+ -1 moreA polite lady answered our request and scheduled for lawn care estimate at our home in North Port. We've had on-going monthly lawn services for a full year so our beautiful thick green grass is 98% weed-free, with no insects, back yard has St Augustine and the front is a mix of Augustine and Zoysia in the front yard. John, arrives on time, doesn't look twice at the grass, didn't even look in the backyard and says "We don't treat Zoysia." I said our lawn front and back is 70% St Augustine. Again, I was looking at a somber irritated face saying "We don't treat your grass" He never smiled, or even said sorry since their advertising does NOT exclude any types of grass and I just wasted my time with this mean faced man looking at me like I wasted his time. My advice is before you call this co out for estimate be sure you know what kind of grass you have and my advice to this Co is to post what grass you do and don't fertilize so people don't waste their time. I have never heard of a lawn care business that excludes typical types of FL lawns.

Description of Work: Recent copy of a letter sent to them: Good morning. I have had my first service completed by your company. As I explained to both the salesman and the tech, I have had horrible experiences with lawn service companies in the past. Paying untold $1000's of dollars and never getting a lawn that looked healthy, only excuses as to why. I had no problem firing your company in a short time if I could not see some improvement over the yellowish green grass and often fungus that plagued my lawn. After only 1 service my lawn has never looked so healthy, lush and dark green. Your tech made a comment; "just looks hungry" as he viewed my lawn. I am very happy, yet angry at the same time. When your competitors feed my lawn, whats coming out of that hose? WATER ! I have to believe that they are either using cheap, ineffective solutions or not using anything at all. My hats off to all of you. You have made a customer happy

Description of Work: On the initial visit they evaluated our lawn, gave recommendations, quoted costs and a plan was initiated. They not only have lived up to the plan but have kept us informed, made additional evaluations and analyses at no cost and their communications are very timely. They have definitely lived up to all expectations and beyond.

+ 0 moreI have been with Lawn Care Extraordinaire for many years and they always do a great job! They are very patient with my questions and take the time to make sure I am happy. They are very thorough and my lawn is the nicest in the neighborhood! Their staff is helpful and friendly and if I have a problem with my irrigation, they make notes on my invoice or tell me in person. I would definitely recommend them to others!
Description of Work: They provide lawn fertilization, insecticide and weed control for us. They also do some insect control to some of my trees and shrubs.

Their price is reasonable, you get a discount if you pay a year in advance, they offer suggestions if you ask and they'll come back if you need treatment. I use them on my grass, I don't use them on other plants but they work. They come about almost once a month. They're good.

+ 0 moreWe'd been paying someone else for a similar service before, but our lawn looked horrible. Our neighbor's lawn looked great, and that's when we found Lawn Care Extraordinaire. Now our lawn looks great. We have Andy come most of the time, and he always gives advice for what we can do to keep improving things.
Description of Work: They apply liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and ant/spider control. We also had them do grub prevention.
