From the first call to Kurt, KDP was excellent. I hadn't moved into my new house yet, and Kurt and his wife Jennifer accommodated my schedule to come with me when the sellers were available. They were friendly and knowledgeable and had a written quote to me within 48 hours. They started the job when I asked them to, and they had no problem adding on additional rooms at the last minute. Kurt and his crew were friendly, professional and neat, and they finished the job on time. Jennifer stayed in touch throughout the job and followed up after the job to make sure I was completey satifisfied. I only had the walls painted, but I will definitely be calling Kurt and Jennifer when I am ready to have the ceilings and moldings painted! Thanks for a great job!

When I first called Kurt Dwyer Painting I was pleasantly surprised to be answered by a person rather than voice mail. Jennifer was extremely nice and set up a visit quickly. Jennifer and Kurt arrived at the appointed time and looked over the job. Kurt explained why there was an ongoing problem for years with peeling paint and that is something no other painter had explained in the past. A very professional proposal was sent to me and after getting prices from two other companies, I chose Kurt Dwyer. Price was one consideration, but the professionalism, overall good feeling I had after meeting Kurt and Jennifer and Angie's List reviews were deciding factors. Jennifer told me the job would be completed by the end of July, but there was a opening sooner and the work was done early in July. The crew of three men and Kurt arrived right on time and did an incredible job in getting everything painted in one day and in very hot weather. I am so pleased with the work that Kurt and his crew did and wouldn't hesitate to use them for my next painting job.

Everything went very smoothly. Our house is 143 years old, and presents many renovation challenges. Kurt met all of the challenges, and he helped us understand what the job needed to proceed successfully. We are very happy with Kurt's work and our new bedroom!

Jennifer came over for an estimate promptly (even though she wasn't feeling well) and did a very thorough job evaluating our needs. They weren't the lowest estimate we got but we decided to go with them due to their professionalism. The crew did a great job painting our home. It took about a week and they always cleaned up thoroughly every day so it wouldn't disrupt our lives. We have a young daughter and they were very respectful of being quiet during her nap time. After they finished they came back once to do some touch ups. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use them again for future painting projects.

I called Kurt about 3 weeks before to set up a time for them to come and give us an estimate. They were very easy to get a hold of, responsive, and arrived exactly when they said they would. Kurt and his wife Jennifer very carefully looked around the apartment, talked with us about what we wanted and did not want, and got a sense of our needs. They were also nice enough to tell us what was unnecessary. They measured the room that needed to be painted, explained exactly how they would go about the work, and left. Then they sent an estimate by email. I called and accepted the estimate. The Monday of the week we needed the job to be done, they called again to confirm that they would begin on Wednesday. Kurt came out by himself Wednesday to treat and patch up the cracks. Thursday morning he came with another painter for the actual painting job. They were very thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. It was as smooth as can be, and I am grateful. It took exactly as long as they said it would, they stuck to the estimate, and got the job done well.

We initially had Kurt and Jennifer come out during the fall to give us an estimate for the project. We already had a few quotes from other local companies we researched on Angie's List. The quotes ranged a few thousand dollars for the same project between contractors. We based our decision on project cost and overall knowledge and expertise of the contractors. Kurt's estimate was competitive with others we received, but we felt most comfortable with his knowledge and apparent commitment to his projects. We signed an agreement to fit the project in during the spring. Kurt promptly gave us a call at the end of March, let us know his crew's availability to schedule the project, and gave us an approximate idea of how long the project would take (weather permitting of course). Within a week, he called us again to let us know his crew could come out to power wash the house in the first week of April. Kurt even came out to confirm the colors we wanted and how exactly we wanted everything painted. A few days after the power wash, the crew was out at the house, prepping the siding and windows, which required a good amount of work. Our windows are older with individual glass panes that require glazing. We provided glass for two windows that had previously been cracked and the crew replaced those windows and re-glazed to seal them. We had to replace our downspouts due to several of them being cracked from the elements; we picked up new ones from one of the local big box stores and the crew painted them to match the house. The next few days, Kurt and team quickly got the body, trim, shutters, and doors all painted. All in all, the project took six days total (over the course of a week and a half) from power wash to final clean up. Kurt was on site most days and stayed in constant communication with us on status of the project. Each day when we got home, the crew had cleaned up from the days work and kept their materials confined to a small space in the backyard. Kurt made sure we were happy with the final outcome before making the final payment. Overall, great experience and we would use Kurt Dwyer Painting again. They were very professional and made sure we were happy with the final product... and the 'thank you' brownies from Kurt and Jennifer were a nice surprise after the project had concluded! We're extremely happy with the work they performed.

The painters were professional, timely, and very skilled. Steve Burnett supervised to make sure everything was up to our expectations... and they were. They paid attention to the details and the result is a wholly satisfactory experience. When there is more painting to be done, we will call Burnett Painting. They're great.

Kurt Dwyer Painting painted the living room, eating area, laundryroom, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and hallways in my condominium. Jennifer McSharry was very helpful in terms of picking paints and explaining how the job would be done. She came to my home and spent a couple of hours with me selecting paints, offering advice. Kurt was easy to talk to and ask questions of, and was very thorough in terms of breaking down the estimate and what each component would cost. Both Kurt and Jennifer were very pleasant. I thought the price was fair. Kurt and his crew showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. They did an excellent job painting, am very happy with it. What keeps this review from being an "A" is that I thought they could have done better putting more tarps down. It was only latex paint, easy enough to pick or wash off of surfaces that weren't painted, but had they used tarps and plastic sheeting more often, I would not have had to. Overall, I was very happy with the work they did. The painting itself was very, very well done. I would use them again, only I would insist that they make better use of tarps.

