Chris did a great job & took the time to explain a few things to me about how vents work. My new clothes dryer literally would not work without a vent cleaning! He obviously did a great job because the dryer is no longer telling me to clean vents; It is working! 😜

Ventsmart's service was excellent all-around. Ventsmart was responsive to requests for quotes via Angie's List and provided an FYI on Angie's List discounts. I placed a call to the provided number and got a call back in a reasonable amount of time. Appt was set in timely fashion. Mike the technician called to confirm and provide an FYI on the likely arrival time. Mike was courteous, responsive, and explained everything. The price for the service was competitive with other providers. I would use Ventsmart again and highly recommend.

Called VentSmart about noon yesterday. Set up an appointment for between 11-12 today. Mike called me 15 minutes before and told me he was on the way. Service time was exactly as promised. I had never had the vent pipe cleaned and the dryer was taking forever to dry the clothes. I thought the dryer was going bad but decided to try cleaning the pipe first before buying a new dryer. Glad I did ! I always thought this service was a gimmick and unnecessary. Was I wrong ! Couldn't believe the amount of lint Mike removed from the pipe. Absolutely Amazing. Just tested it out drying clothes and the results are perfect. Clothes dried in less than half the time. Wish I had done this a long time ago. I will certainly add it to my list of regular home maintenance. Can't believe the fire risk I was taking and didn't even know it. Mike was a very friendly guy and worked quite efficiently. Will not hesitate to use VentSmart again.

Chris from VentSmart called to say he was on his way, he arrived on time & was as cheerful as heck. He explained everything he was going to do, explained the purpose of the equipment then proceeded to pull out the dryer. First thing he noticed was I had what appeared to me an attachment which looked like an aluminum accordion type tubing (from the dryer to the wall vent). Chris read the sticker on the back of the dryer which indicated the type of "tubing" which should be used (which was not what I had). He mentioned what I had was a fire hazard. Told Chris I would go out & buy the parts which were needed but he had them on his truck. This only set me back an additional $59.95 (part + labor) but the good news was once he was completely done with the cleaning, he was able to push the dryer 2" closer to the wall with the new parts he installed. The cleaning itself was $79 + the $59.95 for labor & hose tubing part. Even though I am extremely meticulous about cleaning my dryer & removing the lint from the trap, I was quite surprised at how much lint was pulled out of the end of the vents. I would most definitely use this company again & highly recommend them.

Rick was our technician, and he was awesome. Super professional, and very helpful. Mr. Bossman, please give this man a raise, because he deserves it!

Everything went well and I asked he remove the excess lint on my roof. He said he could remove it or just let it blow off. Since there was a lot of lint on the roof, he agreed to remove it.

Rick did a great job! He was very meticulous. He had to use his ladder to get from my balcony to the roof, and there wasn't a whole lot of room to do that. When it was all said and done, he even leveled my dryer after cleaning up. Took about an hour.

I am a repeat customer because this company answers their phone (no robots), schedules an appointment in a timely convenient manner, and provides excellent service. Rick called approximately 20 minutes prior to arriving and professionally completed the job to my satisfaction.

Wonderful experience. I made the appointment with Wayne - he went over the service and the costs. We scheduled the appointment and he told me exactly who would be doing the service, what time they would call before arriving, the time it would take to perform the service, and the acceptable methods of payment. Everything went exactly as expected. The technician Chris was very knowledgeable and in addition to performing the cleaning, he gave us tips on how to prolong the functionality of our dryer. I was able to get a tech out within a couple hours of calling for service. Tech called approximately 15 minutes before arriving to let me know he was on his way. In addition to cleaning out the vent and replacing the foil hose with a metal one, the tech went above and beyond his duty to help rearrange the washer and dryer in my laundry room. I definitely will be using this company in the future for annual cleanings and will refer others to as well!

Chris, the technician, called to say he was on his way and arrived as scheduled. Service was quick and painless. He cleaned the vent and resecured the vent to the wall more securely than it had been secured by the Lowes delivery person. Will call again next year.

My neighbor was having her vent cleaned and I asked if there was time to do mine. Rick came right over when he was done, and he was very courteous and professional. first he cleaned the vent behind my dryer, then he went on the roof. he cleaned out the screen in my dryer as well as brushed deep down in my dryer. He cleaned up after himself and showed me what was in my vents. it was amazing how much lint he found! I would hire him again in a minute! Fast, reasonable and courteous.

Contacted VentSmart to clean my dryer vent due to an alarm indication on my dryer. Service technician (Rick) was prompt and arrived on schedule. Rick did an exceptional job not only in cleaning the dryer/vent but also readjusting the dryer location for me. Rick was very professional and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend VentSmart for your dryer vent cleaning needs. Excellent company and will contact in a year to schedule annual maintenance.

