Crown Molding Now

The finished product looks great. Excellent job done on the installation and painting.

We've done our research and continuously ended back up to Todd's great reputation from past reviews. He was fairly priced and was prompt, professional and is proud of his work. We just bought a new home, so price was important but so was professionalism. We've had our run ins with some contractors but Todd was definitely a refreshing change. It certainly showed and we love how our house looks. We certainly would recommend Todd to anyone looking to upgrade their home. Thanks for the great job!

We were thrilled with the work. Todd and his team are very professional and courteous. The work is excellent. They showed up when they said they would, did the work quickly and efficiently, and finished when they said they would (even a little early). The team that caulked and painted the new boards did a great job. We highly recommend them (and will use them again when we renovate the rest of the house.

Todd did a fantastic job. He installed six inch baseboard in my kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway. He also installed 5 1/4 crown molding in the same rooms. It came out beautiful. Very professional, on time and had zero issues. He will be back to finish up some of my other rooms in the near future. I would highly recommend his work.

We were completely satisfied with all work. He did quality work and was very efficient. He cleaned up after his work every day and left the house clean and neat ready for work the next day. He was very organized and had all the special tools needed to do this work. He is very talented working with wood. The mantel he manufactured is better than everything we looked at in other places. Todd Larson was like a magician. He came in and measured all the rooms, went out and cut it and it came out perfectly. He was by himself, he came at 7.30 and he was finished by two O'clock.

Todd did an excellent job. I coordinated the job with him for weeks to arrive at a schedule that was convenient for both of us. He arrived on time, completed the job to our requirements, and cleaned up upon completion. He is meticulous about his work and it shows. He was very kind, understanding of our preferences, extremely neat, and his work ethic is beyond reproach. Most of all, my wife was very, very pleased and that says a lot. I would recommend him to anyone.

Todd is incredible!! He is the Michael Angelo of woodwork! He installed 5" crown molding, 5" Baseboard and 1/2" quarter round shoe molding throughout the 3900 sq. ft. home. He flexed his schedule to work around the wood floor installation crew, painters and kitchen installation crew during our remodel. He works in a clean and orderly fashion, meticulous with his work and focuses on details. We are very please and highly recommend.

Todd Larson was responsive in our phone communications. He arrived at the scheduled time. He was informative and had a good attitude. His work product was good. Before arriving, I emailed pictures to Todd of the routered edge of an existing windowsill in my home that I wanted to match. He arrived with the correct router bit to do the job. I was impressed with this because the previous person I hired arrived with the wrong router bit and cut the wrong edge, which meant that I had to pay for this job twice.

Todd was courteous, enthusiastic about the job and very professional.

We are very happy with the results! We had about 130 feet of crown molding installed and about 100 feet of baseboard and it took him about 6 hours to have everything installed. And the entire experience was great, very professional over the phone and very prompt in returning my phone calls.

This is the third time that we have hired Todd to do interior trim work in our home. He is not afraid to do custom work so that the job can be completed as desired such as removing wall tile, scribing boards to fit in tight places or around abutments and other features. He never complains and just does what is required to accomplish the task. It seems that things are not always as straight-forward and easy as they first appear. But this does not ruffle Todd's feathers at all. He is a very polite and personable gentleman who does not make us feel uncomfortable while in our home. He carries around a portable vacuum to clean up debris in each area when complete. Todd is knowledgeable, fast and neat. He also pays attention to detail. The only thing that he leaves behind is quality work! This is the type of craftsman that we Angie's List members are looking for when we join.

Add me to the Todd fan club! I am beyond thrilled with the outcome of our project. Todd was professional, very communicative, worked quickly and was on target for price and time. I love my trim! We have an old house with walls that aren't plumb and floors and ceilings that aren't level. I thought we would have to compromise on the appearance of the final result. I am amazed at what Todd could accomplish. I come from a family of contractors and spent my childhood tagging along with my father who was a custom home builder in the keys for 30 years. I have seen the trim work in most of the multimillion dollar homes in the lower keys and I have to say that Todd's craftsmanship is some of the best I've seen. I can't wait to renovate our family room so I can have Todd back. Awesome job!

Todd is fast! He arrived, set up his equipment and went to each room to get his measurements. He then cut all of his material and installed it. He makes nice tight joints, straight runs and all of the detail in the molding lines up perfectly. He did not make a big mess in the house and he cleaned up the mess from cutting outdoors. Time from start to finish was less than 2 1/2 hours. Did I say that he was fast? The painter that Todd works with was just as good at his job as well. His work was the icing on the cake. This is the second job that Todd has done for us and we are planning his next job!

It was a pleasure working with Todd, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Todd understood our vision and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The price was spot on what we were expecting to pay and less than other bids. What amazed us most is how efficiently and fast he works - by himself. Other carpenters we got bids from said they could do the job in 5-6 days with a helper and a big scaffolding setup. Todd did the job alone - just him and a ladder - in a day and a half. He moves fast - almost a run - the entire day. We had 1 minor fix to make after he left the job. I sent him an e-mail 7 AM Sunday morning. He replied at 7:20 AM and was at the house early afternoon the same day - a Sunday. Couldn't ask for better responsiveness. Todd is extremely professional. I learned a lot of carpentry by watching him work, too. Thank you, Todd.

Todd showed up at the agreed date and time and did a very professional job. The quality of materials and his attention to detail are excellent!I will definitely use Todd in the future.

Todd arrived on time , explained the procedure that he was going to do and got to work promptly . He worked in a methodical manner demonstrating that he has done this type of work many times before . He had all of the tools and supplies , on hand , that he needed to do the job . He kept the worksite neat and was quite courtious with a minimal amount of disturbance to our household . Todd completed the job in a day and a half and completely cleaned up the worksite and cutting area before leaving the first day as well as at the end of the job .He knew how to handle a problem when it arose and did so without fuss or frustation . He is not averse to going the extra mile inorder to satisfy his customer . He does quality work and is proud of it . We have many other carpentry projects coming up and will certainly use Todd for all of them !

After reading Angie's List review's we contacted Todd for ideas regarding wood window trim for newly replaced family room windows and a sliding glass door. We were also interested in discussing ideas for future crown molding work in several rooms. Todd explained our trim options of painted or stained trim and a couple of different wood choices. We decided on stained trim and set the appointment. We did experience one glitch in scheduling but Todd provided an alternative date that still met our desires to have the work completed prior to Christmas guest arrivals. Todd's window trim work is excellent. The stain matched the windows well, the corner seams are perfectly aligned and nice and tight. My husband came home and said "this is a man that enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work." We will definitely call Todd when it's time for more window trim. While we didn't really get the ideas for future crown molding work, when the time comes we will call Todd as we're sure we'll see the same quality work.

Conversed with Todd for a few days for appt., he was very flexible and accommodating, As other reviewers stated, Todd is a hard worker, very nice, and gets the job done, We really appreciated his work ethic. The crown looks absolutely beautiful and we are very happy with Todds workmanship! We were tired of getting friend and family referralse of tradesmen who in the end did horrible work on our house. So, we joined Angie's List and we are very happy with the results. We chose Todd to do our crown specifically from the opinions of Angies list members, We are so glad we did because Todd will for sure be our first call for any future wood working we need in our house!

This is the second time Todd came to do work on our home. He showed up a day late, then only worked for two hours before explaining that it would be sometime the next week before he could return.
