HENRI'S CERAMIC TILE INC.

Description of Work: Henri was hired to remove 420 sq feet of existing tile and replace with a total of 933 sq. feet of 20'' rectified porcelain tile. He turned it into a disaster. He used the wrong chisel tip on the jack-hammer and pitted my whole foyer with about 100 small baseball size craters in my floor. Instead of accepting responsibility, he told me he needed another $4,000 to finish the job b/c he suddenly felt I needed a new subfloor. He also stated that he needed more $$ and at least 5 more days to remove the remaining tile. I brought someone else who laughed at his work and told me they could remove the rest in 1 day. HE DID. In one day, he removed 350 sq. feet perfectly clean and flat, where Henri took all day to pit up and destroy 71 sq. feet. He did a mediocre job in the upstairs bathroom but made many mistakes someone of 18 Years should not make. I paid half up front and am now sitting with a destroyed floor, a so so upstairs bath or 45 sq feet, and Henri refuses to return my $$.

Description of Work: INSTALLED APPROXIMATELY 1000 SQ. FT. OF PORCELAIN TILE. PRICE INCLUDED REMOVAL OF EXISTING CARPET, VINYL, BASEBOARDS AND TOILETS IN BATHROOMS, REFRIGERATOR, WASHER AND DRIVER. RE-INSTALLATION OF BASEBOARDS, TOILETS, WASHER/DRYER AND REFRIGERATOR.