Setting up the appointment was very easy and went smoothly, so I give an "A" for responsiveness. I give a "B" for punctuality because the tech came at the very tail end of the window I was given. He called to say he was on his way and all seemed to be going fine. He was nice enough at first. He came into the house and assessed the situation and immediately told me that I probably have a vent fan due to the distance from my dryer to the outside of the house, and that if it was bad I'd have to get it fixed. And it if wasn't working, he couldn't clear the dryer vent. Ok....I asked him how I would go about this. He shrugged his shoulders and said Ventsmart doesn't do this. I said that surely this is something you see from time to time, so it seems like you'd have some recommendations. He said "I guess you could call the manufacturer of the vent fan. Keep in mind, the vent fan (which I had never heard of) is located in the ceiling of the garage covered by insulation and in order to find out who the manufacturer is, I would have to dig into the ceiling to figure this out. He didn't offer to find out for me while he was up there. He said he found the vent fan to not be working. I asked him why wouldn't the guy I set the appointment with tell me that this could be a possibility. His response --- "How was he supposed to know you had a vent fan??" For whatever reason, this guy - I believe his name was Chris - was put off by my asking why that wasn't explained when making the appt. Seems like a reasonable question to me. I wasn't angry, I was just curious as to why this wasn't explained. Obviously, I would have used a company that does everything -- fix or replace anything that needs fixing or replacing and then clean the dryer vent. The tech started packing up his stuff and was just walking out the door without a word. I was thinking he would talk to me and give me more information about where to go from there .... he stood in my home and said "You kind of got an attitude" What?????? I was floored by this comment. I told him I most certainly did not have an attitude. He just walked away. My husband drove up at the time he was leaving and saw him bolting for his truck. My husband asked me "What was wrong with him" That's the way he left my home. I'm still in shock that this went down this way. I called Wayne and let him know what happened. He apologized, but also said that different people have different perceptions of how things are said and interpreted. He did say that he should have told me when I first called that this could be a possibility, whether he knew that I had this vent fan thing or not. He referred me to another company ... who I called. I explained the situation and they are coming out next week. So now I have to take more time off of work to go through this again.

It was easy to reach VentSmart to schedule an appointment that worked around my schedule. They were even able to come out early in the day on a Saturday. The one-hour window made it easy to work around. Chris called before showing up and arrived on time. He did a thorough job cleaning the vent up to the roof and provided great advice. Our neighbors had used the service and I commented that we should consider it, since it hadn't been done by us in the 6 years that we had lived here. Mike, the technician at my neighbors, gave me a discount card for $7 off the initial service with the information to contact - and if I used them, my neighbors received $ 10 off there next annual cleaning. I called the next week, spoke with the owner Wayne, who gave me information on the service and pricing and scheduled the appointment for Saturday morning. Our technician was Chris, who called 30 minutes out from our confirmed appointment to let us know he was on his way and nearby. He arrived 5 minutes early, introduced himself and got right to work. Chris noticed we had a new roof and when asked I explained that yes, a little over a year ago we had our roof replaced. He climbed up on the roof to inspect the vent and discovered that the roofing contractors had replaced the vent but never removed the factory screening from vent, which we were informed was a clear code violation since 2004. Neither the contractor or the inspector had caught it, and we were ignorant as well. Needless to say, our vent stack was TOTALLY clogged with hair and lint, a major potential fire hazard and the cause of our laundry smelling slightly sour, which I had attributed to the washing machine and the Tampa water. Chris explained that this was due to the dryer air being recycled rather than vented. After he finished cleaning the stack, inspecting the laundry room hoses, vents and machines; he gave us a brief rundown on dryer maintenance and some pointers on keeping it clean until next year. He then gave us a sticker to note the date for cleaning and explained his company would send an reminder out annually to schedule another appointment. The entire appointment took less than one hour and everyone from the beginning to the end was polite, professional, knowledgeable and offered superior service. I will definitely be adding this to my annual list of items for home maintenance; and would recommend anyone who has had their roof replaced to double check their vents.

I called to schedule a time to have our dryer vent cleaned and they were able to send a representative out the next day. The service from start to finish was extremely easy, the rep was very friendly, quick, and explained all he was going to do from the beginning. He even suggested adding a fire alarm to our laundry room for extra safety/precaution. I was extremely satisfied with VentSmart and its entirety. We will definitely be calling them again for any dryer related needs and annual cleanings.

Rick cleared and cleaned perhaps 30' of dryer vent line. Worked in the attic area to confirm that the vent was properly attached, made necessary attic repairs, then cleaned vent line to the roof. This company has cleaned our dryer vent line twice over the last few years. Excellent service - Excellent Professional employees and all services performed as described at the time of contact for the appointment. Highly recommend Wayne Herr's team and services!
