Doug did a great job inspecting and communicating with us as we reside in a different state. He was very thorough and professional. He alerted us to things which required attention, but did not scare us away from the property in question.

Showed up early. Dropped his moisture meter so he didn't trust it. Came back out a few days later with a new meter and finished the inspection.

Each of the home inspections were complete and provided accurate information to assist in the overall condition of the home and all of the home systems and components. The report also provided material defects / issues observed and repair / replacement details.

Accurate Home Inspection is who you need to call if you are considering a new home, Doug Mudge saved us THOUSANDS of dollars by pointing out safety hazards in the electrical system. His inspection was so thorough that the realtors were offering to pay for another inspector to come out who would 'pass' the house. No thanks! I want it to pass on it's own merits, especially if the problems are safety related. I have bought around 10 homes in my life and this is the first time that I expect I can move in without having any issues that were missed by the inspector. Thanks Doug!

The inspection was an all-inclusive review of the total property, inside and out, testing everything. It went very well, with Doug Mudge answering all of our questions. We traveled from Maryland to Florida to be there, and it was well worth the effort. The written report included pictures of the items needing repair as well as an explanation and timeline (i.e. Immediate to discretionary). It is fitting the company name is Accurate Home Inspection. Very thorough report compiled for home inspection in Florida Keys (complex inspection). Excellent pictures to accompany each identified discrepancy. Multiple hours spent. Doug spent time explaining things in simple laymans terms. Follow-up to report has been outstanding; appliance recall service contacted and report forwarded; Doug ensured report received and offered to address any questions.

From start to finish, working with Doug and Accurate Home Inspections was a delightful process. It can be difficult to find professionals in the Keys who do what they say they're going to do and follow up in a prompt manner. Doug exceeded all expectations from start to finish - he answered my first phone call, immediately scheduled our inspection for a time that was most convenient to us (a Saturday morning? No problem!), arrived promptly, conducted an incredibly thorough inspection, and got us all (incredibly detailed!) reports immediately. He was patient during the inspection, pointing out and explaining everything he saw and answering all of our questions, and then prepared and delivered a bevvy of necessary reports and forms in less than two days! I could not hope to work with a better professional or have a more impressive, knowledgeable individual on our side buying a home!!
