Your Electrician

Bruce was punctual and did exactly what he said he would do, for exactly the price he quoted. The job was to install under-cabinet LED lighting, on two different walls, with one common switch (the switch also needed to be installed). Additionally, the were to install another switch that would control an outlet on top of the cabinets on both walls for self-installed over-cabinet lighting. There was quite a bit of attic work involved in running wires to the various locations. The project was fairly complex and therefore took a good deal of time, but turned out fabulously. "Your Electrician" is now MY electrician.

Bruce was prompt, efficient, and cost effective. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again in the future.

Bruce provided me with an excellent service with the installation of my bathroom exhaust fans in two bathrooms. Even though I'm away in far west coast during the installation, he kept me well informed and didn't try to rip me off. I've gotten quotes from others and he was the cheapest and was available immediately to meet our schedule. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again on my future projects.

The job was quoted for by the owner Bruce, approximately six weeks ago, The job was for five new outlets, two in the Lanai, one in the master bath, one in the kitchen and one switchable outlet in the kitchen. The price for the job was $426. When Bruce arrived with helper we informed him that one outlet in the kitchen was not required, but to go ahead with the rest of the job. After further inspection by Bruce he told us that the switched outlet in the kitchen was not possible due to the way the property was constructed. Next we were informed that the bathroom outlet would need to be placed in a different area, again due to the way the building was constructed. A compromise was agreed in a similar but less convenient area. We were then told that he did not carry the necessary parts and would have to return two days later, which he did. The outlet in the bathroom was fitted after a lot of grunting and expletives. I was shown the job, it was OK, but not perfect, not really tight and flush, he said that was the best he could do. Next I was presented the bill. I was shocked it was $11 less than the original quote and that included an Angies list discount! and I had two sockets and a switch less than I was quoted for. Explanation was that it took him a long time to work out he could not do the job. After he left I went into the bathroom and made the outlet tight and flush.

Bruce is the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Outstanding communicator. Worked flawlessly scheduling and working alongside the myriad of other contractors involved in my entire interior renovation. Always on time. A wealth of experience and suggestions to improve my ideas and concepts. On top of the latest concepts in the industry.

Provider never called or showed up. Still haven't heard from this company. The company from Tampa (20 miles away) (Small Jobs) was within window, and even did a small repair for free, but the company 5 miles away couldn't be bothered. Would not call again for work as apparently too busy to do jobs or contact customers.

Bruce was very punctual and performed the requested tasks in a reasonable amount of time . Furthermore he puts emphasis on doing the job correctly, consistent with electrical code guidelines.

I called Your Electrician and scheduled an appointment for them to come out. Bruce was very accommodating with our work schedule. He was prompt and explained exactly what was required to do the work. We scheduled the work for the following week & Bruce & his crew installed 4 can lights in my living room ceiling & a dimmer switch (which I love), conveniently located in the living room. I wasn't sure if they would be able to go through the very shallow area in the attic, but they were able to and did a wonderful job. They had to cut (4) holes in the plaster ceiling and that tends to be very dusty & messy. They were very respectful of our home and made sure the area they were working in was cleaned before they left. I would highly recommend Your Electrician and will use them for any future needs.

First I got three quotes from top rated electrical contractors from Angie's list. There was a big difference among the three companies. Along with having the lowest price, Bruce was very personable. Bruce started the job on schedule and worked all day until completion. Being a retired tradesman myself I was very impressed with the level of craftsmanship he displayed while putting the new breakers in the new panel. All the wiring was very neat and labeled. After the wiring was completed he tested all the circuits for proper operation. The electrical inspector had no issues with the work performed. I will use Your Electrician again when needed.

Did the job, no hype, no cross-selling, explained what he did took the check and left. Pleasant experience; it's the 3rd time he helped us over the last couple of years.

It was a pleasure to work with Bruce. He arrived at the time he said he'd be here. He was professional and personable and took the time to answer my questions. He did his best to minimize damage (had to open up drywall) and cleaned up when done. I'd hire him again.

When looking for an electrician for our new home, I was apprehensive that it was going to open a never-ending can of worms. After inviting Bruce into our home, I was delighted to find a professional with integrity. I gave him an overview of what was needed and he went to work. He explained what he had completed throughout the process and identified areas that were unsafe and made them right. He also came up with ideas that would save us time and money that were very useful, which was much appreciated. When we received the bill, it was very fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend Bruce and Your Electrician for any electrical needs.

We had a difficult melted wiring situation. Bruce advised tearing up the area was the last thing he wanted to do, he felt the underground pipes would hold new wiring and make the job easier and faster. Further, he located the probable cause for our electrical issue. His bid was half to a third of those submitted by the other contractors who bid on the job. He was thorough and left everything clean. Great job - we will most certainly use his services again when and where needed. Highly recommend!

Bruce and company did a bang up job for us. This was a house we had just moved into so there were several things we wanted to change or added. They were prompt with their estimate, arrived when they promised, did a quality job and cleaned up after. We really can not ask for more. Had there been any negative issues, this review would have been longer. But, we have nothing but high praise for them.

Arrived on time and got to work. Very pleasant chap to have around the house especially as we also had decorators in the house at the same time.

We liked him a lot. He seemed like he was honest and fair, and he was nice. The price seemed a little high.

Overall great job. Installed the chandiler and checked out the outlet. advised me outlet could be addressed easier and cheaper during an up coming renovation. I trust this guy.

Bruce moved the electrical outlets and did a wonderful job with the least amount of drywall damage possible. He worked very fast and efficiently. He used a drop cloth and there was no mess. He's very reasonably priced and is a very professional family man. I will definitely use him again should I need electrical work done. Angieslist is very lucky to have him as a customer, he's one of the good ones. I know because I had a lot of rentavations done last year by a General Contracting Company and it was a disaster.
