Third Generation Plumbing And Mechanical Co. was contracted by American Home Shield to service a toilet stoppage. We went to the customer's home 3 times (2/9/17, 2/10/17, and 2/21/17). Each time the technician found baby wipes had been flushed down the toilet, causing it to back up. Because of this, the home warranty denied the customer's claim. The technician noted upon arrival each time of service, the toilet and tub were very old and already had chipped/marred places. Also, the technician cleaned the area each time of service. The technician states that he in no way marred her toilet or tub when doing service as this customer is claiming. When the technician told the customer she probably needed to replace the old toilet and tub, but it would not be covered by her warranty, she became very agitated, screaming at him, and threatened to call the news and report him. Our technician reported this incident to the service manager as soon as he left. We stand by our technician, and we are not responsible for any damages as they were pre-existing upon arrival on the first service call. This customer's claim is unwarranted.
