I own and operate Decluttered by Deb in Treasure Island, FL. I serve the surrounding areas. I have been decluttering people for 30 years and 15 years ago decided to turn my passion into a business. With my help you can get organized and decluttered. Together we can organize your Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Closets, Toy Room, Library, Basement, Storage Room, Attic, Garage or Home Office. We can also work on Paper Management and Filing Systems. If you are Moving or Relocating, I can help! I work M-F, 8-6pm. I have a 3 hour minimum and charge $50 an hour.

Fantastic!!
Description of Work: Deb arrived right on time to help me organize the garage for my husband's birthday. She made what felt like a daunting task easy by breaking it all down little by little. Before I knew it, we had gone through our whole four stall garage and found a place for everything. She even helped organize the work bench....sorting nuts and bolts to get them in the right drawers! I ran to Target once to get more storage bins so that like items could be grouped together for easy access. We hung ranks to get all of the brooms, rakes, and shovels up off the floor and out of the way. I will definitely use Deb again for my next organizing project!

Description of Work: I recently retired and my house had 20 years of accumulated clutter at something near pack rat level. I hired Deb to assist.. She has come several times starting in October .. The project (whole house including packed attic and basement) is nearly done. Deb has been great. She helped me get rid of van loads and hugh recyling loads. Better yet she has helped me get organized. My intuition and skills in the area of organizing were quite limited. The project seemed hugh and doing it felt insurmountable to me. I have learned a great deal from Deb.. I did some of the work on my own and , having worked with Deb a few times, I was able to organize much better than I would have been able to earlier. I am feeling pretty confident about being able to maintain order in the future. I know where to find stuff. This alone will help prevent future clutter because I had dupicates of many things that I forgot I had bought or could not find. As noted in other reviews, Deb is devoted to keeping stuff out of land fills. She loads her large van with items that are reusable and drops them at Savers, Goodwill, etc. She will also work with you if you want to sell some of your items. For me selling stuff was not worth the hassle. I am glad things that I no longer need will be useful to someone else instead taking up landfill space.. Regarding price, Deb charges $50 per hour. That sounded on the high side to me at first. Now I believe she is well worth it. Deb works like the Energizer Bunny and gets a lot done in the time spent. Deb also has a very pleasant personality, helped keep me motivated and never came across as judging the state my house was in when we started out. She makes suggestions about what to keep or throw/give away. I am very pleased with how much I have gotten out of here. However the final decision is always mine. I am so happy that I have done this (with Deb's help). I loved this house when I moved into it and now I am loving it again. I am looking forward to having a number of adventures in retirement. and came to realize that I needed to have my house be the house I want to live in order to thouroughly enjoy this time in my life. .

I could not have done this without Deb's support. Not only did she have great ideas -- she had boundless energy -- and helped keep me motivated over the many weeks it took us to get through everything. She also had wonderful ideas of who could use my unneeded items -- took the items to these places -- and made sure I got tax receipts. I can't adequately express my level of gratitude for her support -- and the HUGE difference having a clean / presentable home has made in my life.
Description of Work: Totally organized my home from top to bottom. It was a cluttered mess because I had been physically unable to take care of it for many years.

Deb arrived on schedule and together we dove in and started with the first pile. 5 hours later the piles where gone, the filing system created, and I can see the desk again. What a treat having someone to help work through this mess. Deb gave great suggestions, brought along helpful tools and best of all didn't make me feel like a loser for getting into this mess. Only downside, my paper shredder is asking for a big raise!
Description of Work: I had a mountain of home papers and general disorder to try and tackle. I had made several attempts on my own and either ran out of energy or just became overwhelmed by the size of the project.

It went great... we accomplished so much in a day and a half (10 hours). She went through my house with me, explained how she worked and then got down to it. I still have a lot more organizing to do, and I will likely call on Deb again. I have to take a break to focus on my contract work for a few weeks.
Description of Work: Deb helped me to organize an office space. She helped me clean out a closet, put up shelving and found a discount office furniture place to locate a reasonably priced lateral cabinet. She even helped me get it into my office. She does all of the heavy lifting... all you have to do is think.

Deb was fast, efficient, professional, decisive and provided excellent guidance without being pushy. She also went above & beyond by providing many helpful tips & info, called ARC to arrange a pickup of donation items and provided some items (like boxes & baskets).
Description of Work: Organizing storage/pantry/laundry room, closets and kitchen.
