Arry's Roofing Services

We have dealt with several roofers repairing various areas of a large roof. Arry's was the first one we felt could do the job we asked for. The estimater was very professional. He not only looked at the water damage in the inside ceilings, and climbed up on the roof, he somehow managed to get inside the vaulted attic area where he could actually see the problem and took photos for us to see. They set a date to start the job, and were prompt. Rain pushed them off schedule at one point in the repair, but they made sure the roof was protected from the rain. Always let us know when they arrived, when they were going to lunch, and when they were leaving. They cleaned up and removed all debris from the site. Photos were taken at each stage of the repair for us to see what had been done. We have finally found a roofer we feel we can trust, and will use them whenever we have a problem. We highly recommend them to Angies List Members.

They sent Jason (I believe that was his name). He was on time and ready to go right as scheduled. I had a ladder set up and my attic area open to allow him to go up and take a look. However, he didn't go into my attic or even climb the ladder to look at my existing ridge vent. He only looked up through the hole in the ceiling. Based on that, he recommended installing two solar fans at $1250 each. For whatever reason, I got the impression that they were either annoyed or very disinterested in performing this work, so they bid high to make me go away. Maybe they make more money putting on roofs instead of this small work, I don't know. That's speculation on my part. It's hard to explain in writing, but I would never have Arry's back to my home based on this experience. The reviews here didn't match my experience, so I'm talking with other contractors to do the work. I'm in the process of talking with other contractors now (also from Angie's List).

Everything about it was excellent. My neighbors brought a ladder and checked it out and said it was a good roof. They were also impressed.

They gave me excellent service with a fair price. They were very professional on the installation.

They were a great company and would definitely use them again. They were wonderful to work with. They took care of everything. They fixed all the little issues we had and were great.

Came and finished as stated. Did have old roofing dust come thru boards in garage roof before applying new roof. They came back and cleaned it as best as was possible.

I would give them an "A" on everything.

Worked on three roofs for us. They added new gutters and down spouts. They did fantastic work. Their prices was better than anyone else I found. The quality was too. The job site was clean while they were working and after they were done.

The work done by the Arry's crew was superb from start to finish. Being at home full-time until project completion, I was able to monitor the progress during every work day. It became quickly apparent that the Arry's team is highly experienced and competent with metal roofs. When I first questioned Matt Housh about the details of how they build a quality metal roof, he responses were the ones I hoped to hear and knew were correct based on my previous experience in the original build. I didn't have to request detailed quality work; he just explained their standards, and I considered them quality in all respects. By the way, I marked N/A about whether the price was good because I didn't shop sub-contractors, rather only the general contractor; however, I did like the fact that Neumann Construction chose Arry's as I knew Arry's is experienced with metal roofs. Details: Respect for my household was observed at all times. Removal of the original roof went smoothly and the new under-layment (over the old) was done thoroughly to the point that there were no water leaks during construction (we had a couple rain days). Nemo, the on-site supervisor, was always accessible to me for questions, concerns, preferences, etc, and acting with competence and courtesy in the way every homeowner would want in an on-site supervisor. Although I'm sure Arry's has many good teams, I would request this one again in the future. Nemo acted on my behalf in one instance regarding the sun tubes which gave me a better insight about choices. His pro-active intervention regarding a material choice left me with a better-looking outcome. The installation of the metal panels was done with precise cuts which ended within about an inch of each ridge (ideal). I could look up any ridge from the ground and I could see a straight line of cut ends during the initial panel lay. That's a good sign of caring about detail and workmanship. Installation of the sun tubes and 'square goose-necks', etc, was done with highly redundant protection against leaks. For example, for the goose-necks, sealant was applied in a triple ring between flange and panel (and maybe under the flange...can't recall), each panel was cake-panned upward around the goose neck center, more sealant was applied between the bent up cake pan edges and the goose neck center, and a final ring was applied around the juncture. Redundancy equals piece of mind. The sun-tubes were done in a similar manner, with the duct-work carefully worked in around tight cuts in existing blown insulation. The Z-bar was precisely cut against each standing seam, with sealant applied around the back sides of each standing seam to prevent wind-blown rain intrusion; by the way, all sealant used in the project was color matched to the metal. The ridge cap work was precisely done as well. You can look up the ridge lines to see the neat, straight result. During each day, the crew would use an engine-blower to remove any filings from such things as rivet drills, but virtually all cutting etc was done on the ground to minimize filings and the resultant potential rust from them. On the last day, Nemo followed the engine blower with a hose down of the entire roof to ensure that filings were removed. His crew removed any metal pieces and construction debris from the yard by magnet and visual inspection. The professionalism shown in both the process and the outcome allows me to give my whole-hearted recommendation of Arry's to anyone choosing a roofer. Eric in Thonotosassa

Arry's Roofing Services Inc 770 North Grosse Ave, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 At the time the work was completed, we thought that everything was fine. We had a leak within the warranty period. Arry's came out and fixed the leak, although they did not repair the damage to the inside ceiling. Still we were not unhappy at that point. Soon after the 10 year warranty period was over. We began to experience leaks. Arry's came out and said that that we needed a whole new roof and offered to put one on at full cost. We said no thank you and had the valley fixed for $3000 by another roofer. A couple of years later, the roof just started leaking everywhere. Granted the roof was aging but no 13 year old roof should leak in the front foyer, living room, kitchen, laundry room, bedroom and master bathroom.We have tried to deal with the leaks piecemeal but must now replace the roof. Every roofer who has come to give us an estimate has commented on the poor workmanship of the roof. The front drip edges don't even work properly so some of our trim wood is rotten as well. We did contact Arry's. They seemed concerned and came out to look at the roof. They offered us a an estimate to fix it which was right in line with the four other estimates we have. We let them know that we were disappointed that their estimate did not even offer some concession considering our past experience. They did not respond.

