 + -1 moreWe are completely satisfied with our purchase, from our selected tiles to the medallion inset, thin set and grout. Tile Outlets had all needed materials in stock, has extremely reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff, and a huge selection of ceramic, porcelain, marble, terrazzo and other flooring material to choose from. Moreover, their working relationship with our contractor, Five-Star Flooring, enabled us to rapidly begin and progress on a roughly 2,700 square-foot remodel project that few other suppliers could've been able to deliver on. I don't write positive reviews just for the heck of it - I only report when I'm extraordinarily pleased with the company and service provided. Tile Outlets of America not only met but exceeded my expectations - bravo.
Description of Work: My fiancee and I are replacing the flooring in a 30-year-old home that featured mostly carpet, with some rather ancient tile as well. Based on a recommendation from Hector Morejon of Five-Star Flooring of Tampa, we visited - and have since purchased all our tiles and supplies from - Tile Outlets of America on Hillsborough Avenue. Their personnel are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide comprehensive customer service, including recommendations on critical details such as matching flooring to substrate and distinguishing non-slip tiles from other kinds to prevent accidental falls by elderly. Most importantly, Tile Outlets worked seamlessly with my flooring contractor, Five-Star Flooring, providing timely delivery of all requested materials and supplies at contractor price, enabling me to save substantially on my purchases. While Tampa may be replete with tile and flooring stores, you'd be well advised to start at Tile Outlets of America.

Description of Work: One female salesperson has a very, very bad attitude. She will do spiteful things regarding a sale, if she doesn't like you. The other salesmen seem OK.

 + -1 moreWhen I called back the next day, the cashier remembered me and and told me exactly who to call for transport and what my ticket number was. This was unexpectedly great service from a place that is set up more like a warehouse. I do not get this type of personalized attention from a "big box" store.
Description of Work: We went to look at tile and Jason was very helpful and informative. The selection was great and the prices were competitive. They have a system of recommending installers and transportation for the purchased items.
