Excellent service. Estimate done on time fair price. work scheduled. Five people came With large equipment. They worked nonstop for 2-3 hours. All took care to avoid damaging any landscape lighting or sprinklers. They trimmed everything discussed and more. The roof and driveway were spotless when they left. Best experience would definitely use again.

The quote was given on date and time promised, and they came in significantly cheaper than the two other companies with a Certified Arborist from whom I obtained quote. Work was done great, including clean-up. Would not hesitate to hire them again.

Excellent. They were here on time and did an excellent job. All was trimmed and cleaned up. Workers were friendly and checked with me to make sure all trees were trimmed to by approval. I would recommend and use them again.

Price quoted was over $700, I got 2 other quotes both under $500. I was able to get the county and power company to remove the pine and I cut the shrubs myself

Work was completed quickly and professionally. Only issue was after the initial estimate they didn't call back to schedule the actually work I had to call them. However, once the work was scheduled they arrived on-time and did a great job. Would hire again.

I see there is another reviewer that had the same issues we had. Our first quote was 10/11/2017 . We emailed the original quote the same day and had to call back on it twice. Apparently it was attached to other paperwork. After finally speaking with them we were told they would get back with us. They have never contacted us again. Basically they dropped the ball... That’s ok we used another top rated Tree service here on Angie’s list. You will know by their responsiveness. :)

Called 2/6/18, Richard was out next a.m. as requested to do yard estimate on several trees. Agreed to remove one dead tree to start process of continuous relationship so can escrow for rest of estimate. Congenial and professional.

I called on 10/27/2017 and set up an appointment for an estimate on 10/31/2017. Richard showed up to give me an estimate and arrived during the 3 hour window of time they said he would. He provided an estimate of $975 for what I needed done and said that the work would take approximately 3 hours for him and his crew to complete. I agreed to the price and the $75 discount for finding them through Angie's List. When I asked him when I could expect him to start the work, he said that I would get a call from the office to set up a date. After waiting several days and not receiving a call, I called the office number and spoke with a lady about setting up a day to complete the work. She said that they were about 3-4 weeks behind and she could not schedule me for a date at that moment and would call me back. Well, it's now 11/08/2017 and I still have not received a call back or anything about having the work done. I guess my little $900 job isn't that important. However, there are a lot of other companies on here that do the same work, so I'll be calling a different one. One that values my business. I can't speak for Mid Florida Tree Service's quality of job because the job was never done. However, if you want to be valued as a customer and /or need to schedule a job that you want completed any time soon. My advice is to go elsewhere. There are too many other options to choose from that would value your business than to deal with a company like this that doesn't!!!

Through their website, I requested an estimate. Website said they would respond within 48 hours. that was 6-7 days ago. Left my phone number & email address. Have not heard from them. No email, checked my "spam" folder. No phone call that I know of, no messages on answer machine. I realize they may still be very busy from the storm. But I would have expected a reply, even if to say they were too busy to take on additional work. With the quantity and quality of the reviews here on angieslist, and the "awards" angieslist gave them, I expected more. I'll move on to someone else.

It's not all done yet, but that's a long story. They're worth it. It's an expensive business.

Arrived ahead of schedule, did a great job trimming and cleaning up.

I used them to cut down the big oak tree in the front. They were affordable. I had taken several estimates and they were the best.

The estimator (Richard) was polite, timely and reasonable in price. The office staff was great in obtaining the insurance info I needed. The foreman (George) and the crew was timely, professional and completed the trimming using the correct safety harnesses and ropes for large limbs. Hauling, chopping limbs and cleanup was completed as promised. Great job.

Excellent. The climber and his helpers were quick and professional, and did clean-up afterward on a very hot day.

Everything went well. They got TECO out to get one of the trees prepared (limbs away from power lines) quickly. They were comparatively reasonable in price, did what they said they would do in the time they said it would take. I will have them out to take out 2 more trees soon. I'm completely happy with the work.

They came when they said they would for the quotes and work. It was a large job and there were several different crews used throughout the job. The bucket truck was not working either day when they did the work, so they had to have one guy manually operate the boom, so work was not delayed. One of the crews was pretty sloppy and did some damage to house gutter and landscape curbing; and sprinkler line under stump got damaged when stump was ground. We negotiated a settlement adjustment on the final price due to the damage done. We sat outside and watched the whole time, which I'm glad we did as we saw when damage actually happened, but as I said when we pointed out the damage Tom was good at adjusting the final price. For the most part, the crews were good at cleaning up each time when they were done (even when leaving for lunch break), with the exception of the one crew. This was the second time we have used them.

Was a bit concerned when supervisor showed up and said bucket truck was not operational but they were working on getting another. He gave instructions to crew and did not mention one large branch that was rubbing on another that we were going to remove and specifically told them not to touch overhanging limbs over neighbors driveway. I corrected him in private and he went back and supposedly corrected instruction to crew. I had been told job would take an entire day and the next morning to finish. Crew removed some dead wood in one oak over roof but not much else from 9 to 11am. Bucket truck showed up at 11 and things seemed to pick up. Palms were pruned and moved on to large oak. I had to leave at 2 but asked foreman to be sure they would take care of overhang and large branch and sprouts in lower portion of tree. He said "of course. I came back at 3 and they were gone. Very little overhang removed, large branch not removed. I would dispute whether either oak was "elevated". Neighbors said they packed up soon after I left. They did not come back. One guy cutting for less than 5 hours (they took lunch). Very very disappointed.
