I hired this contractor based on three factors...1) my husband saw his work and thought it was great; 2) he was recommended by a coworker, and 3) he sent me a link to some other work he allegedly done. I say allegedly because the quality of our deck and patio is nowhere near the quality of work in the photos on the Web site. From the beginning, it was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor and I will never hire him again, call him for repairs, or recommend him to anyone. Contractor came to my house to pick up a deposit of $500 on February 14, 2012. On the same day, he told me he would bring me a sample the following week; he did not. Since I did not hear from him for a week, I sent another email on February 21 to ask how the sample was coming and this was when the excuses began. He said he would deliver it the following week; he did not. I also asked him in this email if he could have the job done by March 16 as I wanted to have a celebration for finishing school; he said it would not be a problem. I sent a third email on March 6 asking what the status of the samples was; again, the response was full of excuses, but also again saying he would have the samples the following week and that "we were still good for our timeline". I waited yet another week, like a complete idiot, and called around March 12, now almost a month gone by and no samples and no work even started. I was, to say the least, infuriated. The job finally got started on March 14 and was not completed until March 30. In those two weeks, I had to call almost every single day to find out where he was and when he was going to be at my home. On some days, he would tell me first thing in the morning and show up around noon. On some days, he would tell me he would be at my house at 10AM but then call at 10AM to tell me he was on his way and show up around noon. On same days, he did not show up at all. My husband fired him at one point and I tried to do the decent thing and give him the benefit of the doubt...never will I do that again. Perhaps worst of all, I should have checked Angie's List and the BBB before I hired him...he has Fs on both.

I have been after him for about 6 months to come back and clean and reseal the driveway. His warranty says his job is good for 1 year. Horse puckey! I promise I will catch up with him.

WE WOULD WELCOME ANYONE TO LOOK AT THE JOB THAT WAS DONE. THIS IS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD FOR ANY WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE AT OUR HOME. HE WAS NEVER ON TIME, HE WOULD ONLY WORK A SHORT TIME, THEN LEAVE AND THEN WOULD ONLY RETURN WHEN WE WOULD CALL HIM. WE HAD CRACKS IN THE DRIVEWAY A FEW DAYS AFTER HE WAS SUPPOSEDLY FINISHED WITH HIS WORK. AFTER REPORTING HIM TO HIS FRANCHISE HE CAME BACK TO REPAIR AND NOW THE REPAIR WORK IS WORSE THAN THE CRACK. HE CLAIMED HE WAS IN THE BUSINESS FOR 10 YEARS BUT...
