Tom & Jerry's Pest Control is the local expert for house tenting. Many of the other local pest control businesses out-source this activity. Why pay a middle man?

I looked throughout the Central Florida region via Angie's List, internet, etc. Every single supposed termite pest control company wanted to treat the furniture with what I call "topical ointments". One major company did - to no avail. Didn't work. That clued me to the fact that anything short of fumigation WILL NOT WORK. I then searched for fumigation services. Well, there aren't very many that do it. One so called "Fumigation Service" wouldn't return my calls and when I went there - it looked like a "fly by night operation". I moved on. I went back to the list and personally called every single purported provider of fumigation service to see if they can fumigate furniture. I also kept asking every single service provider if they did their own work. All I got was "we will be glad to come in a treat the furniture" (hence the topical ointment moniker) or we don't do that. WE DON'T DO THAT? What? No! They have a sub-contractor do it for them! Well I wanted to find out who that contractor was. I finally got someone (receptionist, I think) of one of the many purported fumigation service companys to tell me who that sub-contractor was. She probably shouldn't have told me but I am glad she did. She told me that they have Tom and Jerry's Pest Control over in North Titusville/Mims do their fumigation work. TAAA - DAAAA!!! I called and spoke to who turned out to be the wife of Jerry/mother of Tom. Absolutely amazed that this type of company exists in this cut-throat world. Yes, this is a "family run" business. And yes, it is run well. I could not have been any more happy. Her husband took the time to promptly call me back ) on a Saturday, no less to go over the task. He even came by my home to look at the pieces needing fumigation. The deal was struck. I yarded the furniture out and put it in to a enclosed trailer and drove it over to their facility and dropped it off. Two days later, I picked it up. All done. I can not tell you how enjoyable it is to work with a professional, ethical, family based company. My dealings with Tom and Jerrys Pest Control were a complete success.

We had bought another house for my son and his kids to live in, but we didn't realize until the tenants had moved out that the house was infested with bedbugs. It was huge infestation. They put a tent over it just like they do for termites, but the gas that they pump into the house to kill the bedbugs is 10 times stronger than what they use to kill termites. That was almost 2 years ago and my son has not seen a bedbug since. They gave a discount for their service, so the price was fair. They were thorough, professional and very quick to respond. I really appreciated that they got rid of the bedbugs which were everywhere. They got rid of them the first time around. This service came with a warranty, that if we saw anything within the next 30 days, then they would come back out for free.

It was a little rocky. They were not able to start until 10 a.m. They were suppose to arrive at 8 a.m. So, we had to stay two nights in a motel room. Which was a surprise for us, because of the extra money. My mom is in a wheelchair. It was a challenge with the motel room. Even though the room was set up for handicapp, The bathroom didn't fit a wheelchair. We worked with Jerry and he is a really nice man. Very helpful and caring. All in all, we were pleased with the service and the final outcome. I would recomment them for all your bug problems.

Spraying worked well every time except for once(ants came back), but they came back immediately when we called and sprayed for ants again with good results. We have had them for 3 yrs.

I had left a message and they never returned the call

I called several companies including Tom and Jerry's Pest Control asking for estimates. I eventually spoke to Jerry and got the lowest estimate, about $1200.00. I liked Jerry from the start. He was very down to earth and personable. I explained the problem. He said he would be at my house that same evening (I called about 3 pm.) . He showed up about 2 hours later even though I live in Orlando and he is based in Titusville. He took his measurements, then sat down with me and explained the procedure. He said the final cost would be $1,210.00. I agreed. He then took me through out the house and pointed out all the food items and medicines that had to be sacked up in the cellophane bags. He provided the bags, which he brought with him. He even offered to help me sack the items. I decided to sack the items myself, but I had trouble tying the twist-ties because of arthritis in my right hand. I called Jerry and explained the arthritis situation. He said to just leave them untied and he would do it himself, which he did. I really appreciated his help. I left the house on April 4th at about 9 a.m. and checked into a hotel for 2 days. Jerry and his helpers came after I had left and treated the house. They put a tent completely around the house and infused the whole place with vikane gas. The gas is lethal and penetrates every inch of the house, including the wood and the refrigerators. The doors and drawers have to be left open for complete penetration of the gas. Fortunately, the gas leaves no residue and dissipates after approximately 2 days depending on the size of the house. I came back home on April 6th. The house was bed bug free and I haven't seen any live ones in the 10 days since my return. There is no such thing as a pleasant bed bug experience, but Tom and Jerry's helped to make the experience less distressful. They did an excellent job and Jerry is great to work with.

They come every three months. They spray inside and outside the house for roaches and bugs and take care of them. I would continue to use them in the future.
