Response from Quality Grill Service
I arrived at (Member name removed) house in Ellettsville, In to assess his charbroil gas grill. Upon inspection, the grill showed extensive age and corrosion of the components. Burners, shields, grids all needed replaced. In addition, the grill did not seem stable, and my overall assessment was that it would not be worth the hundreds of dollars in replacement parts, in such an unstabe old grill. Instead, I went into much detail of some options for a new grill, and potential services that may haul away the old grill. (Member name removed) seemed to show some interest in the idea of replacing the grill, and agreed with me that the current grill had seen its last days. I went on to explain to (Member name removed), what type ofmgrill I would recommend, that would be comparable to the one he had before. I explainednew grill prices in detail, I told him where to shop for a grill. And I stated if he had any questions what so ever about a new grill, I would be happy to chat with him by phone. I wanted to respond to (Member name removed) review, only because. I spent much more than 10 minutes with him and the grill. Sure I diagnosed a "junk" grill in two minutes, but thats my job, I know grills. I spent the remainder of the time educating my customer on where to go from here, so he doesn't end up with another "junk" grill. I explain thoroughly to my customersmthe importance of quality, when shopping forma gas grill. How not to be duped by the grill manufacturers. I strongly recommend two or thre brands, the rest are, well, "junk". In addition, my inspection/service call fee is $75.00. Its fairly reasonable I believe. I think (Member name removed) would agree, that I provided sound advice, and gave the correct diagnosis, which (Member name removed) was seeking otherwise he would not have contacted me.
