Just as a note to start: Our roof installation was completed almost 6 months ago, and we have had several months with lots of rain. We have had no leaks or issues regarding the roof since it was installed. The installation itself was excellent -- They got the roof installation and solar attic fan installation completed in one day. There was an issue with the insulation machine where it jammed up half way through the job. However, they came back out a few days later when it met our schedule and took care of the rest of the job via the crawl space area. Because my husband and I worked full time, they had extra workers come out for the job to ensure the roof installation was completed in one day, and for that I am grateful and very impressed by their dedication to customer service and quality craftsmanship. From start to finish, the entire team at Arry's made the process as painless as possible and provided excellent customer service. They even brought cookies to our house to thank us for hiring them for the job! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Arry's and have highly recommended them to my family and friends. The quality of their work speaks volumes, and we have received many compliments on our new roof.

I called Arry's Roofing and a gentleman named Jeff Covington came to my home to inspect the issue. He was amazing! First he managed to crawl into the attic space and take pictures and actually see the damage that had been done. I had 2 different roofers and one chimney person, none of which went into the attic. It was very difficult to speculate but he recommended we call a contractor as the leak may have been internal not roof related. My husband got a wild hair and ripped open the ceiling so we could take a better look the next day. I called Jeff back and asked him if he would like to get a better look. Back he came and spent time looking once again. We agreed that a contractor was in order. I received no bill for his time or services. About a week later, Jeff called to get an update on the issue and check on us. We have since hired a contractor and have taken the steps to repair the problem. We will need a roof in the next 5 years and I will DEFINITELY be calling Arry's for the job. They are top notch and Jeff is one of a kind! Thanks for all your help!!!

Arrived at agreed upon time, and worked professionally to complete work in two and one half days. They covered the pool and cleaned up all of the shingles and nails from the old roof. I have found one nail from the old roof. The new roof looks great.

Very Professional Company. Clean steady workers. Not in a hurry just to get the job done. Would certainly recommend them for any Roof repair or replacement.

I had a leak and I called them. They weren't very friendly or pleasant. They're a very good company and they do a good job but they weren't not very nice. At least the one man that came out to my house. I called them for an estimate and then I used another company in the past. Then I called them for an estimate this time and the guy said something like, well you just called us for an estimate and then you don't use us. I'm not coming out anymore. Something like that I don't remember exactly. But I ended up going to another company because the man, just that person, was very rude. They're really a good company. It's just that one guy wasn't really, well...you know.

Another roofing company came out earlier to provide an estimate and they just did a visual inspection (and estimated ~500 repair without ever going into the attic). Array's came by and went into the attic to identify the location of the leak. They found the leak (due to a broken nail head) and then they patched the hole -- at no charge! I really appreciated the honesty of Arry's and the courtesy they provided by fixing this small leak on the spot. Definitely will call them again for any future roofing issues.

Arry's did a great job on our roof. The estimator was very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided us with estimates for shingle, tile, and metal. We decided to go with metal. The crew was punctual and worked hard to remove our old roof, make repairs to wood areas, lay the secondary water barrier, and install the metal system. Callie in the office was always helpful when we had questions. We highly recommend Arry's.

From estimate to completion, everything was done as promised, including follow up after the work was completed.

Extremely professional and courteous. Rescheduled work for four different dates. Based on the rescheduling problems I probably would not use again. However, the staff is tried to be accommodating.

Good, they were very good. They do a nice job, they own their work. They did around 5 or 6 thousand dollars worth of work. Array's they did work about 5 years ago, I had them do work on the house. They were very professional, very thorough, they showed up when they were supposed to, they did the work, everything was cleaned up afterwards. I had a leaky roof, the roof doesn't leak anymore. It's been five years and the best part is my roof doesn't leak anymore. There is no worst part, I was very happy with the experience. If there was anything, they were a little pricey but, they do very high quality work.

Gave them the deposit in October, work was supposed to begin in Dec. They called to delay the work to end of Dec. Then called to delay until Jan. Delayed 2 more times in Jan and we finally cancelled the work. It took 3 phone calls and 10 days to get our deposit back and then we personally went to pick it up.

