes from Bradenton to Nokomis, FL. They arrived on time and diligently worked until everything was unloaded in Nokomis, not even taking a lunch break! They estimated it would take 8 hours, and they were done in six. The movers were professional, wrapped my furniture efficiently and effectively, and i would hands down use Master Movers again.

Eli, Will, and Chris were the best. They took time to protect everything and got us moved without any issues. Four plus hours - no breaks or resting. I would definitely hire them again.

Perfect! Two young people showed up at our house at the requested early morning time. They were very polite and immediately went to work placing mats along the entrances and into the house. Next after a quick survey of the house, they started wrapping, by hand each piece of wood furniture with heaving moving blankets and tape. For the bedding, each matress and box spring were placed in large bags. And finally, all the soft furniture was wrapped in cling wrap. Each piece was very secure, and protected. As the wrapping continued, they carefully placed each piece on their truck and secured its position. Finally, at the new house, each piece was brought in and located at our request. Severl times, we asked that a piece be moved, sometime multiple times. This was done without complaint. The movers even suggested better positions for some furniture than we thought! All in all, it was a very simple and incredible experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We have moved multiple times, in the U.S. and several foreign countries. We have never had a more positive experience with a moving company than we did with Master Movers! Our move was in two parts and involved one move to a lower level storage area in our newly constructed home and the final move where everything needed to go up a large stairway to the second story main level. Not one thing was damaged or broken! Everyone, from Chad (the owner) to Kerstyn (coordinator) to Manny and his crew(s) was extremely professional, punctual, courteous, and personable. We highly recommend this company and thank them for actually making this difficult move an enjoyable one!

Beyond expectations. The whole process - from initial contact with Kerstyn & video walk-thru with Chad left me feeling certain my requests would be taken care of. During the day of moving - Eli and crew - went above and beyond. Many companies claim to be “masters” of their profession - and this time, it is true. Recovering from health issue...I needed a company that knew what to do! This crew and Chad - left me in tears of gratitude at the end of the day. Move went great. Manny and Anthony were great. They were careful with everything. Nothing was broken or scratched. There was no damage to walls or door jams in the new house. They were fast and worked hard. Because of their efficiency we actually saved some money from the estimate. I would highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have used Master Movers and they are great. Their prices are very reasonable, they are extremely responsive even though the office is short-handed and working mostly from home. They arrive when they say they will and do what they say they’ll do. And they are friendly and polite too.

I contracted Master Movers after looking at their reviews on Angie's List. We initially reserved a date for the move but our closing date kept changing. We had to change the move date several times yet Kirsten and Chad were very flexible in meeting our needs. The moving crew were very respectful and professional, the move was accomplished quickly and for less than the price originally quoted. The only minor issue was that some of the boxes were not marked. We would highly recommend them without reservation.

The moving part was great the two guys were absolutely fantastic can’t say enough good things about them. But when I got the bill I was not happy at all !!! At that time I was not aware of certain charges like supplies, and fuel. They were not explained to me. Then there’s the fact that they start the clock when they leave their place not when they get to your place. And the same goes for when they finish, the clock stops when they get back to their place. I’m sorry this doesn’t sit well with me. When the owner came out to give me an estimate he should have told me about how those extra charges work. He did not, just gave me the hourly rate and roughly how long it would take to do the job. I understood that was just an estimate. But not the rest !!!

My experience with Master Movers was outstanding. The crew was prompt, friendly, and professional. I will use this first-rate company again!
