So happy that my 3-year contract expired! Fire alarms randomly went off in the middle of the night several times, the security alarm also went off several times and NEVER received a call to check on our safety. Many of our neighbors have experienced the same issues, but unfortunately for them, they are still tied to the contract. I WOULD NOT TRUST THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF YOUR FAMILY ON THIS COMPANY. Asked to cancel the contract multiple times due to my increased concerns of lack of security monitoring. Even when they can’t deliver on their responsibilities, they will not let you out of the contract. $58 a month wasted on this Company. Even when the contract expired, they still require you to sent email cancelling the contract...and pay a partial month? Another Company with an ounce of decency would’ve let you out of the contract after it expired without having to partial pay month after contract had already expired, particularly when they never reached out to check on your family when alarms went off. Sent email to Sharen Overstreet, still no acknowledgement or response of my request to cancel the contract.

Cameras stop recording all the time. Have had them out twice, each time it takes a least a week for them to come out (25% of the month I was billed for). I stopped calling them to come out and fix. I wanted to cancel, but they want me to pay for the rest of the service agreement when their service doesn't work all the time. I still have received an acknowledgement for the last service request. The installation went well on the 2nd visit, but on the initial visit, the technician, Aaron, had a rough time navigating our attic which had been partially blocked off by the additional duct work and insulation that we had installed a few years ago. He found a way to make it work to his credit. I called the Synergy contact back later to ask for some additional instructions on playing back the recordings. They happily replied and sent Aaron and another tech back to explain how the processes worked. We really like the new system—the cameras cover all the main entry points in great detail and in color, with good infrared vision at night. They provided a phone App that allows me to view all the cameras in real time as well as playback for each one.
