Tampa Bay Electronic Systems is a great company. Jaret was up-front and honest with his recommendations. He sold me what I needed without trying to upsell anything. Jeff and Joe showed up right on time to install the surround sound speakers in my media room. They were courteous and careful. The speaker installation was perfect. TBES will be my "go to" company for any future electronics work.

Extremely professional, a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable!! They even fit me in last minute on Friday afternoon before Super Bowl. Would deal with them a 1000 times again!

Jeff was great to work with. We were able to get on his schedule shortly after calling, and he came over to assess our needs and give us pricing. We had gotten another vendor to give us pricing previously and this vendor has said we could not use the components from our previous house in our new house bonus room. Jeff said he could easily use the components we already had--and devised a system using both our components and speakers that we purchased from him. He also proposed the idea of a sound bar for our family room, instead of the very costly wiring of speakers through our difficult attic/ceiling configuration. When it came time for the installation Jeff and his assistant did a great job in putting everything in. They worked quickly and efficiently, and in probably two or three hours we had everything up and running. Jeff even gave us a discount off of our original invoice, because he did not need all of the equipment that he thought originally he would need. There are a lot of vendors out there who do home sound systems, but there is only one Theater Doctor. I will definitely call Jeff again when we need to upgrade or change our home AV needs. FYI--Jeff performed the service over the summer. I have wanted to publish this review for some time, but have just been crazy busy with everything else that goes into the moving into a new home. The delay in my review in no way reflects any less satisfaction with the work he did for us.

Jeff has worked in our home before and we were very happy with his services. We had another job for him and called him on or about 6/11/15. He answered the phone, took all the information and said that he would put me on the schedule early the next week. One week passed and we did not hear from him. We called and Martine answered and told me she would speak to Jeff and make sure that we were put on the schedule. Jeff then called me on Friday, 6/19/15 and told us that he would come over on Monday, 6/22/15 as his last job and would be there between 3 and 4:30. He did not show so I called him at 5:15 and at that time he told me that he was pressed for time and he was not going to make it over to the house. He did not have the professional courtesy to call in advance to let me know that he was not going to show for the job. I made special arrangements to make sure I would be available for his appointment. All in all, Jeff knows his stuff, but don't call him unless your job is worthwhile for him to show up. Sometimes, we forget where we came from. Very disappointing.

The Theater Doctor, Jeff, installed our home surround sound system 8 years ago. Since then, any time we have had a problem Jeff has always called me back promptly and always come quickly to solve the problem. He also replaced our stereo receiver several years ago. He is excellent at trouble shooting issues and is always prompt for a service call. Jeff is very professional and polite. I highly recommend The Theater Doctor !!

Arrived on time. Had to run cable in my attic and add access point to strengthen the wifi signal throughout my entire house. The Theater Doctor and his assistant were extremely neat and cleaned up 100% after they finished. The estimate and time to do the work were accurate.

I am 100% completely satisfied with the punctuality, professionalism and quality of the work performed by The Theater Doctor. All my questions were answered and Jeff took the time to review all the new equipment and operation of all the system hardware. There excellent. I had them install a remote system. It's a remote remote. My head unit is on a different floor than where the television is so it has to use a radio frequency to be able to operate the volume and all that stuff.

Jeff and his whole crew are great at what they do. I had them do several projects for me, including a surround system, an outdoor sound system, and install many tvs in the bedrooms of the house. My place is very unique in the way it's constructed. Jeff can in with a game plan and treated my home with the utmost respect and care. Case in point. I have a house built in the 70's with cedar roofs. One of my concerns was that someone would act recklessly mounting these speakers and damage a beautiful aspect of the home. Jeff could sense my worries, and immediately addressed this concern on the first day at the house, and did an amazing job with them. He carefully considered my duct work, the age of the house, and even better, he did it right, the first time. I could go on about Jeff and Joey and Martine and the work that they do, but that would be selling them short. I'll leave you with what I found most impressive about this crew. They listen. It's amazing to find someone who actually hears what you're saying and understands what you're trying to accomplish. He might not be able to answer your questions right away, but Jeff processes your concepts and works towards finding the best solution for you. It's an invaluable quality to have, and that's why I'll use Jeff on any audio visual project I take on.

