PETER LONTAKOS ELECTRICAL SERVICES

I was referred to this company by Hunter for a warranty issue with their ceiling fan. Peter Lontakos came out on 12/29/17. He determined I was to get a new receiver at which time they said they would order it and replace it once it arrived. They would charge Hunter for the service call and it would be no charge to me. I have left 3 messages and they have not returned my call. It is now 01/29/18 and I still have no repaired fan. According to Hunter, he has never placed an order for the part.

We spent almost $5000.00 to have all lighting fixtures replaced which was a painful process due to having to call several times no one ever calls you back and never on time. They agreed to replace our outside lighting as well and I have tried for 3 weeks to get a hold of them and once again they NEVER called me back. I'm calling someone else.

They repaired the problem on the SAME DAY I called, sent a copy of the completed work order to my insurance company and didn't even charge me extra $$ for the emergency call!

Service was prompt, professional and efficient. In a word - excellent.

They were very prompt. They came out on time and prepared. Cleaned up after themselves using their own equipment, even though I had a shop vac right there. They said "No, we'll just use ours." They were very polite. Their work was done according to the estimate. There was no variation, no up-selling or anything like that. They actually came out three times. The third time, I called them to switch the light switches from one wall to the other, I was in a rush because of the remodeling, and I needed it done immediately. They came out that afternoon. Actually, it was the owner who came out to move the switches. It was great. I was 100% satisfied with them. They came in, I pointed out what I wanted and where I wanted it, and got the job done right away. They had three guys come out, and they did everything as fast as possible with minimal damage and minimal mess.

The guys from Peters crew did an awesome job! I live in Nevada and was trying to get my mothers electric issue handled for her, she lives in NPR, Florida. I would definitely recommend Peter Lontakos Electric!

They had to install the electric box first and had to bring the wiring over from half way across the house through the space in the vaulted ceiling. They knew what they were doing. No problem. Not easy, but no problem. Two very nice people. We were very pleased.

Our Casablanca fan (7 years old) with wall outlet intelli-remote stopped working. I knew problem was with fan unit and not the remote because i swapped out identical control for another fan and still no operation. The Casablanca corporate service department suggested Lontakos as an authorized local service company. Casablanca also told me the motherboard model we had was no longer made and we would have to get the current model installed along with a new remote. However, Lontakos had our existing motherboard model in stock, so no new remote needed. Their service man showed up early and repair work was done quickly, and clearly was by someone very experienced with Casablanca fans. He had the whole fan disassembled, repaired and reassembled in no time. Their charges were reasonable and we are very very happy with all aspects of the job. Highly recommended for any Casablanca fan issue.

In addition to other electrical work, Peter works with Casablanca fan company repairing their fans both in and out of warranty. I had contact Peter after receiving my newly purchased fan won't work. Peter took the time over the phone to discuss possible problems. Once we had exhausted all possibilities he scheduled a call to come out. Peter arrived at the agreed upon time, and quickly remedied the problem. Afterwards Peter took the time to discuss other project I had.Unfortunately the fan had another issue for which I called Peter. Once again he was on time and quickly fixed the problem. Peter is the type of electrician we are all looking for (or will be looking for). On time, extremely knowledgeable, personable, he explains things in laymen terms, and patient. I am looking forward to using his services in the future.
