Tampa Bay Rescreens and Repairs

The initial contact from this company was excellent. They provided a quote promptly and were very competitive with other quotes we received. The problems began when it was time to perform the work. Our job was rescheduled four times for a variety of reasons and excuses. We finally got so frustrated with them not showing up to do the work that we looked for another contractor to do the job. Our job was being done right around the time of Hurricane Irma, so we know they were busy with lots on insurance claim work. Our project also involved custom doors that had to be ordered from a manufacturer in Sarasota, which was used as the excuse twice, but in checking with the manufacturer directly, we found there was only a two week lead time to get the doors. If they were too busy to do they work they should have just let us know and been honest instead of making promises they knew they could not keep. We would never recommend them for any job!

Vendor's response: "Sorry bit we are not doing any repair work at this time. We only do refurbishment and complete rescreens"

John and Mark did an excellent job. We had 2 of our new rental homes re-screened. They were prompt with their estimated and completed the job in a timely manner. We would use their services in the future. We had our home rescreened by another company and Tampa Bay Rescreen did a much better job than the other company. When Tampa Bay Rescreen completed their jobs, they did a cleanup and had no debris left around. Great company.

Arrived when scheduled and did a very good job. They left no debris behind. Will use them again.

The two partners arrived on time and set up in the parking lot of the condo complex to ready the screen and equipment to perform the job. So, rough cutting of the screening was done onsite in an area near the parking lot, not inside the home. The screening was then brought to the apartment balcony, along with tools, screening and a ladder. They made quick work of removing the old screeing and spline and replacing it with new screen and spline, They did not reuse any old materials -- everything was new material, including the spline.The old spline should never be used as it is usually old and dried out, and it will not hold the new screen in place for long. The new screen material was installed like fabric with the thread lines all the same throughout the job. All the lines were parallel and the screens were taut. There was no wrinkling whatsoever. They removed any excess screen and picked up carefully. All in all, a very professional job.

Everything went as planned and the pool pavers and aluminum inclser were pressure washed for an additional fee

Marc came out to mend a few areas on our pool enclosure and was pretty responsive for the initial repair. However, a couple of weeks later one of the mend-spots came undone. I called and he was going on vacation for a few weeks but assured me he'd get back to me or have his partner do so. I gave him several weeks and then began calling. He came out in mid-July and told me that he hadn't repaired that part (he had, because that was our worst spot) and it would need to be repaired along with another section that was loose, but that he would need to call me to schedule a time. I have called several times since, and have not received a call back or a visit. All summer long, we have been dealing with bugs, leaves, etc. as I have patiently waited on a response from this vendor. My patience is up......I don't recommend using this company. Or at the very least, be prepared to wait.

This provider was very kind and he didn't charge me for a minor repair because it only took him a few minutes to fix. I will definitely use this provider in the future; it's nice to know that there are great businesses that don't take advantage of customers.

Great service and quality work. Very responsive. They came to my house the same day I called. They provided a competitive estimate and completed work the following day. I obtained 3 estimates and they were very competitive on price. Highly recommend.

The entire experience from start to finish was positive.

I recently called several providers to get estimates for screen repair and/or replacement of my pool enclosure. I stated that I wanted an estimate for repair of damaged screens and also an estimate for total replacement since the enclosure was 14 years old. One provider never arrived, another required multiple calls to get the estimate scheduled and completed. However, the third, Tampa Bay Rescreens and Repair's Marc Hadley was a pleasure to do business with. Marc was prompt and efficient at the estimate appointment. He communicated up front the additional services [power washing, new door kits, bugsweeps, repaired tapcons] to be included in the total replacement estimate which may make their service more expensive. As it turned out, Tampa Bay Rescreens and Repair was more than competitive and provided excellent service. Marc also provided a copy of the Business License and proof of Insurance at my request. I would highly recommend Tampa Bay Rescreens and Repair.

Timely estimate, work performed when stated and on time. Excellent workmanship and quality of work. Neat, clean, prompt, competitive bid with more extras. Would highly recommend. No complaints or issues. Very good cleanup.
