Excellent courtesy and professionalism from Wayne and Chris! I called at 10:30, Wayne explained pricing and scheduled Chris for 11:30. Chris arrived on time and was efficient and pleasant. I should have done this years ago, but mistakenly thought that cleaning out the parts of the vent that we could reach was sufficient. I probably killed my last dryer prematurely, and definitely wasted energy.

My dryer was signaling that my vent needed cleaned. Was leaving for vacation and had a ton of laundry to do and was afraid to start a dryer fire. Called Ventsmart at 8:00 am on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Wayne (the owner) said that Chris would be in my area today and could clean the vent out between 2:15 pm - 4:00 pm and would call before coming. Chris called at 2:00 pm and was here by 2:15 pm. By 2:45 pm my vent was cleaned and everything worked perfectly. The were prompt, courteous and very professional. Will tell all my neighbors about them and will use them on a yearly basis so I don't have this problem in the future. Highly recommend!!

Wayne actually returned my call on Labor day weekend to schedule my appointment even though it could have waited for Tuesday. Mike was the technician who cleaned our dryer vent and did a very thorough job. He took time to explain what he was doing every step of the way and answer any questions. Mike was clean in appearance, very personable, punctual, professional and even called prior to his arrival. My only disappointment was I didn't get the senior citizen discount that was shown on Angie"s List. I would hire this company again.

My dryer had been working, heating up but was running, running without drying the clothes. We had just had a brand new roof installed so I felt it could be that a tile was blocking the roof vent. The technician that came out was polite and seemed very knowledgeable in what he was doing. By what I described, he immediately felt like there was a blockage of the vent. He actually went into the attic and then said that the roofers had actually tiled OVER the roof vent and this could easily have been a fire hazard. I got the roofing company owner on the phone and the technician was kind enough to explain the situation to them. From speaking with the owner of the company originally to explain my situation to the work done, this was a positive experience. I would recommend them highly to anyone and am extremely appreciative of their expertise which may have prevented a serious situation from happening if they had just come out and cleaned the vent and not gone the extra mile. Will definitely be using them each year to keep this vent clean.

Technician (Chris) arrived as indicated and even called when he was on his way. He was professional and courteous, informative, very thorough and did a great job. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and they were very flexible with timing as well. It was the second time I have used them and will continue to use them in the future.

This will be the 4th year we've used Vent Smart to clean the dryer vent. Since we started using them, we've had no problems with the efficiency of our dryer. Vent Smart is literally the best, most consistent contractor I've used since moving to FL . The technicians are ultra-professional, have great communication skills and do top notch work. Easy to get an appointment, technician always calls when on the way. They also send out reminder cards with a discount for repeat customers. Love this company.

We have used VentSmart for the past several years. Chris, the technician we have had from the start, is very professional. He always calls the day of the appointment to give us his arrival time. He is on time, very thorough?.far more than anyone else I've ever seen. We have a Maytag armoire dryer. It is no longer being made and all the reviews say it dies out within 5-7 years. Ours is over 8 years old and runs like new thanks to the detailed care taken to clean not only the vent, but the lines and the front panel of the dryer. We wouldn't use anyone else!

Called Wayne Monday afternoon for information about the vent cleaning. He was very friendly, informative and helpful. Mike came out on Tuesday. He called 15 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt and courteous. He thoroughly explained the vent and hose and why it is so important to keep them clean. He also explained the difference between the foil hose I currently had and a metal hose. He cleaned the dryer vent from the back of the dryer to the top of the roof (2 story home). He also replaced the dryer hose with a safer, high quality metal hose. He said the vent was almost 100% blocked on the outside, causing the slow dry time I was experiencing with the dryer. Mike made sure to clean the laundry area after his work was complete. He was extremely friendly and informative. Provided a sticker for the dryer with the date of cleaning, to serve as a reminder to keep the vents cleaned annually. Will absolutely use this company going forward and will recommend highly to friends and family.

First I spoke with Wayne on the phone, and he was friendly, very knowledgeable, and referred me to his website for additional information. He informed me of the danger of fire from a clogged up vent hose, and he was able to schedule Chris 2 days later. I was very appreciative of the time Wayne spent with me on the phone and was very impressed with his wealth of knowledge and professionalism. Chris arrived on time, connected the machine, and got up on the roof. Chris was just as nice as Wayne, and continued to explain everything he was doing. He also showed me all the lint he got out of the vent and installed a new dryer vent hose. He pointed out the huge difference between the cheap one I currently had, and the new metal one he sold me. Wayne and Chris also explained that just because the dryer vent was now cleaned out, the the dryer itself needs to be disassembled and cleaned by an appliance person. There was a slight misunderstanding about the price Wayne quoted me over the phone. So, I called Wayne, and after a brief conversation, I wrote the check for $148.62 , Wayne then called back and instructed Chris to only charge me $132.57. Wayne's philosophy is that he will do anything to please a customer. In retrospect, the $148.62 was probably the correct amount to begin with, but I greatly appreciate Wayne and Chris going the extra mile to accomadate me even though the misunderstanding was probably my fault. I think VentSmart is a great company owned and managed by ethical, honest guys who provide an important service for the community. I highly recommend this company and will to use them again every 12 to 18 months for continued maintenance.

I highly recommend this company...they went above and beyond. Mike was totally professional and extremely courteous. The cost was what I expected and I received a discount for "liking" them on Facebook. A+ all the way around.

This company has a code of ethics-- and operates that way. Mike arrived on time, looked professional and was very courteous. My dryer wasn't drying clothes and an error message flashed occasionally-- I thought my vent was clogged. Mike discovered that my vent had been installed improperly and with cheap materials. He went up on my roof and into the attic, showing me exactly what the problem was. Instead of just appearing to solve the problem by cleaning the vent, Mike pointed out the true problem and helped educate me on what the right solution would be. He didn't charge me for a cleaning, since he couldn't perform it under the circumstances. He easily could have said he cleaned it, but acted with integrity. I will use them again without question.

Chris also gave me some tips on how to improve our dryer vent function. He was friendly and prompt while in my home. I will definitively use them again.

As noted above, Chris did a great job. This was the second time he has visited us to do a yearly cleaning. They sent a Reminder Post Card a few days ago, so we got a credit off the repair price. All things being equal, I hope when I call them next year, they will still be in business.

I have used Vent Smart a number of times, and will continue to use them in the future. They are very prompt, friendly and professional, both when scheduling the appointment, and at the time of the actual service. They call to confirm the appointment on the day of the service, and arrive on time. They make it very easy to do business with them, and I can't think of anything that they could do to improve their service. They are great. If you need your dryer vents cleaned, call them first!

I called VentSamrt to clean the dryer vent in a rental unit. They were very punctual, courteous and respectful. Was very kind to replace the hose and the part that connects the dryer to the wall vent with an upgraded part. Payment was quick and simple over the phone. I will use them again when I need my home vent cleaned and from now on between tenants in my rental unit.

Mike arrived as scheduled, was very professional, and did a great job! This was the first time I had my dryer vent cleaned, and it was very clogged. My dryer works much more efficiently now; it takes much less time to dry heavy loads, such as towels.
