GARDENMASTERS OF SW FL INC

Will be suing GARDEN MASTER OF S W FLORIDA, INC. I recommend people NOT use Garden Masters of S W florida, Inc. Under their care my lawn has died THREE (3) TIMES. The first two times I paid to replace the sod and once even replace the soil. Not its dead for the third time and GARDEN MASTER OF S W FLORIDA, INC. will not return my calls, texts or emails. they misdoagnosed the problem and by the time their service person realized it was Chinch Bugs the law was dead. Under my contract wih GARDEN MASTER OF S W FLORIDA, INC they are required to replace my sod if they are responsible for damage to my lawn. We have a professional irrigation systsem so lack of water played no role in the lose of our lawn. Please be carefull if you hire Garden Master of S W FLORIDA, INC.

Three months into my service and I have just as many weeds or more. The office is very disorganized. They bill based on quarters not starting when you are first serviced but at the beginning of the month. Since my service started on the 27th, I paid for 3 months service and only received 2 months and 3 days by the end of what they called a "quarter." They say that you receive unlimited visits if you have a problem. But even though I called saying I had a weed problem they came out and 'inspected' and did a "fungal treatment." The staff was not friendly and wouldn't even listen. I do not recommend.

About the best way to describe Gardenmasters is that they are very disorganized, unprofessional and inept. Two months ago I called Gardenmasters and asked to meet with them about getting a quote. I asked for the name of the the guy coming out to my house (whose name was Dean) so I could meet with him and ask him questions. I was told that he would call me prior to coming to my home. After two weeks and hearing absolutely nothing, I received a quote by email. None of the questions I wanted to ask or services I wanted to specify were included because they didn't contact me prior to coming. I called and got the cell phone number for Dean and reached him. He apologized and said he was never told to contact me before coming and set an appointment to come see me. Dean appeared to be very knowledgeable and professional and was able to answer all my questions and said they could accommodate what I wanted to accomplish. He said they would redo the quote correctly with everything that he and I discussed. After about ten days I received a quote but it did not include everything that Dean and I discussed so I immediately called Dean. He said that I got the quote in error because their horticulturist was in the hospital and didn't have a chance to review it and sign off on it. Dean asked me to wait another day or two so I would receive the correct quote along with their suggested fertilization program that we discussed. After another week and not receiving anything, I called and asked for the owner who refused to take my telephone call which was another indicator of unprofessionalism. I asked for a return call and I was told he would call me immediately after he got out of his meeting. Instead, I ended up receiving a phone call from the receptionist named Shelby who said she was calling to answer any questions that I had regarding the second (incorrect) quote I received. I called again and asked for the owner who was available but became conveniently unavailable after giving them my name. Shortly afterwards, I received another email from Shelby. The email read “We no longer do custom proposals. We have a scheduled plan of our services that has worked exceptionally for our clients since 1991. We hope that you find a company that will meet your expectations”. First, I never asked for a custom plan! I just asked for what Dean and I agreed to when he visited with me at my home. These were the most unprofessional people imaginable and all I did was waste weeks and weeks of my time waiting on them to perform one simple task. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone because based on my experience, I highly doubt they could ever possibly do any services as they agreed to in writing since they couldn’t even provide me with a simple quote for services that we agreed to. After wasting over two months of my time with these idiots, I obtained quotes from Westfalls Lawn Care and Pest Control and Fahey Pest & Lawn Services. These two companies were both professional and reasonable and more importantly, put everything in writing within days of their visit to my home. I received a comprehensive quote that included everything that I wanted treated which is more than I can say I received from Gardenmasters of SW Florida.

They are very good, comfortable and fairly priced. When I needed them for an emergency situation for which I got nervous they came within an hour on the same day. They always come on time and leave a notice that they were at my place. I would use them again in the future.
