Houston Air

Took 2 1/2 weeks. I'm sure they forgot to order. I had to call them and email. Charged $25.00 warranty charge! $10.92 for solder, &15 wc, $5.00 wc, whatever they are znd $295 labor. Time to switch.

The guy didn't actually do anything when he serviced it. Other than the quality of work and the cost of the work everything else I would give either an excellent or very good. They could have actually taken the panels off of the air conditioner and cleaned it, gotten the debris out of it and actually checked the pressure in the system. They never actually put any of the unit itself apart. They checked the temperature where the air enters the house and went outside and never did anything on the outside unit which is where everything is. That was the last service call I'll ever have them do. They could have done better and actually serviced the unit.

Houston Air was wonderful to deal with from start to finish. We called several air conditioning companies, as we are and quot;newbiesand quot; that are not full-time residents and unfamiliar with local companies. Houston was the only company with staff willing to make Saturday visits to assess the job site and accommodate our weekends only schedule to provide an accurate estimate. They helped identify alterative options to the very noisy pancake air handler that was pre-existing in our condo and they helped us through the process of choosing the correct size and seers of all three units we needed to have replaced. The units were ordered and arrived within the stated timeframes and our installation was scheduled and completed with the utmost professionalism. Our install consisted of removing and replacing 3 units, 2 of the units were completely different than the pre-existing. Install staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, clean and efficient and I am sure our 3 story application wasn't the easiest job to complete. The results are amazing as the units are super quiet and the humidity control function has made a huge difference in the air quality of our home. The reduced energy consumption at the end of the month is a pleasant surprise, as well. The office staff was just as helpful upon completion as our payment was processed and the warranties filed for us.

The guy had me panicked when he said I don't know if the unit will fit in the space in the condo. It worked well and he even reinforced the and quot;supporting standand quot; by putting two new boards in. His partner said, and quot;you've got the best guy in the Keys to do this job!and quot; Apparently, we did ... the job went well.

Houston Air replaced my previous Lennox heating and cooling system and the duct work in 2002. Though they had continuously maintained my previous system and I still had one year's warranty remaining, I wanted a more efficient system. I dealt with the owner, Jodie, who at the time was a neighbor. I could not have asked for a better installation. The installers arrived at 8am and were well prepared with drop cloths and all equipment necessary to complete the job. The finished before 2pm and completely cleaned the work site. Everything was done correctly the first time. I have the extended 10 year warranty from Lennox as well as the yearly maintenance contract with Houston Air. I have had one problem with the blower, since the install and Houston Air arrived the same day for the repair. I recommend Houston Air for a complete system install.

Excellent. The supervisor came the day before installation to make sure everything was still the same. They showed up on time, took the time they estimated and removed all traces of the old system and cleaned up completely when they were finished. The new system works perfectly.
