Well, except that his original work on a pantry resulted in a complete collapse. We sorted through all the food stuffs, and he re-installed the shelves using better anchors. This time it has held.

I am submitting this report because I recently received an unwelcome political e-mail message from him. I respect his beliefs, but feel he should not e-mail his clients about his beliefs.

I called David for an estimate to renovate a bathroom and he responded promptly and scheduled an appointment for a couple of days later. He was waiting when we arrived from work. He was thorough and polite, he gave so great recommendations that I had not considered. He left and stated that he would call us back with a quote but that has never happened.

He was on time and I only had to call him once to set up the appointment. It was a small job but he was very handy. He is very polite and professional. He does great work.

Very impressive. Dave was very patient and was able to immediately replace the washers thus stopping all leaking around the handles in the tub/shower but we knew it was going to be difficult finding the replacement parts. But Dave persevered and after several days of checking at different stores as he traversed the Tampa Bay area he located the matching parts in small store in Plant City.

David did a really great job! He showed up on time and worked hard through the whole process. He cleaned up everything before he left and even took the old door away with him. I will use him again.

The day he was supposed to come out he was late. I called him and he said he would be there soon. He rushed in my home, and was talking very quickly and hurrying me along. His attitude, demeanor, and appearance were unacceptable, so asked him to leave.

David showed up as agreed. He removed the frame for the back door window and replaced the glass. No problems at this point. He bought a 4" X 4" X 10' post replace a broken post. Unfortunately, he chose a warped post that was not perfectly straight on all four sides. As a result, the wood fence bends back where it is attached to the warped post. The door locks were installed on steel-clad exterior doors. They are class 2 security locks requiring long 3" screws in the door jamb for the deadbolts. He failed to follow manufacturer instructions for installing the deadbolts. Originally, he just used the standard short screws. After the first deadbolt was installed, I pointed out the error and he followed manufacturer instructions and corrected the problem. He didn't use proper tools to enlarge the holes in the door for the deadbolts. As a result, the edges of the holes are ragged instead of smooth. Fortunately, the deadbolt lock covers the ragged edges. Pleasant to work with.

Dave was very busy, so getting scheduled took a bit longer than I was hoping for, but once he arrived and found out what the problem was we decided on a solution. The work proceeded quickly. He does meticulous work! He was very careful about installing the tile and was determined to leave me with a perfectly finished product. I don't think most contractors would have spent the time he did after he'd applied the tile, but before he put in the grout, making sure that all the grout lines were clean and perfect. He even replaced a tile, just before he grouted because the drying process had produced a crack - he wasn't willing to leave it to chance that it wouldn't leak. He even put up with me watching over his shoulder from time to time.

Very satisfactory.

Initially, I left a voice mail message. I did not receive a return call after one week and placed a 2nd call. I spoke at length with David regarding the needed repairs. He denied getting the original message. I relayed to him the difficulty I encountered in finding a capable handyman, and one who would show up as promised. He stated that many handymen did not like working for * racial slur* or whatever the correct term is". I found that comment to be very interesting because the topic of my race had not been included in the discussion. I was a taken aback by his comment. I chose not to acknowledge his racist comment. He stated that he would call me later during the week to schedule an appointment;of course he never called back. Frankly, I am a paying member of Angie's List because I only want to deal with service providers with character and integrity, and without racial bias.

Dave did an excellent job. He showed up on time (which really seems to be rare in our area). Took about 2 1/2 hours to complete, and all work was done to perfection.

Dave did a great job, and his attention to detail was superb. He is a good communicator, and is easy to work with. We will have many occasions to use him in the future, as we will have several jobs that he could do. His price was good also, and he gave us a nice Angie's List discount.

Dave did a fantastic job! I was afraid what I wanted done couldn't be done...but he somehow did it! I sent him an email on Sunday, he replied Sunday, then came out on Monday after a root canal! His workmanship is A++. And I honestly think Dave could do any project in my home or yours. He saw lots of "honey please do" things and he will be the first I call. Thank you, Dave. J. Clement

He was there within an hour. He worked from 1-7 that day to get our stove and microwave in place. Very professional. Very accommodating. Very punctual, very responsive.

These folks are great! They are professional, helpful, and do the job at a reasonable price.

Extremely satisfied. Dave and his employee were very courteous, efficient and neat. They exceeded my expectations by moving old grill closer to garbage collection area and disposing of any work-related trash. Definitely will hire again.

This company was very pleasant and easy to work with. I was very happy with all the work they did, and the price was right. I would definitely use them again.

He came out at the end of February and looked at the job and stated that he would send an estimate to us. He had said that he would do the job and I stated that I needed the job done by the 13th of March, he stated that their would be no problem with that. I have tried to reach him since then and there has no been response.
