I feel bad to leave this review cause Chris was such a nice guy and professional when he came even on a Sunday to do the work. Had every outlet changed since this is an old home. His work was great. But left unfinished. We agreed to finish up the work during the week. After about 5 unreturned calls I am not sure what to make of it.

The owner, Chris, came to assess my electrical needs on his way home from a full day of work. One of the main installations was for an outside motion detector light in front of my garage. The other jobs were the updating of 3 recessed lights to LEDs (Chris' suggestion); and I had a ceiling plate that had never been opened, above my fireplace, which needed a recessed light if it was a working outlet. Chris was extremely punctual and knowledgeable. He was kind, funny and trustworthy. (As a single woman, the feeling of trust and comfort is very important to me.) As I mentioned before, Chris came later in the day the first time to give me an estimate, but volunteered to go ahead and replace my motion light as I already had the part. It was getting dark so I declined. The next day when he arrived to do all of the work, I was pleased that he was punctual and had all of the recessed lights that he said he would bring with him. Not only did Chris do the job in record time but he vacuumed after himself to clean up whatever mess he made. Also, he said he had a little more time and asked if he could help me with anything else. He noticed some boxes I had sitting out (Christmas tree, ornaments, etc..) and offered to put them in the attic for me. Which he did and also tightened up the screws on my attic stairs as well! I've recommended him to others and have another job lined up for him. I was very pleased and impressed with Chris. HIGHLY recommend!

I called twice (left a message for a call back the first time) and second time talked to the electrician who said they might be able to meet me after work. I didn't get a call back saying they could or couldn't meet me - and, could never get ahold of them again. It was ok if we scheduled or re-scheduled later as I was not expecting to get on the schedule right away. I called three or four more times throughout the next week requesting a call back to schedule an appointment. Hoping they were simply on vacation or maybe some of my messages had been garbled. I never got a return phone call. If they were too busy and didn't want to schedule an appointment, I would have appreciated a message stating that was so. I wasted a week patiently waiting to hear back from them. I am hoping there was some external or technical issue that has been resolved. So, I may try again in the future.

The company president, Chris Hood, assessed the work to be done and gave me the estimate. He returned to perform the work in a timely manner. In spite of performing extra work that was not a part of the estimate, he did not charge extra. In addition, some screws had been falling out of my storm door that I keep trying to make stay in. They popped loose again when Chris used the door, and he repaired it for me, again at no extra charge. I highly recommend Chris Hood as an electrician.
