+ -1 moreSTEER CLEAR! I SCHEDULED A MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY /WWW.APTMOVERS.COM) FOR A SATURDAY MORNING, WHEN MOVE DAY ARRIVED, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. WHEN I CALLED, THEY TOLD ME THE TRUCK BROKE DOWN IN ONE BREATH AND NO ONE SHOWED UP FOR WORK IN ANOTHER. MY LANDLORD WAS KIND ENOUGH TO LET US STAY ONE MORE NIGHT; RESCHEDULED MOVE FOR THE FOLLOWING MORNING AND AGAIN THEY DID NOT SHOW UP. THEY MADE NO ATTEMPT AT RECONCILIATION DESPITE MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS. ENDED UP RENTING A U-HAUL AND CALLING ON FRIENDS. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT HAVE THEIR OWN MOVERS, THEY SUBCONTRACT OUT TO WHOMEVER SHOWS UP. THE 'MOVERS' HOOK UP TO THE APARTMENT MOVERS TRAILERS (FOR WHICH THEY PAY RENT) AND OFF THEY GO. YOU WON'T KNOW WHO YOU'RE GOING TO GET OR CLEARLY WHETHER OR NOT THEY WILL SHOW UP.
