It didn't.

He arrived ontime, and we discussed the work to be done, a complete replacement of the existing screen material. Mr. Gonzalez gave me a manufacturers sample of the replacement material available. He ointed out the benefits of each and the indibidual cost of each. The contract was a formal document with the Company name, the Operating License, and a 2 year warranty on all material. I will not tell you the prices he provided but I can tell you that I selected the most expensive. NOW THE UNBELIEVABLE; and for comparison ABC was in one case $300 less and $400 less in the other. The effort took Mr. Gonzalez 3 hours to complete and the work was flawless. I found Mr. Gonzalez to be a gentle person, easy to talk with, hardworking, committed to perfection, honest in pricing, and deserving of the greatest respect. I did not know Mr. Gonzalez before hiring him but I will not soon forget him.

They did an excellent job of cleaning & prepping the frame and used the best paint available. They also took the time to paint it right - by hand with several coats instead of spraying it quickly. It looks beautiful & the screens are nice & tight.

Contacted ABC on a Friday afternoon and left a message. He returned my call promptly. We agreed to have him come over on Monday to look at the work and give me a bid. He did so, and gave me a price for the initial work I needed done that was half what I was expecting. I asked him what he could do for double the price. He checked out the entire pool enclosure and came back with a bid that was double the price but much more than double the work. I approved the work and asked him when he could do it. He said, "Now!" And so it was. Took him an hour or so to finish. I treated him to some ice water and we had a nice, brief chat. I can't endorse him enough! Absolutely the best example of small business in action.

It didn't.

Price beat all the others, yet included more work! In addition, Carlos actually KNOWS what he's doing, so there's little waste, and he recognized we had a drainage problem where one part of the roof dumps out. That area would turn into a waterfall during rainstorms, but he re-engineered that area, and we no longer get the flooding on the patio anymore!

They provide excellent service. They clean up after themselves and the prices are very fair and reasonable. They were very nice people to work with. I would highly recommend them.

The job took 2 1/2 days. It went pretty smoothly and we haven't any problems.

We worked with Ben, and have used his services in the past for a similar project. The screen room looks great. My only negative comment is the work day kept being delayed. I understand some projects took longer than expected, and since we were not in a hurry, it didn't effect us. On the other hand, the last time Ben worked for us, we had a deadline, and he was able to do the work right away. So guess it averages out. Will call Ben in the future if we need screen repair or another screen room installed.