Not an great experience with them, and they are on Angie's List, but my experience was terrible with them. The warranty to change from the previous owner to me was $300, should have been $150. The guy came out to inspect ,and never heard from them since, no report to say that its ok, or nothing. I had asked for an estimate to clean out the weave poles, its an clay tower, and I had never heard back. I asked for several quotes, and they only gave me one quote for $1,600, and my neighbor got the same quote for $300, and his house is bigger than mine. They did an inspection, and never gave me an report. If they had actually did work, that would have been an different story. Multiple no calls returned. The guy who did the inspection did show up on time.

Since it was small repair, I had a prior contractor who could schedule me quicker. But I would definitely get a quote from Arry's if roof replacement were needed.

Arry's showed up on the scheduled day to replace my roof. They were there on time and worked until after dark. It took 3 days to replace the roof and the crew worked through the day only braking for lunch. Workers were friendly and very courteous. If I had to replace my roof again, i would hire Arry's to do it.

Their responsiveness was good. They had to cancel a couple of times because it was raining. It is a very responsible outfit because they had too many jobs and this was the first time I used them. They responded every time we had them out for something. They are very professional.

A bad experience, which was surprising because not only are they highly recommended here, but I had a friend recommend them. I called to schedule an estimate and the first date available was 3 weeks out....not surprising since all roofing companies are slammed in FL in the summer. But they were able to fit me in early (off to a good start). Lee came out after only 3 days when they had a cancellation, and he was great. Some of the aluminum need to be replace so he scheduled a 2nd estimate with the company they work with for that. Stan (the aluminum guy) was there 11 days later and completed his estimate. I waited a week, and received no estimate. I called and spoke to Megan who took all my contact info and told me that either a sales person would call or I would receive my estimate within 2 days. Another week and still nothing. Called and spoke to Megan and again she took all my info and repeated that I would hear something after 2 days. Again nothing. After a week I tried one last time with the same result. I understand they were busy. Perhaps my job was too small....but hey call and tell me that, don't waste my time. After a month (now I have wood that's covered in mold) I've had to go with my 2nd choice and get in their very long waiting list for estimates. I'll never use Arry's again. I give them a D because everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional.

It went out well. I had to get a guy who really fixed the leak because there is a line that goes to the sink on the refrigerator and a squirrel got in there and ate it, so I thought I had a leak on the roof. He actually fixed the line going over and I thought it was a good price. I checked a couple of them and it was good. They did a good job. They were very responsive. When they fixed the nonexistent leak they actually caused another one, but they came right back and fixed it. They were always here when they said they would be.

Wonderful for me but not so good for my neighbor. They are diligently trying to find the source of her leak. My team was wonderful. Did the repairs as needed and even recommended something extra that was hidden until the repairs began. I would truly (and did) recommend them to anyone. Fast, accurate and clean and neat. The ONLY issue is that they are so busy couldn't get out right away. But, to us, worth waiting for.

It went excellent! They are extremely nice & very professional. It was the same crew of workers the entire time which is a big deal in roofing. The price wasn't the cheapest but it wasn't the most expensive either.

From start to finish, working with Arry's was a wonderful experience.! Chuck Ankrom (Project Manager) made it vey easy for us to understand what would be involved and obtained a quote for us in a very timely manner! Hector and the entire install crew worked extremely hard to get the project completed. Due to our unique situation of the blistered shingles from the previous manufacturer/roofing company, the entire crew had to work an extra day plus just to remove the old shingles. They deserve a round of appreciation for their work ethic and demeanor. We certainly made the correct decision and would highly recommend Arry's. Thank you very much for making this a pleasurable experience!!!

Really great un-stressful experience. From the estimate to the scheduling to the communication to the workmanship to the follow-up, all of the people involved were friendly, knowledgeable and really seemed to care about us. Very good product and experience.

