Description of Work: I contacted J. R. on June 6th about 10am via his cell phone, which was answered promptly. I explained that I had a set of exterior doors that I had purchased and needed to be installed on a 2nd story patio. He told me that he would be there in 2 hours. The phone rang in 2 hours and it was J.R. informing me that he would be about 30 minutes late, due to the job he was on taking a little longer than he planned. When he arrived he apologized and surveyed the job to be done. He gave me a quote and said he could do it the next day. It was agreed and he came the next morning with his son as helper. The job took about 5-6 hours and was done professionally with everything cleaned up, old items removed, and trash taken away. As a result of this professionalism, I had a ceiling patch to be fixed from a roof leak and the patio had to be resealed. Description of Work: I have given JR Home Improvements a contract to paint the interior of the house, but it was not a good experience. There were lots of spots missing after he finished his job. So I mentioned it to him, and he said he would take care of it. So he and his son came in and took care of the problem areas, but overall I was expecting an excellent service from his company which i didn't. He painted my garage too, but if you look at it, you would say it is a very bad job. I will suggest please don't trust people because they are from Angie's List. Do your homework look at the job while they are there and negotiate the price.

Description of Work: The day they were supposed to do I had to reschedule. They came and it started raining. They came back again on Saturday and pressure washed the side of but they didn’t get the gutters cleaned out very well and the didn’t flush them out. They had to come back twice because they didn’t have the materials to do so.
