The Kings of Crown

Kings of crown, contracted to put crown molding up in our family rm. on Feb 14th 2014. He told methat it would be within the first two weeks in March. I told him that would be ok, because I wanted it done before March 29th as we were having company. On Marc 12th he called and told me he was not going to do the work as it was under 100 ln feet. He knew this in advance to accepting the contract. I wasted 4 weeks of my time waiting for him to come. I could have and should have hired someone else. Very disappointed in this company.

My husband scheduled a crown molding job with Greg the week of Aug. 12th. Greg told him he could do it the morning of Monday August 26th but then before the conversation ended, Greg realized he had another project scheduled for that morning. However, he said that was a project he could switch to Tuesday, Aug. 27th and if there was a problem...he would let us know. It wasn't until TONIGHT... 38 hours before he was supposed to do our crown molding, that he called to say he can't rearrange his schedule to be at our house on Monday. When I pointed out that such short notice throws a wrench in our plans because we have other contractors scheduled to work in our bedroom after the crown molding is finished... he got extremely defensive, yelled at me and was downright nasty. What we would've expected was a call from Greg at least *several* days in advance letting us know he was unsure about being able to make it Monday. That would've given us time to hopefully find someone else. Instead, he let us know a day and a half in advance. What Greg fails to understand is that we're now forced to re-schedule our OTHER contractors which is not only an inconvenience for us...but it's also lost time and revenue for THEM. With that lack of courtesy, professionalism and respect...Kings of Crown DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

Better than excellent! Honest, worked hard, they were clean, quiet and the job turned out perfect. I showed him magazine clippings and he made it just like the picture. Their painter was great, I can't say enough. By far the best experience have had on Angie's List. Best price I found too.

They were great. They did good work and good clean up. They did a good install. They were here every second they said they would be here.

Barry and Greg are an experienced team and work very efficiently together. They provide molding which is already primed. So when the job was finished the molding was caulked, corners sanded and ready for me to paint. The corners are very precise as they should be. Our kitchen is small and the white crown molding makes the room look more spacious. We're very pleased with their work and you simply can't beat their price.

Barry is always punctual. When he makes an appointment with you, he'll be there. The installation went perfectly. One of the windows came with the lock installed a little crooked but Barry was able to fix it, saving us from having to deal with Pella and having an unlocked window in the meantime! The windows slide smoothly, he caulked everything and they look fantastic. He even took the old windows away. It's always a pleasure to do business with Barry.

Barry contacted us back promptly. He offered a very reasonable price and did an excellent job. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. We will definitely hire him back for future jobs.

Barry arrived early, we showed him what we needed and he went right to work. He did a perfect job mitering all the corners. I was thrilled when he did all the caulking because I thought I was going to have to do that part. As always, he did an excellent job, worked steadily and cleaned up after himself. There's not many people I would recommend for anything, but this guy is very talented and has a great work ethic. You may have to wait for him, but he's always worth it. I've had him fix things other "carpenters" have messed up!

We pay Barry by the hour and we always get our money's worth! He works diligently with no phone calls or breaks. He doesn't rush, he's just fast at what he does. Price and workmanship are very good. A few years ago he hung some new double doors for us and fixed the frame. They still look great.