Got three quotes for roof replacement. Arry's was the last one. Very high quality presentation material and knowledgeable salesman. Offered the best quality roof with deducts for lesser guarantees and lower quality underlayment. Other two had done the opposite - lowball initial price and upgrade options. I liked Arry's proposal method best. I conformed the bids of the other two bidders to the Arry's bid and negotiated their price down with the salesman to a number close to the other two bids. I should note that I also asked for pricing from each roofer for attic insulation to be installed coincident with the reroofing. The other two bidders indicated that they do the insulation work in-house. Arry's said that used a subcontractor. Arry's bid for the insulation work was competitive so I accepted it. As I explain in my review of Arry's under the insulation category, I ended up cancelling that portion of the contract for their failure to get the subcontractor to do the work when promised, twice. Back to the reroof. Project was scheduled for Monday, 4/18. Crew arrived on time, laid down tarps and covered my pool equipment and A/C unit, and started to remove the old roof. They were down a man that drove the dump truck so I was told that two dumpsters would be delivered shortly. Dumpsters were delivered and I was told that only one of them would be removed at the end of the day and that the other would be removed the next morning (Tuesday) by 11:00 am. I was ok with that. Crew worked hard and efficiently all morning. Bad wood was replaced after I had a chance to see what was needed and I worked with the supervisor to spot the location for a new bathroom exhaust gooseneck that was needed to be added. Peel and stick underlayment was installed, new drip edge - sealed with plastic sealant, new goosenecks, lead vent boots, and lifetime HD shingles. Supervisor was a hard worker, but worked too hard sometimes and didn't watch what was going on. The day was quite breezy and the tarps and other protection that they put down were blown out of position and old roof debris was everywhere. I replaced the protection over my A/C and pool equipment. Additionally, while the supervisor was shingling the other side of the house, I was watching the crew shingle on the opposite side of the house. I saw shingles going on very quickly but noticed that there was no gooseneck installed where I thought the bathroom vent should be. I climbed up on the roof and called over to the supervisor and explained my concern. Sure enough, they had failed to cut a hole in the underlayment to expose the vent and had just started to shingle over that location. I am sure they would have caught it AFTER the roof was done but then they would have had to tear up a section of brand new roof and redo it. Last part of the job was to install new ridge vent and ridge vent shingles. While observing them installing the new ridge vent, I noted that the product being used (GAF Cobra Ridge Runner) did not match what the contract called for (GAF Cobra III) . The supervisor said that it was what they always used on their Golden Pledge warranty jobs (highest warranty) and that it was essentially the same as Cobra III, but it came in a roll and was easier to install. I initially took his word for it. They couldn't finish all the ridge vent because they were short some ridge shingles and would have to return in a day or two to finish. despite the fact that the wind had blown their tarps out of place, the entire crew did a good job of cleaning up all the debris in my yard and landscaping and used magnets to collect nails that escaped. Realistically, you can never find every scrap and every nail so the few that I have found in the past few weeks after were not a surprise. One dumpster was hauled away that night and the other was supposed to be removed the next morning. It didn't get removed until two days later. Fortunately, I could get one car out of the garage and wasn't held captive. After they left on Monday night, I went to the GAF website and researched the roof vent materials. What had been installed was in fact not essentially the same as what was quoted. Ridge Runner is a slightly lower profile but has substantially less net free ventilation area per foot than Cobra III. Ridge vents are meant to ventilate. I contacted the salesman and he agreed that what was installed was incorrect and would be replaced. On Wednesday, the crew showed up and replaced all of the ridge vent with the correct material and completed the job. Roof looks good. The following Wednesday, a senior supervisor came out to do a final inspection and provide me with my warranty and collect final payment. The Supervisor was totally unaware of the insulation issue or the vent material error. He was only there to walk the roof, deliver paperwork and collect money. I was handed the bill and confirmed that the insulation portion had be deducted as well as the small discount I had negotiated for the non- insulation fiasco. But the I came to the charges for wood replacement. Not a huge number but no details were provided. I asked the supervisor for a breakdown and was advised that I would have to get that from the office. Really? I called the office and asked for the breakdown. Five sheets of plywood and one 2x4. She gave me the price for each and the amount charged on the bill reflected those prices and quantities, however, I remind her that the contract amount included two sheets of plywood, therefore, I should only be charged for 3 sheets, not 5. She pulled the contract and agreed and blew it off as a 'clerical error'. I paid by credit card and the supervisor left. i called the next day (Thursday) to ask if the county had done the final inspection (so I could take the permit down that was taped to my house) and when the Wind Mitigation Inspector would be out (wind mitigation report included as part of the contract). She said that couldn't pull that information up online for some reason and would call me the next day. No call received Friday, or Monday, or Tuesday. I checked on line through the county's permitting website and found that the final inspection had been scheduled on Tuesday, for the next day. Inspector climbed up on roof, walked around for 2 minutes, climbed down, signed the permit and left. ( So much for government oversight. Permits are mostly a source of revenue and insight for property appraisers for new taxable value.) A few days later, I get an call from the wind mitigation inspector asking to schedule his inspection. He inspected on Monday, 5/9 and I got his report today. 3 1/2 weeks after work was done, the last task is finished. Finally. Overall, their workmanship was excellent, communication was good early, but when it got turned over to production, I wonder whether anyone actually read through the proposal or just skimmed over it. Supervision on the job was lacking at times which could have led to rework, not getting what was paid for, or worse yet, in the case of the missing bathroom exhaust gooseneck, moist air from the bathroom being blown into the attic causing wood rot years later. lessons learned - be there when it's being done, know what you bought, hold them to the contract, hound them to get inspections done timely, ask questions when you see something you don't understand. Be an educated buyer.

