 + -1 moreIn June of 2007 my old monitoring service went out of business and transferred my monitoring (without informing me) to U.S. Security Systems. They monitored my home alarm system for years without incident, mainly because I never had an incident. In December 2010 I had the alarm system removed and as of July 2011 I am still getting billed for their monitoring of a system that does not exist. I have written two letters and called four times. When you call, you get an answering service, even during working hours. Messages left are not returned. If they are this inefficient and unresponsive one has to wonder if they are doing anything at all except sending out quarterly bills. At this point I am getting bills stamped "Past Due" and I am now worried about my credit reports. They have no access through email, no web site and no way to get anyone responsible on the phone.
Description of Work: They took over the monitoring of my home alarm system from my original company in 2007. I never had to deal with anyone at their office and just paid my quarterly bills.

Description of Work: This report is based on the feedback received from my neighbor while discussing different systems. She has expressed that she is very pleased with this company, who also monitors the system. She has had nothing but positive to say. I know the owners; they gave me a great deal on a battery I needed. The owner made a special trip to the wholesale place to pick it up for me. The owners are trustworthy, professional, courteous and always available (based on the responsiveness of answering the telephone and neighbor feedback). They do both commercial and residential and serve the surrounding counties. My plan is to switch from the company I now use to them after I replace an exterior door and exterior frame around a couple of windows. Based on the contacts I have had with the owners answering my questions and the feedback from my neighbor I would recommend this company.
