STUMP GRINDING SERVICES, LLC

This was the first time I had dealings with this company and I was a little apprehensive, however, everything worked out perfect. The first day the business owner came out, surveyed the work and provided an estimate. The next day he came out with his crew to do the work. Job done was great and the cleanup was thorough.

I hired this contractor to remove a stump of a freshly fallen grand oak. The stump was bigger than the hood of my pickup truck. Chuck and crew arrived early and began picking up some of the mess from the fallen monster-sized tree as they waited for me to come out of the house. He surveyed the job, quoted me a price considerably less than other companies that had seen the fallen tree from the road and stopped to offer estimates. I wasn't exactly ready for the grinder because some of the large trunk was still over the stump. They removed the obstructions (free of charge!) and went to work. When the job was complete it looked like the 100+ year old tree had never been there. The ground was leveled, the mess was picked up, and for once my property was respected. He even removed anther small stump from a past grapefruit tree for pennies on the dollar because he was already on site. The guy was far more concerned about the intrinsic value of my yard than I was. When finished, Chuck walked me around the area and made sure that I was completely satisfied prior to accepting payment. He pointed out that he had slightly raised the grade over the stump area to compensate for future settlement of the site (which is now perfectly level). As we talked, he pointed out some other tree issues that had gone unnoticed. We had a limb over the house that looked healthy to me, but it turned out that it was hollow, rotted and a fall hazard. Due to the proximity of the limb to the house, Chuck had to rope off and climb the tree to cut, prune and shape. I could ramble on for much longer, but I think that the picture is clear that I was very satisfied, to say the least. Saved some money, too, which is always a good thing! I have been in the business of buying and selling Real Estate for a long time and have many ethical contractors in my phone book as a result, but I was so struck with this provider that I wanted to tell the world about him so I actually had him return when he was free and helped him set up a profile on Angie's List for the benefit of others. If you want your stumps to disappear and/or your trees to and quot;popand quot;, this provider has the artistic eye and experience to make it happen!
