Mr. Tony Ray came to my home promptly at the appointment time to provide me an estimate. He was courteous and professional. He provided me options to fullfilling my vision. I went with another contractor because the shop was a lot closer to where I lived. The shop is basically the location where you can pick the cabinetry color and style, granite top, and cabinet pull handle styles. Plus if I had any issues, it felt more comfortable tracking down someone a lot closer since I know where they "lived". Tony's proposal was very close to the other three contractors I had bid on the projects, So it wasn't about price at that point but my piece of mind and convenience. I am confident Tony Ray's work would have been outstanding.

Called back 3 weeks later to inform me he was too busy and could not handle my job at this time. He did let me know he would be available early next year. Nice enough person, but a big disappointment.

Our balconies were in disrepair (rotting wood) and I requested quotes from multiple sources. Tony Ray Home's proposed approach was the best of the lot. Once his crew came onto the job, we were very impressed with their professionalism and workmanship. In addition to the exterior work, they had to remove portions of our interior ceiling to both extract the existing balconies and install new ones. His men were consistently on time and managed to clean up at the end of each day. -- I will now recommend Tony Ray Homes to anyone needing a contractor.

The backsplash is made of glass tile. Tony assessed the job and gave me an estimate. Mike came to do the work and was very professional. I was happy with the job.

Tony Ray Homes Inc. He came in and gave me an initial quote and the bank wanted it in a different format. Then we tried to go to a different route and the bank wanted it again in a different format. And all along, the whole time he's putting up with it and doing all the paperwork multiple times and he must have filled out paperwork five or six times and never complained once about it. And in the end I had to drop the contract on the house and he lost the business after all that time and trouble but if I ever had construction work or anything like that he'd be the first guy I'd call. It was a long protracted situation and ended out that I didn't buy the house and I spent a lot of money on inspections and different type of things and he was there the whole time. He ended up not getting any business out of it but he put a lot of time and effort into it and he was totally positive the whole time through it. There is really nothing bad I can say about him at all. No dislikes at all. Whenever I needed to get a hold of him all I had to do was call on his cell phone and he was there. If I needed something from him there I usually had it within a couple of days. So he was really responsive.

Tony Ray and his team were professional, polite, on-task and efficient. This was a big project, and Tony was in constant contact with us about all details every step of the way. He offered advice when asked, and had good ideas about how best to do things from a construction standpoint, but always deferred to us where design was concerned. We ended up adding several fairly major items to the to-do list along the way, but Tony took all changes in stride. Everything was completed in a timely manner and for the agreed-upon price. When mistakes were made they were remedied quickly, often at Tony's personal expense. Even though they were busy and Tony had guys working on several jobs simultaneously, either Tony or his son Matt was on our job site nearly every day. Tony is incredibly organized and it was such a relief to know that he was on top of our job. He has a big crew and a lot of details to manage, but he handles it all with excellent communication, organization, skill and professionalism. The work site was kept clean and neat throughout construction, and Tony even had the house professionally cleaned upon completion. We had a serious time deadline (we wanted to be moved in before our 4th child was born!) and Tony did a fantastic job for us. Bottom line: his work is quality and we trust him. We will DEFINITELY hire him again in the future.

I was not trying to meet any deadlines, but it took a while to get around to starting work once I contacted Tony. He was responsive at the start, but there were gaps of time when I was waiting to get the estimate, waiting for word of start date and then I had to request a delay of a week when it was time to start. There were family problems that he had to deal with which were out of his control and one gap in time was because he thought one of his subcontractors was going to contact me. However, once the work got started, the workers did a great job. They finished quickly and were very good about cleaning up. The house looks nice and I am happy with the work. We bid the stucco work separate from the painting and when the final invoice for stucco was presented, there was an extra charge on it. When I questioned it, I was told that a new office worker had made a mistake on the first estimate and that some of the extra lumber was not included. He suggested splitting the new charge which I agreed to. After painting, I realized that one change in the trim that I had agreed to wasn't what I wanted, but that was my decision and I made arrangements to make the change later, independent of Tony.

Tony Ray is wonderful. I have and will recommend him to everyone. The estimate process was quick and very fair. I needed to get the master bath remodeled before I could refinance and was on just over a two week deadline. Tony said that they could get it done in that time and they did. Matt and Steve were here daily, all sub-contractors came on time and did a great job as well. It was a treat to have Matt here working and watching over the project. I have never had a contractor tell me they were going to do something and actually do it as planned. With all projects there is always surprises and Matt stepped right in and made everything work out. I can not give enough praise to these guys. It actually was a great pleasure to have them come and do work in my home. They left the house very clean every evening and put everything away.

Overall, everything went as planned. No surprises. Very competent crew.

I contacted Tony Ray Homes and within a very short period of time all of the items were not only completed to my satisfaction, but also completed in a timely fashion and at what I believe was an extremely fair price.

