I am not able to locate my review, so here it is again from August 2022. QUOTE The technician showed up on a Tuesday and made a comment to the effect that he did not want to replace the Thermocoupler Sensor. He lit the Pilot Light and asked for his fee and left. After he left, within minutes the burner cycled off and the pilot light went out. I called the office and was told that he would return on Friday. We proceeded to light the Pilot and allow the burner to cycle through heating the water. He did not show up, he stated that he was not informed when he called back on Monday. He scheduled a time to come by on Tuesday. He arrived and stated that he was instructed to change out the Gas Control Valve. It failed to fix the problem he was unsuccessful to get the Pilot Light to light. Worst part was that he managed to break the original valve so that could not be re-installed. He said that he would need to get to the office but will be in touch. So then, we have NO hot water at all and my Grandkids were visiting, so no hot water for their baths. Wednesday we were contacted and were told that we would need a new water heater for an estimated cost of $1,800.00 and they would not continue in any way to attempt fixing the water heater. We told them to leave our house. We then contacted Okaloosa Gas District, who sent a technician out the same day. The technician came in and checked the water heater out. He then, in short order, proceeded to replace the Thermocoupler Sensor, lit the Pilot Light and watched for three cycles of the burner heating the water. The Pilot Light remained lit and they guaranteed that they would return if it failed again. After checking the water heater over, they stated that the unit was in great working order and would not to be replaced anytime soon. Willingham sent me a bill for the unnecessary part after they broke the original, charging me labor for the technician to break the original part and still did not have a working water heater. We will pay the bill just to end relations with them. We will never call them again or recommend them to anyone for anything. The worst thing was that someone in the office instructed the technician, who stated this to us, that the Gas Control Valve was the part requiring replacement without having seen the water heater. We were on vacation and returned home on a Wednesday to a flooded yard and a busted water pipe outside. Called Willingham (who we have done business with before) Thursday morning, 8/18/22, and was told they'd be there between 2:00 and 4:00 that afternoon. NO ONE ever showed up or called to let us know they wouldn't be able to make it. Called in the afternoon around 4:30 and received no answer. Tried calling again Friday morning after 8:00 AM, called three times within 30 minutes, and no one would answer their phone. Called another company and they said they'd be there between 11:00 and 2:00 that day. They showed up at 11:10 and the job was fixed and completed by 12:30. They were dependable, courteous, and knowledgeable. We won't be calling Willingham for repairs again---NOT dependable or responsive, and after reading some of the other reviews, many others won't be calling them back either.

Crew arrived on the date and time scheduled and performed a very professional installation. Very pleased with crew's expertise and the home office's friendly customer support.

They were able to come to my house the day after I called them. Showed up on time. I purchased the water heater from Home Depot so they were removing my old heater and installing the one I had bought. The installation was very professional. Cleaned up afterwards and did not leave a mess. Water heater is working as advertised.

The arrived same day for a leak that had been running over the weekend. Job was involved and they added two more crew later that day to move WH and its base and search for leak. Leak was found and repaired and they late in day and they were able to get us a replacement base to reinstall WH. Came out next day to finish some venting and flushed WH for no added charge.

Punctual and quality work for reasonable price. Price was far less than Benjamin Franklin. I have already recommended Willingham to my friends at EOD school.

Arrived early. Worked swiftly. Gave tips & information as to repair & how to avoid a future repeat of the same problem . Family owned 3rd generation, local business. Fast, friendly, reliable. Mike, Melinda and Jim are the BEST!

Mike does a great job! On time, listens to what needs to be done and goes right to work. Not sure how he prices his service, but it seems fair. Don't we all wish it was a little lower? We have used him many times through the years and have always been pleased!!

The receptionists are friendly enough, but not helpful. Only one can actually answer questions or solve problems, and the other ones just pass along messages to her. Callbacks are rare, so I had to keep calling back myself. We were happy enough after the first visit, when they augured the dishwasher drain line ($165). When the clog reappeared less than a month later, they referred us to a company to trace the line for the source of the problem. The company recommended replacing the pipe due to corrosion and marked the spot. After multiple attempts for follow up from Willingham, we scheduled the job. After the visit (at a rental so we weren't present), we found out they just augured the line again and didn't replace anything, and charged a higher fee than the first visit. Their office was two months delayed in sending the initial invoice, and it only came after I requested it several times. I have since been unable to get a callback regarding the inappropriately performed work. I will not call them again. It's not worth the hassle.

