Services we offer
All American Construction offers all home and office solutions from the ground up.
Services we don't offer
Not offered are services that reqire a specialty license. To include, electrical work, plumbing, roofing and hvac. These trades all require a specific license and cannot be performed without one. All American has its own electrical, plumbing, roofing and hvac contractors. We have used the same contractors since day one and can recommend them all with the highest confidence.
I trusted Mr. Binning and he violated that trust. Issues with his crew walking off the job, every room had something unfinished. Subs he hired performing subpar work and his response was, “I won’t use them again.” But I am left with paint splattered on my terra cotta tile floor, my fireplace tiles and grout, doors primed but not painted. It took me days to clean up after the painters. Mr. Binning put in a new window in the master bedroom but there were large gaps/holes in the stucco around the window on the outside. Mr. Binning promised, on a weekly basis, to provide receipts and a spreadsheet of labor costs. That never happened! He also left all the construction debris in my garage and out back. I had to pay a few hundred more to get rid of it. So disappointed with the quality of the work and at the lack of integrity. I am heartedly disappointed and feel taken advantage of. Cannot recommended on any level.
Description of Work: Multiple projects on home purchase
My story is very similar to the other review. Mr. Binning betrayed my trust. Work was not completed to satisfaction or left undone. Rehab workers walked off the job due to disputes with him. Week over week I asked for budget updates and he promised to deliver spreadsheets and receipts. Doors primed but not painted. Paint on tile floors and fireplace brick. Construction debris and broken glass left around the property and it cost me a few hundred dollars to have it cleaned and hauled away. Beyond all the costs unaccounted for, work not completed or left half done and poor quality work, it was being taken advantage of the stings the most. Like the other reviewer I had to hire another person to come in and finish the job I paid him to do. Don’t fall for his “I’m a Christian” or “Army Veteran man of honor” he is none of those things. Shame on me for trusting him and shame on him for violating that trust.

To make a long story short the whole project will have to be redone. Additionally, he made matters worse by messing up the plumbing. The plumbing was leaking and we have been told that everything will need to be stripped out and replaced. I have a retired foreman of a construction company that lives across the street from me. He came over daily to look at the work because he was going to consider hiring Jon to work on his bathroom. However, he said that everything was done poorly and will need to be fixed. I also have friend and family members that work in the field, and they strongly agreed with the assessment. They were shocked by the poor workmanship and the small amount of work completed over the period of time he was there. When we asked him to fix the major issues, he walked off the job. To make matters worse, his employees (that changed daily) turned out to be unskilled laborers from the rehab group in our church. There were times when they were left alone in my house. John obviously can't do plumbing, he says he's not an electrician, yet claims to be a general contractor. However, he has no subcontracted plumbers or electricians. For the $1250 deposit, the only work completed was the demolition of the bathroom and installation of a small bathroom window. The drywall, concrete board, and everything else he did will have to be replaced.
Description of Work: I hired him to remodel my bathroom.

We hired this contractor with-out checking him out, he was to replace windows and ceiling in hall way, My husband had to tell him how to do the window job and he was making more work than needed to add hours and product to the job! kept changing the price on things, and asked for money before the job was finished and you wouldn't see him for days left stuff every where. So finally we had enough of his incompotience and FIRED him. We had to hire another person to finish the job! My only advise is if you hire this person, DO NOT PAY HIM UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE!
Description of Work: This contractor did NOT know what he was doing. Replaced 2 windows and did a horrible job!

Response from All American Construction
The amount charged was not only for the windows, but it was also for a new roof replacement on your home; re-wiring the rooms which needed ceiling fans and updated wiring to comply with code enforcement. There was a lot of work on your order; it was not just for windows. We fired you because you were treating your family and every worker on this job site abusively. You constantly threatened us with violence and were very abusive to your wife and her sister. You did not hire someone else since one of the subcontractors on the job site told us you approach him and gave him the price we had agreed on and asked him to under-cut it because we refused to work in such a hostile environment. We conduct ourselves professionally on a job site. As men, it is difficult to watch our customers being abusive to women. I am sorry for your personal problems and I hope that you have gotten the necessary help you need.
