Tampabay Land and Tree

I am so impressed with these guys. I have used dozens of landscapers/ tree people over my 25 years in Florida and I can honestly say they are the best I have used AND the most reasonable. They are perfectionist ...just needed a few large limbs and that huge palm tree taken down and hauled away but George went around pruning and rounding upall my front trees without being asked.

George was prompt and arrived on the day scheduled. He removed some of the tree and intended to return the following Saturday, which he did. I paid him $500 up front and $700 on the second day. He had subcontracted the stump removal to a friend of his and said that friend would be out in the next week. After several weeks passed, I called George back to find out what was going on and he said he had paid the stump removal guy but could not reach him. I called again between thanksgiving and New Years and George had not been able to reach his subcontractor. Meanwhile, I had paid in full (My bad!) I continued to reach out to George and he did not pick up nor return my calls. I had a friend of mine call him, Male, and he said he was sorry he had not called me and promised to do so.. he never did. I try calling George from a different phone number and he answers, says he is broke, cannot find someone else to remove the stump and he is sorry. This went on for two more months. Finally George agreed to pay me back $300 by the end of March to refund the money for services not performed. When I called George's phone in early April, his wife answered and said they were broke and he could not pay me. Since that date, I have had the stump removed; it cost more than $300 but it had to be done.

Not only was he half the cost of other quotes. They did an awesome job ... you would never know we had all that messy yard work done. He cleaned it up so nicely that if I didn't see him do the work, you would never known they were there. He was on time, professional, knowlegable, and did an excellent job. I would recommend George to anyone. If you own a home and live in Florida, you have had some yard done at sometime... then you know it is hit or miss getting someone who does good work especially at an reasonable price. This is the second time we have used George and we have been impressed with his work each time.