I was happy with the product, just way too expensive. I thought since I removed the old water heater and installed the new one in place, I would get a break on having someone connect the water and power lines. The technician was here for a little over and hour and he was unsure on which plumbing lines to connect and eventually figured it out?. I paid 275 dollars for what probably should have taken less than an hour to do. I will never use them again since they seem to be charging more than my MD.

Great. They found a problem another plumber overlooked

The entire experience was wonderful. Because he did not replace or repair anything, he refused to take any money. The whole thing was over in less than 15 minutes. Because of his honesty and customer service, I would use them again any time I had a plumbing problem.

I called and left a message before their opening time early in the morning. Someone called me back shortly after opening. The guys were here within 20 minutes. Looked at the problem. Fixed it. Explained to me what had happened and why. All done and gone by 9. They were friendly and professional. By the way - I had left messages with two other plumbers but they didn't call back until these guys were already here working.

I called Willingham Plumbing and scheduled an appointment. They said they would arrive between 12:00 and 1:00 PM. At 1:45 I called them and asked when would the plumber arrive, he's 45 minutes late. They asked me what type work I needed done which I thought was odd since I had told them what I needed when I made the appointment. I told them I needed some pipes moved. They said the plumber was on his way. I asked how long would it take for him to arrive. They told me 15 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes, no plumber, so I called again. I told them to cancel my appointment. I took off work to meet the plumber and would have liked either a phone call saying we're late, or can't make it. Instead I lost over 2 hours of work waiting for a plumber that never showed.

The work with good, but they always had to leave before it was finished. In their defense, there were surprises. But every time they came back it was another service call

The gentlemen were fantastic, arrived within the first 45 min of a 2 hour window, and the work was done quickly and professionally. My landlord paid for the services, so I can't speak for price, but I would recommend these guys any day.

Did a great job. Very professional without being stuffy. Good family run company who take a lot of pride in their work.

Cleared, but had to call them back to do it again one week later

Called for service this morning and someone came to repair the toilet within an hour and a half of my calling. Hunter did an excellent job. He was very cordial, professional, and thorough. He cleaned up every bit of the mess before he left.

Sewer drain line was replaced. The crew was efficient and careful with minimal household disruption. I was happy with the company overall and would use them for my future needs.

It must have been a very busy day but Willingham was the only plumber that would respond so I would not keep losing water. He said his man would come after his last job of the day and he got here around 3pm. He replaced the old shutoff valve and replaced it with a better set up so as to prevent problems in the future. He and his assistant worked quickly and did an outstanding job.

Showed up a bit late due to previous service call, but got right to work. Tried the less expensive ways to fix the problem, but it turned out I needed a new water heater. Since the existing one was 20+ years old, I couldn't really argue that. Called to see about the new one and when it would be available and gave me the estimate for all the work. Came back two days later and installed it. Pleasant and willing to discuss what he was doing and looked for less expensive alternatives. No issues and no drama.

We have a water filter system which was installed in 2008 in our home. (The water system is located in our garage) Based on the operator's manual from the manufacturer, the charcoal is to be is to be replaced every five years. We purchased the replacement items directly from the manufacturer who told us that and quot;anyoneand quot; could easily change the charcoal. We called Willingham Plumbing based on their current rating of and quot;Aand quot; on Angie's List as well as the previous owner left us records that Willingham Plumbing had installed the pipes and water filtration unit initially. The technician from Willingham Plumbing was apparently inexperienced in changing charcoal and the water filter. When he completed the job he provided us with the bill of $125 for labor (which we paid). He did not communicate with us regarding the job or what to expect. When we went to inspect his work, much to our disappointment we found black water puddles on the garage floor and evidence of charcoal water and charcoal residue on the garage wall. Black water stains were on items stored on shelves in the garage. We found black sand, rocks, charcoal and black water running down our driveway. In addition, we discovered we did not have water pressure when we turned on the water faucets. We immediately called Willingham Plumbing to let them know of our concern. The individual from Willingham who took our call said they would have the technician contact us. It has been one week now and no one as of yet has contacted us or followed up from Willingham Plumbing. We were able to eventually get our water pressure restored after 5-6 hours and of course, we cleaned up the horrible mess left by the Willingham technician in our garage and driveway. The technician should have told us what to expect if there was going to be a delay in the water resuming its standard pressure. Willingham Plumbing should have followed up with us after we called with our concerns and especially since they promised that we would be contacted by the technician.
