Larry was recommended by a neighbor for a full home re-pipe. Larry was the first quote that I received and also the lowest. His quote was nearly half of some of the higher quotes that I received. He showed up to do the estimate promptly and as scheduled. He also gave me several tips/suggestions over the phone regarding the plumbing aspects of a shower remodel that I was planning. The only reason I did not use Larry was because he was booked out a few weeks, and I found someone else who could start the job within a week for nearly the same price (a couple hundred bucks more). If Larry had not been booked out as far as he was, I definitely would have hired him, and I will definitely consider hiring him for future plumbing jobs.

The hot water heater installation was fine; the staff was punctual and professional. Cost was in line with my other bids and this company is well known and experienced in mobile home installations, so I wanted to give them the business. The plumbers told me that the electrical connections were fine (it's "hard wired"). The city inspector failed the installation, noting that an electrical switch was necessary near the water heater to prevent any future electrical mishap to someone working on the heater. I called Larry's; Shawn, at the Office told me that they had no knowledge of such a code. Larry stopped by later and told me the same thing, that he had installed many hot water heaters and maybe it was a new code by the city. He said that sometimes, electrical codes are not shared with plumbers. I paid a local electrician to install the switch box adjacent to the heater ($170) and was informed that I had to pay the City a penalty of $55 for the second inspection. The second inspector said that there is no doubt that the manager of the plumbing business receives updated codes (even though Larry's denied this several times) and that code has been in existence many years. How else could a safe job be done by cooperating business professionals without sharing City Code information?