Called Kurt and Jen for an estimate on painting three rooms -- 2 BRs and a kitchen, including ceilings, closets, and trim. They impressed me enormously with their professionalism and attention to every detail, even providing color samples and suggestions. They asked a lot of questions and took photos and measurements of each room, something that none of the other contractors did. We did not end up going with them only because their estimate did not fit into our budget. They were much more expensive than the other contractors. But for those who can afford it, I can tell they would have done an excellent job, just based on the time and attention they gave to the estimate.

Came and gave an estimate of costs and scheduled, entire job was done in a professional way, including timeliness of arrivals, clean up and an excellent job. Could not have asked for a better outcome. Jennifer, was always available for advise too! Loved them and their crew! All A+'s

The experience was excellent from Jennifer's arrival to take my information to completion. They managed to book my job on very short notice and they did all the work in just two days. The whole experience was professional and so pleasant. I would describe the quality of the work as very high. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone.

He was always very professional and they keep in touch. They confirm that they are coming. If they cannot come that day, they call you and set up another date and make sure to make it as convenient as they can for you. I think their pricing is fair. I am very happy with them.

I was very happy with my experience with Kurt & Jennifer. They came over to give me an estimate for painting my entire condo. My experience with them over the phone was good, they showed up on time, they did a thorough job with all of the specs, measuring, etc. Their price was good - middle of three bids. The painters spent 4 full days on the job and did a really nice job - no complaints, no mixups - all good. There was minimal pick up/cleaning after they left. After the job, Kurt and Jennifer came by to walk through and make sure I was happy and do a tiny bit of touch up - which was expected. I would call them again or recommend them to others. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience having all of the workers from Kurt Dwyer painting in our home. Meeting Jennifer during the initial estimate I immediately felt as though choosing their company would be a great choice. Jennifer was kind and approachable, while also extremely professional and organized. The follow through was extremely prompt and once I agreed to hire them they were able to fit us into their schedule very quickly. The job of wallpaper removal can be pretty messy, however they did an incredible job of cleaning up each day and making it seem as if they had never been there. The painting itself was beautifully done and we are more than satisfied with the quality of the work done. We have already begun talking about having Jennifer and Kurt back to paint more rooms in our home. I have never had such a positive experience having people in my home to do work and I highly recommend Kurt Dwyer painting!!!

I couldn't have been happier with their work. The contract explained everything clearly, their proposal was detailed and made it clear as to exactly what work was to be done. We had much preparation work to be done, and they did a great job on it. Nice and respectful workers that handled our busy household including two newborn babies. They came on time, left on time and cleaned up well. They also came back after a week to make any needed touchups.

The project went great. I never met Kurt but Jennifer was great to work with. She was always very responsive to all of my phone calls and worked within my schedule because I had work being done in the same area of the house by other contractors. Jennifer completed the work with two other employees in one day. She was also happy to give us proposals on a bunch of other rooms in our house which we plan on having her back to complete the work at a later date.

In order to make this easier on both parties I had everything removed from the interior of the house and lived elsewhere while the work was in progres. The quality of the work is very high. I have a family member who formerly worked for a paint manufacturer and a friend who formerly was a professional painter. Both have commented on the high quality of the workmanship. Just prior to painting I had hardwood floors installed on the second floor and refinished on the first floor. There was no damage to these pristine floors as a result of the painting activity. The job was finished early. While I did clean the house before moving back in, that was really a personal choice as the contractor left it clean and in excellent condition. Good job.

Kurt and Jennifer were very professional and easy to work with. They communicated with me every step of the process which was very helpful. Their estimate was extremely detailed and outlined every area and step where they would paint. They fit this project into their schedule on a very timely basis (they were also working on an exterior painting project at the time so the team would be at our house on rainy or 90+ degree days. This schedule actually worked out really well for us.) The quality of the painting was very high...it looks great. Kurt and Jennifer also told me to let them know if I came across anything that was missed and they would return to fix it. We moved a chandelier to another spot on the ceiling, which left a huge gaping hole. Kurt did a great job of patching this ceiling. My husband and I are so pleased with the results of the painting- our new house finally feels like our home.

They gave me a great price and they did really good work. They were on time, professional, and cleanup was great. Also very friendly.

it went very well. Communication with Jennifer was very easy and clear. They came quickly for an estimate and were able to accommodate our quick turnaround time. They were punctual and extremely friendly. We have a baby in the house and they worked around his nap schedule! We asked them to paint upstairs or downstairs at certain times, and it worked out great. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again should any other painting needs arise. We were even left a parting gift of brownies... so nice!

Kurt and Jennifer gave us a detailed estimate breaking down everything including the number of coats of paint per wall, their approach is very professional and you know exactly what you are getting upfront, a breath of fresh air compared to most contractors. (I can add that they actually provided more than the quote without cost.) Kurt and his team where punctual, professional and did a great job, including cleaning up after themselves everyday. They are also a friendly bunch of guys. Overall the experience was painless, the price right plus the house looks beautiful. We will defientely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.
