We contacted Larry The Handyman Guy after spending sometime at angieslist.com reviewing Handyman companies. We are proud of our research; we got the best. Larry was prompt in returning our call. He scheduled us 3 weeks out. He visited our house and gave us a quote. We had recently moved into the house. We had plumbing work, painting work, lanai work, miscellaneous bathroom work, fixing window leaks, hanging fan, kitchen water faucet work, and minor electrical work. Larry is very dependable, professional and a good person. He has visited us once more since then. I think he is our handyman, here in Lithia. Thanks Larry.

One month after the installation of the ceiling fan it stopped working. I hired an electrician who found that the remote control was not comparable with the switch on the wall causing the fixture to burn out. $$$. Many dollars later it is now fixed and working properly. When the invoice was presented the %10 discount for being an Angie's list customer was left off. He said he would take %15 off next time since her forgot. There probably won't be a next time. He worked on my doorbell and put in the new bells and transmitter that I purchased but said it was a problem in my attic that he could fix. Spent all the money for the new parts and labor but it is still the same. I was charged $30 to change a light switch to a dimmer which I thought was very high since I provided all of the materials such as the new dimmer.

Larry was excellent, he arrived when he advised he would, quickly started working on the project. Larry is very professional and friendly. I have used Larry several times and recommend him to be your "Handyman"

I purchased a Louisville 10-ft Aluminum 375lb Attic Ladder at Lowe's and "Larry The Handyman Guy" installed it in my garage. I had to schedule the ladder installation with Larry two months in advance because he is so busy. I know now why he is so busy. He does a good job. I believe it took Larry and his partner approximately two hours to install the attic ladder. The $100 it cost to install the ladder was a bargain. Lowe's told me it would cost $300 in labor and someone on Angie's List said it would cost $250 in labor. Yes, I would definitely recommend Larry.

It was great. We had someone else put on new knobs several years ago and none of the doors closed. Larry fixed that. What should have been something simple ended up being really time consuming, but Larry didn't quit until it was completed and completed correctly. The other company had installed a new door when they did the knobs, and the door never closed correctly. It works perfectly now. Joe was also on site and painted the bathroom. It was the best painting job I have ever seen. I can't believe how nice the steps and railing came out. The railing is sturdy and strong, and the steps look great. The old one that the other company installed was unsafe. I am ecstatic over the quality of work and the professionalism Larry displayed. I would tell everyone to use Larry for all their handyman needs. Great guy, superb quality of work, and great professionalism.

Larry was very quick to respond and schedule the work I needed done in a timely fashion. His assistant Joe showed up on time and worked very hard to get everything done within a few hours. He was very professional and before I knew it I had a new mailbox and a new closet. Now my elderly Mother can reach all her clothes in her closet. She loves her new closet! Thank you Joe! And thank you Larry for saving me money when you suggested we reuse the still good closet door to replace a damaged one!

He is very very good handyman, He is a very personable guy, and he does really good work.

I would highly recommend these individuals. It is not very often you find such dedicated people who clean up afterwards, shake hands and keep a smile.

Contacted Larry the Handyman to reinforce some flooring in two attic storage rooms. He arrived and surveyed the job and provided an estimate. He scheduled the job around some of our other commitments and arrived as promised. The installation of 4' x 8' sheets of plywood flooring on the attic floors was difficult due to limited access into the area. The job was completed, on time, and the work crew was very thorough and really cleaned up after themselves (lots of sawdust and other debris!). They phoned before they arrived and kept us informed on their progress. You really couldn't find fault with the professionalism of these guys.

Larry and his nephew are wonderful. I've used them twice now, and while you need to get on his calendar early, he is worth the wait. Very professional, extremely hard working and all around good people. I will call them again with my next "honey-do" list!

When I have contacted Larry in the past, he was booked for weeks out. With this project there was no urgency, so I requested repairs when his schedule was open. To my pleasant surprise, he had an opening on the same morning I was getting my garage door repaired. Larry and his assistant were prompt, professional, and efficient. I have three small dogs with lots of energy. Anyone who can be good with my terriers is good in my book. These guys were actually great. They took down the old chandelier, assembled, and installed the new one on a vaulted ceiling and fixed two bi-fold doors that refused to stay on their tracks. All while my dogs inspected and supervised. I would recommend Larry in a heartbeat.

Hi Larry, I have a garage entry door that will not close completely and my dog keeps opening it. I changed out the door knobs and latch but still won't close completely and it looks like it needs the weatherstripping replaced as well. Could you help please. That message was sent late Friday evening, anticipating a response back for next week. This guy Larry notified me that he got the message Saturday morning and will call. I was out doing errands, called the house to inform the house members, "Hey some guy named Larry will be calling this morning." My mom, stated, "He's here working on the door now." So by the time I got home, he was gone, this guy named Larry. I came thru the garage to go into the house, and I had to actually turn the knob to get in!!! My advice to anyone who reads this, If you do need a handyman, why don't you give this guy a call named Larry. HAPPY CUSTOMER

Larry promptly arrived on the date and time scheduled with all the necessary tools and parts to do the job right the first time around. He completed all of the requested work efficiently and cleaned up while he worked. I will not hesitate to call him again. He was polite and professional and I highly recommend him for any odd jobs.

20Went well. It was so long ago, before he was on Angie's List. But he did great work. I would like to use him again. just lost track of him till I saw him on Angie's list. The date I listed above is a guess because he came more than once and he came after we were in California 2008. Don't remember exact dates.

I have been using Larry's Handyman services for years and referred him to several others who also enjoy his handyman talent/skill set however appreciate and respect, above all, his professionalism, fairness and honesty. In addition, Larry provides great consultative type services to brainstorm solutions to everyday household issues. He will tell you honestly the best solution and will deliver that solution with quality. I typically have a "Larry do" list which keeps him and his associate Joe busy whenever we schedule a visit. FYI...this guy is good and books fast so it can be several months out before an appointment is available. Plan accordingly and it always works out perfectly! He's a great guy and handyman!

This was a relatively small job, that was not difficult to do, but I was unable to do it because of physical injury. After finding Larry on Angie's list, I compared his advertisement to several others and decided to contact him since his advertisement stated "no job too small." I contacted his phone number and left a voice mail explaining what I was looking for and asking him to contact me if he was willing to take the job on. He called me back within 4 hours and explained that he was on a job when I called. He told me that he would be happy to take on the job and provided me a quote over the phone. He asked me when I needed it done and told me that he was already booked into June. I told him that was not an issue and he said he would call me that evening to schedule a date. He did contact me that evening and told me that, after looking at his schedule, he could fit me in on May 1. I agreed and told him that if something unexpected came up and he could do it sooner just to call me. He called me on April 29th and told me that he could fit me in the next day. I told him that, because of another commitment that came up, I would not be able to be home on April 30th, nor would anyone else be home. After confirming that I already had the mailbox, he told me that if I left the new mailbox where it could be accessible to him, he would be happy to come over and install it on the 30th and come back for payment the next day. He and his nephew arrived on the 30th about 15 minutes before I had to leave and got right to work on the job. When I returned home later that afternoon, the job was completed professionally, the old mailbox was gone, the site was completely cleaned, and he left an invoice under the may in front of my front door.

Everything went very well. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and expertise of this provider. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and will keep him in mind for future repairs/work.