Having the insulation installed coincident with the reroofing would minimize the need to crawl in the attic and its tight spaces since they would be lifting the roof deck in many places. I have a 3/12 hip roof with two wings on the house. Access is very tight. Doing ithe insulation at the same time would better ensure all of the living areas would receive adequate coverage as well as minimize risk of damage to my new ceilings. Additionally, this arrangement would give me one point of contact in the event of any issues such as soffit vents being blocked causing the roof to be cooked. All of this was explained to the sales rep and he assured me that Arry's would be responsible to coordinate both elements of the project so that there would be no issues, despite the fact that they were using a subcontractor to do the insulation portion of the job. that didn't happen. Reroof was scheduled for Monday, 4/18. Crew arrived on time and started to remove the old roof. When they got to the point of replacing bad wood, I asked the on-site project supervisor when the insulation subcontractor would arrive. He wasn't even aware that insulation was part of the contract and said that he would call the office to find out. He did and I was told that the insulation wasn't going to be installed until a later date. reroof was finished and I was told that the insulation was to be done that Friday, 4 days later. They would call me on Wednesday with a time that the insulation sub would arrive. I was assured that they could get into all the nooks and crannies and that my ceilings would be safe. I asked who from Arry's would be there to oversee the insulation work. Was advised that no ones rom Arry's was going to be there since the insulation subcontractor knew what to do. I reminded them that my contract for this work was with Arry's, not their subcontractor and I expected someone from Arry's to be there to assure that the product, quantity, and coverage was done correctly. Reluctantly, they agreed. Wednesday came and went with no phone call. I called Thursday and was advised that it would be sometime Friday between 8 and 4 and that I would get a call with a 1 hour notice from the subcontractor. Arry's would get the same notice. Most of Friday came and went and no phone call. At 4:15, I called Arry's and they told me that the were having difficulty getting a commitment from their sub but assured me that it was going to get done that day but that they would be looking for a new insulation subcontractor for future jobs. I informed them that I too was going to be looking for a new insulation contractor. It was now 4:30 pm on Friday. If I was to receive the expected 1 hour notice at that time, they would be there at 5:30. It was about a 2 hour job start to finish. That would make it 7:30 before they were done. I told Arry's that I had had enough and cancelled the insulation portion of the contract. After some negotiation, I did receive a small discount in addition to the full credit for the insulation portion of the contract. It it should be noted that I found out that the insulation subcontractor is B rated on Angie's List. Additionally, my primary contact at Arry's was a veteran employee there but only recently had been promoted to a production coordinator position. She clearly had scheduling and communication problems with the insulation subcontractor, but as I explained earlier, those were exactly the kind of problems that I was told and sold that would be handled by Arry's so that I would have a single point of contact and a single project.