I have worked with Matt Ray of Tony Ray Homes in the past for remodeling work and have been extremely pleased with the outcome. When it was time to replace old windows, slider, and entry door with upgraded hurricane rated products I contacted him for an estimate. Although his estimate was not the lowest I received I chose his company best of past experience. Again I was very pleased with the communication, he was also working with my tenant in the rental property, and the quality of work performed. Quick, quality, on time, and on budget. I will use this company again.

Tony Ray is a class act. I mean it. Tony Ray made me believe that a major contracting job can be done without pain. I've had personal experiences with horror-story contractors in the past (a drunk worker passed out on my fireplace, a gun & box of bullets left in my son's bedroom by a divorcing worker, a contractor physically intimidating me into paying more than the agreed-upon money... - real horror stores!) This time it was very different. I called three well-respected contractors for bids- Tony was the only one who came up with a great solution to a major concern with my renovation. I wanted to expand a room in an older house and enclose a porch, but make it solid and hurricane-proof. The two other contractors told me that I would have to have poles or partial walls in the middle of the new room, for roof support. On his initial visit, Tony was able to envision putting an I-beam in the ceiling that would eliminate the need for central supports and allow me to have a big open room without central poles or walls. Tony kept in contact with us through the whole process, always responded to calls or emails and his men and subcontractors alwasy cleaned up after themselves. They were respectful of our property. The price was reasonable for the work done. He did extra work that I thought of along the way in other parts of the house. Once we got the permits, he was quick to complete the job, and always explained any delay, even of a day or two. Tony and his son Matt are a great couple of guys. My best friend did a renovation just before we did ours, on her own house, used another company, and told me at the end of our renovation that she wished she had gone with Tony Ray. I am a busy physician running two medical businesses and Tony allowed me to have the time and energy to devote to other things, rather than worrying about what my contractor was up to. Thanks, Tony.

I was very impressed with him. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves. He explained paint options to me, and suggested the correct paint finish for the job. I met with him in November and set everything up. While painting he noticed some little things that needed replaced. He replaced them and didn't charge me for it. I have him coming back once I'm back in Florida to assist with other projects.

Tony responded very quickly to my request for a quote,showing up within a couple of days. As I was not at the condo, my mother let him in and showed him the work we need to have done. She was very impressed by his professionalism and I am sure will be hiring him if she needs work done on her condo. The quote can back with a day or so and was very competive with the other qoutes I recieved.

I dealt with Tony's son, Matt. He was very professional. He and his crew showed up when they were expected. He offered his opinion when asked and was generally very kind. The room turned out beyond my expectations. I will be using his services again.

I will never go with any other company and would recommend Tony Ray to every person I meet. They stuck to their timeline, were very honest, never cut corners, were great communicators and were always courteous. We many many changes along the way and never received push back or resistance. They went well beyond what was necessary, even taking the time to pet our dog to make her comfortable with them working outside! Their work is amazing. They are absolute perfectionists and really looked out for our best interests when it came to selecting flooring, etc. They were honest and always let us know the next step in the process. They have exceeded our expectations! I absolutely recommend them for anyone looking to have work done on any size project.

He gets five stars plus; we were very happy with the outcome. I would give him an A+ for everything. I have been very impressed with him and I would highly recommend him.

They were very detailed in gathering requirements, needs, and desires. The notice that Tony was not going to bid because he became very busy was very prompt and MUCH appreciated! I want quality work done on a realistic schedule with no corners cut and I am willing to wait for it and pay for it. And, that he notified me of this promptly was also of GREAT value so I was not waiting around waiting for the phone to ring wondering what happened. So, this says to me that Tony Ray and an excellent, and extremely professional, business man. In the end, we had to postpone the remodel for our own reasons so I will definitely be calling Tony Ray when we are able to schedule it. The bid and design from Heller Cabinets was prompt, professional and very competitive. The design showed that Steve listened to what we wanted and incorporated everything. So, while we have not had the pleasure of working together, I still will nominate them for Pages of Happiness if I am allowed due to the excellent communication, courtesy and professionalism I encountered.

Tony was very accommodating, and his team did excellent work. They showed up and finished on time even though I added some extra repair work when they showed up. The stucco repairs and drywall work look great.

Overall job went very well and we are very pleased with the results of our new gourmet kitchen, bath, and den.

Tony and his crew worked in our little home in Cocoa Beach during the summer of 2011 and then again in May 2012. Overall experience A+. Professional, clean, on time, once the job was completed i found the home in impeccable condition.What he estimated was correct in terms of costs and timing. Excellent follow up, always available. My questions were replied on time and even traveling we would communicate via email every day so i knew how things were going on.Complete trust to Tony as his crew. He did the jobs without us being at home and we never ever felt worried, we knew we were in the hands of excellent professionals.Next year we will continue with other improvements and we will use them again, i do not need to bother quoting around, it was a hassle/worry free experience.
