The owner/refinisher, Pat, arrived at the appointed time and was very courteous, personable and professional. He did an excellent job refinishing tubs in our two bathrooms, completing the work within the time window he told us to expect. Pat was very considerate of our property; he was careful to come into and out of the house (carrying tools and supplies) without marring any floors or furnishings. Using what appeared to be a canvass barrier, he shielded his work in the bathrooms from the rest of the house and ventilated to the exterior. The end result: the bathrooms and the rest of the house showed no discernable dust or residue generated by his work. In short, Pat did a great job at a fair price.

Pat was on time, actually 15 min early. He is very friendly and worked diligently to complete job in a timely manner. He even went above and beyond to fix a tile for me in the other bathroom. Gave me a referral for my shower.

Pat arrived here exactly when he said he would and worked steadily till he finished 4 hours later. He had told me previously in my initial phone call that he would likely be unable to match the blue on my 22 year old tub and that to cover the chip, it would be better to reglaze the whole tub. He taped off the tile around the tub, taped the fixtures, put plastic sheeting all around the bathroom. He said the process would be noisy so we were prepared. But we were not prepared at how beautiful the tub looked when Pat finished. It looked better than it had when it was new. Pat carefully explained the length of time we had to wait to use it, what to look for if there were problems, and how to care for the tub. We did find an area that needed extra attention, Pat returned right after I called him and fixed that area - free of charge. Pat is professional, friendly, and knew how to work around our curious cat.

Pat the owner, came the next day after I called and was right on time. He gave me an estimate on the phone. When he arrived, he explained what he could do and I told him to proceed. He did a very good job and you could not see where the spot had been when he finished. He was a very pleasant person to deal with and his price was very competitive. It was less than he had quoted me on the phone. I would certainly call him again if I had other work to do.

Fantastic! Patrick kept in communication from start to finish. He was honest and forthright. He arrived as scheduled, performed the work, and cleaned up the workspace(s) before leaving. Although our sinks were in fairly good shape for their age, just needed update, our bathtub had some major rust stains and two large chips (quarter size) on the bottom. Additionally, a "faux finish" had been applied to the outside of the tub & the color was one shade from hideous. The repairs to the tub interior were amazing. No one would dream it looked as bad as it did. As for the exterior, the transformation is amazing. We wont have to keep the shower curtain permanently drawn any longer!

Patrick was hired to fix a tub that was ruined by a handyman who applied a cheap epoxy product. I was quite upset when I called him and in tears!. He was so compassionate and professional.... he drove an hour to come by the same day just to take a look at my tub to see if he could fix it. He told me he could repair it so I made an appointment for his services. On the day of the appointment, he arrived promptly and did an outstanding job! I would definitely recommend his services! :-)

Previous tenant had painted tub. It took Pat almost 2 hours to remove old paint and restore to original finish. He then glazed tub and it now looks like a new tub.

I hired Patrick to reglaze my bathtub after my sister had used him. He is amazing! Patrick has a great personality and is very outgoing. He was a pleasure to have in my home and his price was very good.

I had an old Harvest Gold Tub and Surround re-glazed to Koler White. The tile and tub in a guest bath were in great condition and had been tiled the "old fashioned" way with about 2 inches of cement over lathe and plaster so I was reluctant to rip it all out. Re-Glazing seemed to be a viable alternative. I got a good quote for a fairly simple glaze job and was very pleased with how it turned out and enjoyed working with Pat the owner. They were fast and professional. Looks terrific and I guess time will tell if the glaze holds up or not. I'd use Chrystal Glaze again for any glaze job I come up with. I think they could do just about anything I might need.

Raising five children and having tubs that were old that have been scrubbed so much that the finish wore off and did not look clean even though they were. Our home is thirty years old and it is difficult and expensive to remove and replace a tub. We chose the option of getting them refinished. Looking through the BBB and Angie's List almost all of the providers were either out of business, not local or had poor ratings. I found Crystal Glaze of Tampa combined with the listing of Crystal Glaze of Longwood, Florida which is north of Orlando. Both locations are individual private contractors. The Tampa provider, Pat Dejesus, was very friendly and offered a discount for two tubs. His normal charge at the time was $250 per tub. He told me he backs up his work and to call him if I had any questions or problems. We did have one or two "bumps" in both tubs. He said no problem and returned at no charge. The one tub he sanded down the bump and the second tub HE was not happy with and redid the whole thing. Refinishing your tub is not something you usually brag about but we were very happy with Pat as a person and his finished work. Most people just replace them but being retired with a fixed income this fit our budget.
