Description of Work: Inspector performed a home inspection. He showed up on time. Took off his shoes inside the house. Was quiet, respectful, and thorough. At the beginning he asked if I had any specific concerns about the property. He took the time to explain things to me as he went through the home. I felt very comfortable. My inspection report was detailed, and arrived via email the following morning. The photographs in the inspection report were very helpful. All in all, I would not for one minute hesitate to recommend Greg Bell of Bell Inspections.

Description of Work: WHAT DID HE NOT PREFORM IN HIS INSPECTION. THE GUY IS EXCELLENT. SECOND TIME I HAVE USED HIM. IN MY OPINION HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND IN HIS INSPECTION. THE FIRST HE SAVED US FROM BUYING A TERMITE INFESTED APARTMENT WHICH HE SAW FROM THE OUTSIDE.

Description of Work: I used Angies list to find Bell Inspection. Greg, the owner, is a thorough professional. I would say the best in the business. We got the pre-home buy inspection done. Greg described the process and took his time to do the inspection. Once he was done he detailed his findings and explained all the concerns. The next day he sent out the detailed report with all the findings exactly as he described. I was also pleasantly surprised that he seemed very tech savvy. Helped me with followups and with followups, he was very prompt. He went above and beyond the call of duty and was always very responsive. If I were buying house again in central Florida, I will use his service again.

+ -1 moreI picked Bell Inspections off a list from our realtor. They were fairly helpful over the phone. The inspection was done in a timely fashion, but done very poorly. In particular, the inspector wrote up that our house only had a 100 amp breaker box, which would have disqualified us for most insurance carriers. A second inspection revealed that the breaker box in question was a sub-panel. The 200 amp box was outside next to the electrical meter. We also paid an additional $75 for a termite inspection. The inspector informed us that rotted wood would have to be replaced in order for him to do a termite inspection (the second inspection was thoroughly completed with the wood in place). When we decided to have a second inspection, the inspector refused to refund us the $75 for the termite inspection that he never completed. I would never use him again, and I would not recommend that anyone else use him.
Description of Work: Inspected the house prior to purchase. Did a complete home inspection and also provided a 4-point inspection for insurance purposes.
