+ -1 moreElder is a master custom cabinet maker. He takes great pride in his craft, and the fit and finish of the cabinetry and bookcase he built for us are excellent. Elder has also proven to be a knowledgeable and capable contractor for other remodeling tasks, including plumbing and tile installation in the renovation of our bathrooms. Where many other contractors will cut corners to improve their bottom lines - for example, with structural elements that are not readily visible - Elder does not. He has earned our complete confidence in his commitment to doing things the right way. There are other carpenters and remodeling contractors who are less expensive than Elder. However, we think the prices he has charged us are very reasonable for the quality of the work he has produced. We trust both his honesty and professionalism, and we would recommend him without reservation.
Description of Work: Elder has done several projects for us over the last few years, most recently remodeling the guest bathroom from the floor up. He also completely renovated our master bath, built a custom entertainment center for our leisure room (which is the envy of our friends), installed custom cabinets and a work bench in our garage, and built a bookcase for a corner of our study.

+ -1 moreHe had to redo and extend 5 wooden window seals. His work is great and looks amazing. He even willing to go the extra mile and repainted the window seals. He is very dependable, clean and thorough as well.
