FIRE STINES PAINTING

Firestine's Painting was recommended to us by a friend. They did a great job for them. John Sr. showed up on time to give us an estimate. He was easy to talk to and very informative. The price was similar to others, but his description of the prep work and painting seemed more thorough than others. We scheduled a time a few weeks later that turned out to be just after one of the storms. John made every effort to work with us even though the schedule was thrown off a bit. He came the day before to get paint samples and double check arrangements. Cody, assisted by Mike showed up the next morning to begin the power washing. They did a great job cleaning and exposing all the areas that needed further attention. The next day they began scraping, patching and calking. They repaired lots of old bolt holes, chips in block, calked the whole house. The painting went well after such great preparation. Cody and Mike were very professional. Great communication. Explained what they were doing when asked. Addressed little issues as they came up. They took pride in their work. I recommend a raise for Cody and Mike! I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

As of September 5, 2013, Mr. Firestein has failed to follow-up with an estimate or any subsequent contact despite several calls and messages. This firm presented a great first impression and a terrible final impression! I strongly recommend not using Firestein's Painting if you are looking for dependable responsive craftsmen.