Having spent approximately 3 months researching into re-roofing my house, material specs, project scope and then interviewing and bidding with 5 different roofing contractors, I chose Arry's to do the project. All I can say is.....Arry's employs top notch people who were very professional, courteous, with great attention to detail and were always very at tentative to my questions and needs on the project from beginning to end. They were always on time every day to start the work and completed the job with minimal disruption to our family, house and property. Their craftsmanship was top notch and where minor touch ups were needed as part of a short punch list, after they were done, they took care of immediately. Also, I can't say enough about Arry's project site leader Mike. He was always on-site with his crew, always took his time to answer any of my questions and even did some extra vent work free of charge for me without even blinking an eye. The crew cleaned up the site at the end of each day. If you are shopping around for a roofing company, I would look no further than Arry's and highly recommend them. Gary in Odessa.

This company was the most expensive quote of the roofers we had bid our hydrostop deck installation. They would not quote exactly the roof repairs until they opened the deck. They would not budge off their price. I almost did not go with them. Thank goodness I did! Arrys is one of those gem companies that establishes long term relationships with their clients and earns their high reviews. My deck was complicated and large in my opinion. We had a fiberglass over 3/4 inch plywood deck that was failing in areas after only 3 years since original construction. The pitch was incorrect from settling and there were three problem areas. Arrys was the only contractor to have a plan to correct the pitch of the deck without demoing the exisiting deck. This was excellent because it wouldn't stress the existing beams and would use what was there. They repaired the existing deck in no time and went about installing the hydrostop system. They installed the engineered deck, which corrected the pitch, and then the hydrostop system. Upon completion the deck seemed to be blistering in areas. Nothing that would cause structural concern, our roof was watertight and all repairs were perfect, just the finish coat was blistering. Arry's said this was a new finish coat and they were unsure why it was blistering but what they would do would be to re install an entirely new Hydrostop system over that one, and one of an upgraded or more commercial rating, for no additional charge. I told them, how could I not be happy with that. They did exactly that and in a timely manner and I am happy to report that today our railing is back up and the deck is properly pitched and watertight beyond all measures. This company elected to likely loose money on my job to make sure they did justice to their customer. They stood behind their product and gave me more that I paid for. This is hard to find these days. There guys are professional, clean up each day, no cigarette butts, no debris, no loudness, total pros. If you are considering Arry's do yourself a favor and hire them now. If you would like to speak with me, I have agreed to have their client's call me as a reference, just ask them for my number. If you are focusing on their price being higher than other bids, CAUTION, don't hurt yourself, spend the extra with Arry's it is your roof, after all. Their estimate was the second highest of the three estimates that we received. The representative basically dropped off the estimate, so not a lot of information. He did arrive on the date scheduled for the estimate and on time.

Everything went well, and they did a good job with the repairs. The workers were punctual and reliable, and they did the work as promised. I appreciated that I didn't have to supervise them during the job.

They repaired two leaks and replaced steel under the tiles. I purchased a triple lacquer turquoise roof from Japan and not many people work on them. They have been willing to come out and have completed at least three or four repairs on my roof.

Everything went ok- they came out and looked at the problem- were back the next day before an expected rain and performed the above mentioned work in about 2 hours.

WE called Arry's Roofing Service after seeing a wet spot on our carport roof. We were a bit disappointed t first because we had to wait for about a week before someone can come out to check out our roof. Finally, Chuck (?) from Arry's came. He came on time and was very professional. Fortunately, it began to rain. Chuck stayed about an hour waiting for the spot to leak again. He climbed up the roof, went around the house, and inspected our roof thoroughly even in the rain. He told us there was nothing wrong with the roof, and who ever did our roof (before we bought the house) did a great job. We were expecting this to be a high-pressured sales/estimate scenario and were surprised when we realized we were sort of "pressuring" him to find something wrong with our roof. We're first-time home owners. Chuck told us not to let anyone pressure us to have our roof replaced because it is in good condition. He even explained to us what made the structure of our roof withstand the rain.

It took 3 weeks to get an appointment to have someone look at our property. Then, it took over a month and a half to get anything from them. All they sent was an estimate, to get an estimate. I had questions about the estimate to get an estimate and had not heard anything back for over 2 weeks. I finally asked if they had any answers for me and I got an email back that did not address anything I had brought up originally. It has been nearly 3 months since I initially called Arrys and all I have gotten is an estimate for an estimate which makes little sense to me. Based on their communication and responsiveness, I can not reccommend Arrys. I can not attest to the quality of their work, only the quality of their professionalism, which is very poor.

When the man came out and looked the roof he said the price would be much less. The extent of the work wasn't as great as we thought it would be. They were very polite, on time and did what they had to do. There have been no leaks since.

I had already identified where the leak was coming in the attic. However, i didnt know where it may be originating from on the roof. John came out to take a look. They called to see if they could come earlier than my appointment, which was great. John identified the issue as nail popups under a couple shingles in the specific area. He fixed the issue & even identified additional places on the roof where nails were beginning to popup and showed me how to stave off those future issues myself if i so desired (and i do desire). I have little doubt who i will be calling if i have future roofing issues, damage, etc, and for sure who i will call when it's time to re-roof.

They first thought it was a major issue, but the tech came out and found out it was a small project. They saved me a ton of money. They have excellent techs.
