Description of Work: He abandoned the job after he took $55k from me. I am disabled with a brain injury and he took full advantage of it. He also left my pool empty for four months that I fell into and fractured my shoulder.

On January 26, 2015 I signed a contract with Shawn Patacsil (owner/operator) of Aquatic Playground, LLC for a $54,000. renovation to my pool and pool deck. He assured me he would have my job completed in 2 weeks since he would send his "best crew" out to get the work done. He showed up two days later and placed a pump (with an extension cord) onto my patio deck area and left with now communication for 2 months despite me calling him every day. He required a $25,000 down payment, which was given to him. He later took advantage of me and required more money to get materials he said needed to be shipped in to complete the job. I had to pay his only sub-contractor (who I later found out does not have a license) in excess of $5,000.00 so a lien would not be placed on my home for materials he ordered. This sub did not show up until late March and left my pool empty until filled in July. There is a long detailed story regarding his professional service which he did not provide listed on the BBB that can be read. If you want to be ripped off, he is your man. I would not let this man do anything with my property, he does not have a crew since he does not pay his sub-contractors. He advertises big and is a good "scam artist", but he will not perform and will walk off with your money. Additionally, he is under investigation with the Department of Professional Business License Dept. in Tallahassee, FL since in addition to his lack of performance......he is operating under a license that he is not affiliated with. He is truly a red-neck ponzy. Please review yelp and BBB and Craigs List if in doubt of what I am saying. I lost $50,000.00 on my dealings with him and was physically threatened by him...on my own property.
Description of Work: Left me with an empty pool for over 41/2 months, abandoned the worksite, trashed my yard and threatened to hit me in the head with a shovel.
