I contacted Larry in early September with a list of minor things that I needed to have fixed around the house. He was very nice over the telephone and explained that he was booked until the end of September. However, he offered me September 29, as his first available Saturday and I scheduled the appointment. On Friday, September 28, 2012, Larry called to confirm the appointment and I asked him if he could repair one additional item that broke since I had talked to him and his response was "no problem." He arrived at my home 15 minutes early on Saturday, September 29, 2012. He took down a ceiling fan that I no longer wanted in my guest room, hung a new fan I had purchased, fixed a broken guide on a sliding closet door and raised the threshold below a door leading out to my garage. Larry was very professional and personable and I will gladly call him again for other jobs that I have in the future. Truly a very pleasant experience.

He was very easy to talk to. He and his partner cleaned up after themselves. They used all of their own stuff. The only thing I supplied was the paint. He was just very knowledgable and very good on detail. I am going to use him again.

Larry came about a month before the work was to be completed to provide an estimate. He arrived on the expected date on time. Work took about 3 days. This was tricky work due to a confined space and the requirements of air flow for the new return. At the end of each day, he cleaned the work area. The new return looks like it has been there since the house was built. Great quality!

Called Larry last month and he was very busy with other jobs. I tried him again and luckily he had a cancellation. He came out first to see what he would need to do. The door was broken so I had to get another door. Larry came back out after only 3 days and installed the screen door and fixed the trim around the door. Very thorough and does excellent work. Price was right for the time he put into the installation. I would recommend Larry to anyone who needs the handyman type of work done correctly and efficiently...

Larry is the best handyman I know of! I had a shut off issue with the water line to my refrigerator. It appeared there was no shut off and when I spoke to Larry he suggested it was under my sink. I have used his services several times and would highly recommend him.

Larry has done other jobs for us in the past. He is very in demand, but we were willing to slightly delay our project because we wanted him to do the work. The pocket door ended up to be a much more involved when it was discovered that the wall was a load bearing wall. He brought a relative with him who had to go up into the attic several times to move the electric lines. Larry did an excellent job with everything and gave my husband several pointers. I am fairly "picky" and Larry will continue to be our first choice.

Called a day prior to appointment to confirm; arrived on time, worked fast and steady, work was absolute perfection, great work ethics, great person as an individual, all work was done and exceeded expectations.

Larry came in on time, was great with my dog and he cleaned up after himself. We came in under the first quote. He worked around my work schedule which mean a great deal to me. Larry was very prompt in returning my phone call and assisting me with my issue in getting a dishwasher installed.

Larry was punctual, a self starter and worked right through the days without delays or problems. He ask questions when needed and was prepared to handle each of the repairs with supplies and tools as necessary. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that he did not touch up the paint behind the new light fixtures installed in the bathrooms. The wall was repaired, but you could see the outline of the old fixtures. The same was true of the wall repair in the living room. To be fair, I had not ask Larry to paint the wall after the repair. It could be my fault for not being specific on what I wanted or expected. My only other suggestion would be that he carry a Dust Buster with him to clean up the chips of paint or drywall that are left on the counters and floor after repairs. It was not a major problem...just noticable when he left. Overall, he did good work and was very professional and courteous, even to my husband who is a stroke survivor. When I need more help on home repairs, I will definitely call Larry the Handyman Guy! Thank you, Larry.

Larry came to my house at the appointed time and went over my list of jobs to be done. We agreed that the work was more in the nature of time and materials and I hired him on that basis. Larry was pleasant at all times, explained some of the challenges and professionally managed my expectations of the finished job (no one can perfectly match texture for a drywall patch, which I know from my own experience, but with skill and patience, it is nearly impossible to tell the drywall was patched). Larry noted that it would take three days to do the drywall repairs to get the drywall mud to dry, to sand the surfaces and apply the texture. Larry and his helper Joe started on the agreed-upon date and worked steadily. They carefully measured and cut the drywall, including a number of difficult custom cuts to accommodate piping extruding from the wall for the hot water heater. He thoroughly cleaned his work areas each day and did a fantastic job keeping the drywall dust from spreading throughout the home. The finished product -- a dozen drywall patches -- is impressive and clearly professional. The seams are largely invisible and with a coat of paint (my responsibility), the patches will be imperceptible ... like the re-piping never happened. The final bill was at the low end of the range that Larry proposed and exceedingly reasonable. Larry and I coordinated schedules to do the trellis and he came out a second time about a month later to remove it. He worked quickly and steadily and demolished it in only a few hours. While working on the trellis, he noticed that the rot had spread to an area of siding on the house, which he brought to my attention and then removed and replaced. Again, his work area was left spotless and he hauled away all of the rotting wood. The final bill for this job was very reasonable, and I've arranged for him to come again next month to work on a another project.

He was rated A on Angies List, and that's why I hired him. I thought he was really good, and when I had issues with what he had done, I called him back. I told him there wasn't a big hurry, but he never called me back. That was a little disappointing. I initially thought his service was good, but now I don't know what to think. I don't want to ruin his reputation. I just wish he would have called me back, and fix the issues I had. I don't think I will use him again.

He had called me a few days prior to our appointment to confirm, and also to apologize that he wouldn't be able to do a project that we had originally discussed because he wouldn't have help, however, he offered to do it another day and I was impressed with how conscientious he was in regard to that item, and I told him it wasn't necessary to do it. He came on time, set up the ceiling fans and installed them, and also removed the old ones, which was great. He fixed the light switch in our daughters bathroom. The other work request was to fix the spout in the tub, but when he realized that the internal piping was bent, he said he wasn't able to fix it, and it required a plumber. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to fix it and perhaps cause more issues. When he was leaving, he also mentioned to me, that the weather stripping around the front door needed to be replaced, and we are wasting energy. He didn't mention it in a way like he was trying to "sell me" something, it was more of a fyi but I appreciated it. Anyway, he's coming back in a few weeks to redo the weatherstripping on the doors and also to pressure wash some areas. I would highly recommend him, I've put his number in my phone and gave his card to my neighbor already.

Larry was very responsive to phone calls, very personable and professional. He installed a built-in attic ladder in our garage and did a great job. My husband used the ladder many times this weekend to retrieve Christmas decorations and said they worked great and made the task much easier. Larry was on time, was very friendly and professional and did a great job cleaning up after the project. I will call Larry for future projects.

Everthing went very well. Larry and his assistant arrived exactly when they promised and completed the work quickly and efficiently...not to mention for a very good price.

He is very reasonable, he does what he says he is going to do, he comes on time, and he does a quality job. I am just very impressed with him. Two men were here for eight hours and charged $375 which I think is exceptional. The only negative is that he is so busy that you can't schedule him for about three weeks. At the same time, that is a positive because it shows how good he is. Even though it takes three weeks to schedule him, he is there when he says he is going to be.
