We were recommended to Todd via our realtor and are so happy that we did. We have bought 4 different homes in the area over the years and Todd has been the most professional, prompt and easy to deal with Home Inspector to date. We were in a rush situation to meet a deadline, due to my own forgetfulness, and Todd was very quick to help and able to fit us in the same week, in this case with a one day turn around. Todd was professional and very detailed and took time to answer questions and give insight regarding repairs that needed to be made on this home. We will definately be recommending Todd to our Family and Friends. And BTW, I am an experience manager for a family owned direct to consumer pet company with over 2000 customer interactions per day min. so when I say good, professional service all the way around, I don't say that about too many! Todd was very nice in letting me listen in to what he was finding at their house. He was knowledgeable and his suggestions and tips were easy to understand. He was extremely thorough in that he not only covered the issue at hand but made suggestions on other general maintenance that could be addressed. I learned a lot from him. As he finished up with their house he even offered to come on over to mine to take a look at it. I was very impressed with him going above and beyond with what he actually needed to do. He also finished up with emails offering the name of the product I needed and pointing out a sale that was going on this weekend! I wasn't even his client and he wrote me directly!! Impressive!!

Todd performed an inspection on a house that we are in the process of purchasing. If you are looking for a home inspection then don't look any further than Todd at Frontline. Can't say enough good things about the inspection process and Frontline. Todd conducted a detailed and thorough inspection. After Todd completed the inspection he took us around the property and explained all of his findings to us. We also received via email a full report with detailed pictures and explanations. Todd is very Professional and I would definitely use his company again.

Todd Johnson performed the inspection. He was professional, timely and thorough. Checks included all major appliances, a/c unit. plumbing, electrical, windows and doors walls, ceiling, floors and the grounds. Everything was photo documented. He went over his findings and pointed out some things that needed attention. I also received a complete written report with photos, issues and suggestions.

Todd was early to the job and professional throughout. It starting pouring after he was done with the inspection while giving us a walk through of issues found. He patiently waited under the screened porch with us until the rain slowed down so he could actually show us any issues not just talk through them. He was very thorough with the inspection and terrific in educating us about the issues. He gave us a wonderful written report within 24 hours.

Responded to e-mail request for appointment within 24 hours by e-mail. Appointment booked at his earliest available slot. I declined the upsell on the termite inspection as the home is on a scheduled service. Todd showed up 15 minutes early. Inpection lasted about an hour and a half. Provided a detailed report by e-mail late that same evening which included photos of all areas of concern. Having been through this process multiple times previuosly, I knew about what to expect him to look at. He exceeded my expectations in most areas, fell short in one: I knew the dryer vent in the wall was completely jammed up which is a potential fire hazard. There was no mention of that in his report. Fortunately there wasn't much to find which is what I was hoping. Prior to the inspection Todd pulled county records to verify permits pulled for roof and AC and work was performed by a qualified contractor. That impressed me. Spent considerable time around the outside of the property checking roof vents, structural integrity of gutters, pointed out potential tree root issue, even located a disconnected downspout quite well burried in the shrubs. I heard him in the attic in multiple areas of the home. He didn't just stick his head up there and tell me I had an attic... pointed out specific areas with minor insulation issues. Interior inspection was thorough. He cycled all appliances and lights. Checked for leaks/ceiling staining even in closets. Checked for soft spots in the drywall on tile in the tub/shower (i.e. the grout integrity). Report showed differences between today's (2014) construction standards, and those in place in 1986 when the home was built. Home to code when built and gave specific areas to watch and maybe bring up to today's drainage standards to avoid longer term issues. Specifically flat spots in stucco exposed to rain with inadequate drainage. Overall I found him trustworthy and would use his services again. The last thing you want to do is put a house on the market and have the prospective buyer find issues you were unaware of.....

We found Todd through our realtor. He was prompt and very thorough with his inspection. Come to find out the cute little bungalow just off of Bayshore Blvd that looked like all it needed was a fresh coat of paint, as well as a kitchen and bathroom facelift, was unfortunately a NO GO. Todd walked us through all of the issues he found with the house, explaining every detail (with plenty of pictures I might add). The house was literally falling apart - no thanks to the termites that whittled the structural beams down to toothpicks. Once we had a moment to digest the information, Todd took the time to give us some pointers on spotting potential problems with future prospects. He spent a good 20-30 minutes going through a list of easy to spot "red flags." That night he sent us an email with all the pictures he had taken and a report on the inspection. Our initial contact with Mr. Johnson was very pleasant. He was very professional, asked specific questions to gain an understanding of what we needed and was very accommodating to our timeline. Mr. Johnson contacted us when he was on his way to the appointment and during the appointment made sure that he explained what was being done and why he was doing it. Mr. Johnson completed the inspection, explained his findings and provided an estimate as to when the report would be completed; exceeded that expectation. The next day I had a detailed report including images of all the items that needed to be fixed and the stability of the home. Not only did he send the report ahead of the expected date but he also followed up to ensure that I received the report and extended his assistance if we had any questions. I recommend Frontline Property Inspections for a home inspection. The owner / inspector, Mr. Todd Johnson, was accommodating and professional. The price I listed included the $85.00 termite inspection and was discounted the $20.00 I saved with a coupon from Angie's List. The Inspection report was easy to understand and comprehensive. At my request Mr. Johnson recommended an electrician and a general contractor. I am happy with the service and I recommend Frontline Property Inspections.r

