Pest Control -- We had ants in the new house to start out and I had Truly Nolen come out twice to spray for them. This did not help AT ALL, it actually made the problem worse (and I know that's to be expected within a week), but we are talking this was going on for a month now. I went and bought Ant Traps for $8, within an hour the ants swarmed the traps and 2 hours after that I didn't see any ants left. I haven't had an ant in a few weeks now because of the traps. The Lawn care portion of this is that they were to fertilize my lawn and make it "green" and fill the spots in from after house construction. The lawn looks no better than it originally did and I have had neighbors move in and get different companies and their lawns are already looking great. The problem now is that upon initial setup I signed 2 Agreements stating that Truly Nolen would take care of both of these. When I decided that they were not completing the job to satisfaction I switched companies. I received a call from Truly Nolen (masked as a local phone number -- rest assured the guy calling was NOT in Flroda) stating that I owed them $400 for cancellation for both Lawn and Pest control as well as the $200 I already paid up front and the service monthly fee. I spoke with my new pest control/lawn care and they stated simply that it is illegal in Florida to set up any type of contract with a consumer and to contact the department of Agriculture. If Truly Nolen doesn't amend this mistake and tries to collect these fees then I will be forced to proceed with BBB and Dept of Agriculture.

They treated my yard twice in two weeks. I vacuumed every day. I treated my cats again and I use a flea comb. I finally have it under control!

The met with me for an initial consultation, spent an entire day sealing up all the openings to my house and set traps. Although they had regular trap dates set, the tech gave me his cell phone number to call if we trapped on in the kitchen, which we did. He was there in 15 minutes to remove it. After 3 clean trap checks, they came and cleaned, sanitized and treated the attic for their scent. I have not see any rat activity at all.

They are pretty good. Sometimes the people that are scheduled to show up don't show up. Overall I don't have a bug problem. If they miss an appointment, that's just money in my pocket. They are on a quarterly basis so I could let them go at any time. I've had them for like 20 years.

They let me know they were here. They checked the exterior and put the granular all around the house. I asked the put extra around the screen porch and they did.

Entire team is cross trained and knowledgable. Much better than former provider I have recommended them to others and no one has left their service. I have used them know for 5 years at two different residences.

The two gentlemen that initially came to the house were very professional. They quickly went to work spraying for bugs in and around the house. I also scheduled them to come back and spray insulation impregnated with pesticides. My old house is now bug free and slightly cooler after all the work.

PERFORMED outside pest control maintenance only and rarely do they have to come inside. They remove cobwebs and go under the eaves and are very thorough.

Don, Truly Nolan's Service Coordinator performed not only a thorough termite inspection of our entire home, advising us "We were "good," Don's presentation and estimate were right-in-line with what I anticipated. As I explained to Don at the time, we were not presently financially able to perform the fumigation services until mid to late summer at the very earliest, which he said was "Just fine and the estimate provided to us would remain the same." We look forward to doing business with the local Truly Nolan Office as we had very good experiences and relationships with the folks in their Office in S. Florida Great people to deal with.

The estimator provided me with a detailed quote which was competitive. A thorough inspection of the premises was completed with several levels of service recommended. I liked the national reputation and the warranty. The rep made a quality presentation and I wanted to hire this company. Regretfully, the estimator never returned my call when I tried to hire them.

Their price was very competitive. We haven't had any problems. We had very few criticisms about them. It went good. They were in and out and then they come back for an outside treatment.

They did a really good job and they came back when we needed them to. They were very professional and courteous. They explained what they would be doing. We wanted something that wouldn't hurt our little doggie and they assured us it wouldn't and it didn't. We still have the type of critter coming back but it is because of the type of ant it is. They are dying as soon as they hit the barrier. The price is average for the area. They got hit with a lot of business at that time so we understood the punctuality. We would use them again.

Alex our tech is always very informative and always listens to our concern but the most important thing to us he is able to take care of our pest problems the first time and he is always concerned about our dogs safety and let's us know if there is anything we need to watch for with the time of year we are coming into

We use Truly Nolen for pest control at our second home in Englewood, FL. They treated for Florida termites (carpenter ants) when the ground was disturbed next door for a new construction. They also treat us for indoor and outdoor ants (fire ants and those tiny ones). They will come any time when we see a problem, and treat on a regular basis for prevention. I know they cost a little more than the private exterminators, but I am confident that they follow all EPA and health and safety requirements in their application and their products. The applicators are courteous, professional, and willing to answer my many questions about safety and effectiveness. Since we are snowbirds, they are flexible about coming when we call for inside work, and provide outdoor applications when we are not there.