I initially found The Theater Doctor on Angie's List as a highly rated home theater specialist. Since their website claims that they are also expert troubleshooters and were based in Wesley Chapel which is close to where we live in Lutz, I decided to give them a call. A lightning strike had cooked a video card in my Integra DTR 4.5 receiver so we couldn't watch TV through our component cables. I suspected I would need to buy a new receiver and The Theater Doctors website said they also sold audio components. Additionally, the company that had originally setup my home theater had created a bird's nest of wires which I wanted to have untangled. My initial call was at the end of July where I left a voicemail. I didn't not get a return call so I called again and spoke with Martine who promised to have the owner, Jeff, give me a call back. A couple of days passed and I had not received a phone call. I again left another voicemail message. Finally, I received a call back from Jeff the morning of August 8th. He told me he would call me the beginning of the following week and thought he'd be able to come out and do the work early the week of the 11th. By Wednesday afternoon on 8/13 I still had not gotten a call back to schedule. Once again I left a message explaining that we were planning a party on Saturday, 8/23 and were really anxious to get our system repaired. By Friday I still had not received a call back. All in all, I left five messages over a two week period (one with Martine, four voicemails). I finally contacted another Angie's List member on Friday afternoon who came out on Saturday morning to diagnose my system, and will be back out on Tuesday to install a new receiver and complete the rewiring work. I have owned my own business for 13 years. When I get a call from a potential client, no matter how big or how small, I always return calls or e-mails within 24 hours, because that's what professional businesses do. If my business was not worth enough money to The Theater Doctors, Jeff should have just said so instead of leaving me hanging. I'm in the advertising business and word of mouth advertising can be either the best or worst advertising you can get. In this instance, I will go out of my way to tell anyone who asks for a recommendation for home theater services, to definitely NOT waste their time contacting The Theater Doctors.

The job is in progress. He was punctual, professional, and offered good advice to save me money. So far, it's been good.

Jeff and Joe did an awesome job. They were here on time and I am 100% satisfied with their work. They even went the extra mile and hung up a troublesome shelf that I have. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and strongly encourage that you have them do your work.

Jeff is probably one of the most liked and personable owners you'll ever meet. Both him and Martine make a great team. They installed my surround sound speakers through my dingy got attic and updated all my connections. He's an expert in what he does and he's the type of guy you can't help but smile when you see him and refer him business anytime you can. Great work and very trustworthy!

Jeff was amazing from evaluation, quote, installation and follow up. He listens, understands the options and finds the best solution to the problem. I could not be happier with the service. I had priced everything out as far as hardware and he actually was able to procure equivalent, if not higher, quality equipment and a better price. His installation rates were outstanding given that an extensive amount of work was completed in a relatively short time frame. I don't write too many reviews, but Theater Doctor by far warrants a kudos and recommendation to anyone in the market for improving their audio/visual experience.

When I called the Theater Doctor it took a few phone calls to get an appointment. Some issues on my end, but also because they did not return two of my calls when they said they would and so I had to call them. Other than that...their responsiveness and professionalism are GREAT. They did me a favor by "squeezing me in" on an already busy day. They spent quite a few minutes on the phone with me to try and take care of the problem without a service call. When the owner was here, he was very knowledgeable, polite, and warm. He determined where we went wrong in setting the system up ourselves, labeled all the wires, and gave me some education on speak set-up. I was VERY PLEASED with the service, I felt like they could be trusted to help me and do so at a fair price. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone that needs home theater assistance.

Theater Doctor are true professionals. They installed an amazing home theater system and were superb in their follow-up particularly after we had a connectivity issue (turned out to be an issue with our service provider). Jeff provided some great recommendations after his initial visit, and we found his equipment prices to be extremely reasonable. We ended up purchasing the TV ourselves while he provided the remainder of the equipment that we didn't already have. We were upgrading from a top of the line surround sound system that we had for years and thought had great sound. However, the system Jeff put in brought us to a whole different level of home entertainment. The sound is truly remarkable and it is a joy not to have any visible wires. If you want an awesome home theater system at a very competitive price, call the Theater Doctor!

We contacted Jeff on Saturday and he was able to get onsite on Monday. He was very professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend him. No job to small or to big. He treats it like it was his own home or business.

They were outstanding. They went above and beyond what you would expect any company to do. She was driving in her car and stopped along the road to take an order from me. She placed the order when she got to her location. The part was here and at my residence within a week. Once the part arrived, I actually called her back to pay for the part because they did not bill be ahead of time.