The sellers of a home we put an offer on accepted with contingency that we could get a home & termite inspection done within a week. I came to Angie's list & contacted three highly rated inspectors via messaging to see if this would be possible. Fortunately, Todd at Frontline had a cancellation on the upcoming Thursday morning & could take the job. He pointed me to his website which was very informative. On the morning of the inspection, Todd was there before our 8:30 am appointment. The owner was working from her home office so he started his inspection there so she would be undisturbed for client calls as he did his inspection. The inspection took a few hours and it was very thorough. He had another gentleman come out to do the termite inspection portion of the job. Todd told my husband & I the areas of greatest concern and assured us that on the whole, the house was well maintained and as long as we kept it maintained we should be in good shape. He gave us advice on frequency of painting, how to ensure that stucco is appropriately patched and of the age and expected life of the appliances that would come with the house. He sent us a detailed report later that same night with detail on each section of the house, a summary of issues that need addressed and photos that corresponded to each area of concern. We were very pleased by the professionalism and thoroughness of Todd's work. Hopefully we don't have any surprises once we move in, but we feel confident that we know the issues and have asked the seller to do appropriate repairs prior to closing.

Todd did an excellent job performing our home inspection. I arrived towards the end of the inspection and he provided walk through of some key area he wanted to point out and answered any questions I had. That evening I received a very detailed inspection report detailing everything he found during the day and pictures. I would defiantly use his services again.

Todd was very professions in every stage of this inspection from first call to follow up. His report was emailed to me within hours of it's completetion. Todd was already on the roof when I pulled up at our 9 AM appointment. I had previously looked at this home and he pointed out things that I had overlooked. He was thorough throughout, spent additional time talking to me about recommendations for fixing most problems. A professional 23 page report followed the same night, included pictures to point out defiencies. I highly recommend Todd and his service. Tod was able to respond on very short notice (next day) and was very thorough. His 15 page report with several pages of photos arrived via email the next morning. He went the extra mile in dealing with a difficult situation which required him to return on a subsequent day to access a portion of the property which could not be seen during the originally scheduled inspection time.

After owning and selling a couple of homes at this point in our lives, we can honestly say that Todd provided the most thorough home inspections we've been involved with (from the buyor or seller side of the equation). He spent time walking us through his findings and answering our questions without being rushed. He was great! Would recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector.

Todd performed a detailed home inspection for me. He really enjoys inspecting homes and you can see it in his work. The report was very organized and easy to understand. He provides pictures in the report and gives you a detailed walk through on his findings while at the home. After the inspection, he will assist you with any follow up questions you may have. We thought Todd had done a good job at the time and was very professional, and still think what he did was acceptable, but since moving into the home we have had several plumbing and pool issues. In retrospect, I should have probably hired an electrician/HVAC person, plumber, and pool inspector. It was not that Todd did a bad job, in fact I was quite pleased with the report he submitted to us; but he did not have the background for completing the inspection for several items that we've had issues with since moving into our home. In particular, the pool was not working properly, which we did not find out until we closed on the home. However, Todd did tell us that he was unable to do a complete inspection as he was unfamiliar with the Salt System - we blame the home owners, since they should have disclosed that the pool was not working properly. Unfortunately, we are still having plumbing issues...again, not Todd's fault, as even I could tell there were issues before we closed, but we've had a plumber and handyman both come to the house and still have not resolved these issues. If I could have afforded both Todd and a specialist in each of the specific areas listed above I would have done so...and will probably hire area specialists with my next home that I purchase. Again, I think Todd did fine with his background for a general home inspection, unfortunately, by not finding out some of the items described above, it has cost us several thousand dollars to fix these items after the fact. The only reason I would not use him again would be because I would hire more service specific individuals to inspect my home (i.e., electrician, plumber).

Todd arrived on time and did a detailed inspection as per our discussion. He later walked around the property and showed the areas of concern. He answered all my questions adequately.

O We hired Todd to do a home inspection on a foreclosed home we were attempting to purchase. Todd was wonderful and very honest with us. He saved us from buying a house that we would have later regretted. He did avery thorough inspection and walked us through different areas of the house that showed concern. He arrived earlier than expected and finished the job quickly. We even had the report e-mailed to us by that evening. My husband and I highly recommend Frontline Inspections and will be using them again in the near future.

I found Frontline Property Inspections here on Angie's list and felt confident that I would get a quality inspector. I was amazed at just how far they exceeded my expectations. Todd was incredible, knowledgable, thorough and extremely detailed with his report and explanations. We were looking to purchase a home built in 1926 so we knew we would have some items to repair. However Todd was able to locate issues and problems that we never would have seen prior to closing. He identified electrical & Plumbing issues that saved us thousands of dollars prior to close on the property. We needed to receive the inspection report on the same day as the inspection and knowing this Todd went the extra mile and produced the report that same day. This was an extensive inspection and due to the age of the home it was quite large but he came through with flying colors. We received the report and were able to present this to the seller and negotiate a better price on the home and have the repairs included. This was an amazing experience and I am 100% satisfied with the professionalism, punctuality and detailed reports that were provided in such a short period of time. We hired Frontline to do an inspection on a home we are purchasing. Todd was able to visit the property with just a couple day's notice.
