Arry's Roofing Services

I needed to have my roof inspected per insurance renewal policy. As it turns out I did not need a new roof. I was very impressed with how quickly Arry's roof inspector responded and came out to evaluate. Friendly, courteous, professional-I can't say enough. I will be sure to call them when the time comes for a new roof.

Crew started job on March 3, 2014. Upon removal of 2 of the skylights and associated roofing shingles, it was apparent that skylights had been leaking for a long time because plywood was rotten. New plywood was installed along with self adhesive underlayment and new shingles on top. Shingles were woven in and nearly match the existing 6 year old roof. The third skylight turned out to be non-standard in size, so this was a special order and delayed completion. Crew returned April 3 with skylight and completed the job. Jorge communicated updates throughout the process. Crew cleaned up outside thoroughly. We took precautions inside the house by scattering drop cloths under the skylight openings to capture the debris from the demo on the first 2 skylights and improved the technique on the third one by sealing the opening with cardboard from the inside before demolition began. This was much better than having debris rain down into the room. We've had some rain since job completion and have no leaks. Isn't that the goal after all? Very happy with the crew and workmanship. They arrived at the scheduled time each visit and that is important for my scheduling. I expect that should a warranty issue arise, they will take care of it. I hope not to need a new roof any time soon, but if I do I will definitely call Arry's.

Work was completed on time and the roof leak repaired. Loose tiles were repaired as well. We have had no problems since the repairs were done.

The acceptance and scheduling of the job were accompished with minimal effort on my part. The seven man crew showed up as scheduled, were extreemly professional and completed the roof replacement, incuding repairs, correctly and efficiently. When they left, the cleanup was complete. No indication they had been there other than a brand new roof. I am very pleased with the entire process.

Stated roof in good shape and could hold off replacing for a few more years. Very honest.

Excellent. Follow up excellent It was a delightful experience to work with a roofer that did what they said and showed up when they said. We had a minor leak with the first rain, and customer service was above average.....again, came and did what they said. Everyone in the organization has been professional and reliable.

They did a really good job. They were also good about cleaning up the mess afterwards. I found them to be reasonable as far as their pricing goes.

They have not done the roof yet; it is scheduled a couple of weeks out. I have been happy with them so far. What stands out is their customer service; they get back to me. Their pricing is high, but the contractors all seem to like them. They did a good job with us selecting the roof so I think we are going to be fine with them. I can't think of anything they can improve upon.

We declined because of price -- not quality or performance.

We got several estimates and chose this company to perform the work. I was able to negotiate down from $1250 to $1200. It took 3-4 weeks to "get on their schedule." You cannot schedule same day appointments or even next week appointments since they are so backed up. This was not mentioned during the estimate, in email or during any conversation. After calling several times and emailing for a week or so, I was finally able to get an appointment 10 days after that. Once the appointment day arrived, they did the work without any issue. There are several hoops to jump through to get your appointment so you can't be in any rush with Arry's.

My experience was excellent. He is excellent. The price was what they said it would be. It did not go above what they quoted. I would use them again.

Arry's responded promptly to our inquiry but informed us they were unable to schedule a visit for purposes of an estimate within 30 days. We wanted to move forward more quickly so ruled them out solely on that basis. Note: to submit this report we first tried to respond "N/A" on an overall grade since we didn't think the company should be penalized for being so busy. But then we were prompted by the website to give a letter grade on our experience. Since Arry's couldn't respond to a request for estimate within a reasonable time frame for us, we ultimately gave them a C due to their perceived lack of staffing capacity. If they are always this busy, we hope they will hire additional estimators and roofers to alleviate the backup. If it's a temporary backup, we trust this won't impact their overall, excellent rating.

It was very good and I have no complaints. They were done shortly after lunch and everything was left neat and clean. They were here when they said they would be. I would use them again.

All went very well as they are great to work with. We called and they sent out an employee to write an estimate which we accepted. We were told that they had a backup of jobs and that it would be 4-6 weeks before they could do our repair job. When they called us 5 weeks later to come out and do the work. The work was done on the day they told us with no problems. They have called to make sure we were happy with their work and today we received a thankyou card with a box of cookies. This is a very good company and I now know why I see their trucks doing lots of new roofs around the neighborhood.

Very unhappy with this service - would not recommend them

They were not customer friendly nor accomodating. I will never recommend them for roofing because if they can't even make it work to give me an estimate, then why would I trust that they would be efficient at replacing my roof!

Excellent, no more signs of water

it couldn't have gone smoother. the work was done quickly and professionally. when the city of clearwater gave final inspection, they noted an error in the way the roof was completed, Arry's was quick to come out and fix the supposed error, however in the end it was the city of clearwater who made the error. Arry's never questioned the error and had it completed the same day the city of clearwater noted the supposed error. It was a complete and all around pleasure to do business with Arry's roofing. I just wish the city of clearwater could have been a bit more knowledgeable in their work. It would seem to be kind of embarrassing, to me, to be a roof inspector and not know your job. Luckily, Angies list doesnt cover the city of clearwater, or they would have been out of business by now.

I did not contract with Arry' s.

I had an "active" leak in my roof on my Palm Harbor home. On 11/20/13 I called Arry's to arrange a consult/estimate to fix the roof. I was told that someone could be there on 12/6/13. I said that I was looking for a consult/estimate only at this point not the go ahead for the work. The lady at Arry's said she understood, that 12/6 was the earliest they could get someone out there for my consult/estimate. I repeated that it was an "active" leak. It didn't matter to Arry's. If it takes 3 weeks for an estimate app't. I can't even imagine how far out the work schedule would have gone, 2-3 months after estimate? So my advice to my fellow Angie's List members is if you need a job done in a reasonable amount of time don't turn to Arry's. Life is very good at Arry's so they do not have any sense of urgency for the customer's situation. I was able to get 2 other roofers to come by for estimates within 24hrs and the work was completed by 11/26, before Thanksgiving.

Arry's was constant with communication, very good. They originally came out to do an estimate. Went thru the attic with me to see problem. Went on roof with me to see problem. This was an issue they temporarily patched for me 6 months back (for free) however, the problem re-occurred so they wanted to fix it permanently. They provided the cost & date of arrival. They are busy, so it was a few weeks before they would come to do the repair. Because the leak was minimal, and only during heavy rain, I had no problem with the timeline. They came out on time, fixed the problem as expected, brought me up to the roof to show me the completed work. Cleaned up just fine (found a few nails in the gutters but not bad). There weren't any surprises. Got the cookies in the mail (thank you note). Very professional company, would definitely use again.

After first installation leak was still evident. Upon Jorge's inspection and water test the repair was performed properly. So far so good! Arry's was attentive to our needs and was efficient with their follow up. Very satisfied with their performance.

They were great. They were polite, professional and punctual. They cleaned up after each day of work but also after the work was finished. There were some complication of getting it done but not due to them. The weather wasn't always permitting.

Came out to evaluate and give an estimate on a sagging corner soffit. Said it simply needed to be tacked up with two nails. I had the nails...Dave got on the ladder and tacked it up for me...no charge! You can't get better service than that...I guess I know who my go-to roofer is now!
